Room was cleaned nicely, and stocked with some essentials. Owner was very descriptive and met me outside to be sure I got settled in appropriately. The occupants were quiet and welcoming. Nice hot shower!

I was a little disappointed when I arrived. The listing said apartment and is was more a finished basement. Which might be perfectly fine for some, but when I arrived the room was in a very lived in home. There was a family dinner happening when I arrived and there were children playing and laughing. Which I don’t mind but with the long days of engagement, I was having at the conference I needed a place to get in shower and rest, and I could not do it there. The host did nothing wrong and the room was fine, it just wasn’t a restful enough place for my needs.

Hi, I don’t have kids and I live with my elderly parents who go to bed early and none of us make disturbing noise. I had visitors for 2 hours who came with their autistic kid and that was 1 day out of the 10 or so days you stayed and I apologized for that noise. If that is how you evaluate your whole stay, it’s up to you. I never advertised the basement apartment as a vacation resort or a meditation club!!! So disappointed with your review!

Never stayed at the property because of a host-side double booking. After a full day of delayed flights, I reached out to the host to advise I’d be late, only to be told that I "never booked"—despite having already received check-in instructions and the address ahead of time. Shortly after sharing my confirmation info with the host, the reservation was abruptly canceled from their end. This left me stranded at the airport on the night of my arrival with nowhere to stay. Total inconvenience and unprofessional communication.

Hi, My apologies. There is a double booking while your payments were being processed. The VRBO team told me to cancel it and that they will sort it out. I provided the full refund. That was the best I could do as my place was already occupied by the other guest. Again my apologies for the inconveniences you faced.

Just a place to sleep while attending a convention at the Gaylord. Place is simple but efficient - would recommend taking out trash before guests arrive (bad food smell from rotting garbage) and replace broken bottles in shower, but otherwise fine! Might want to add lock on guest side of stairway door for added guest security.

The address given was undiscoverable using rideshare services resulting in having to find accommodations after 11pm in the cold. Multiple attempts to connect w/ host to clarify the address went unrecognized.

I’m sorry you were not able to differentiate between NE, SW, NE and SE in the address and your ride share driver took you to a wrong place. The address is very clear and it is clearly stated in the app and in the guide. I responded as soon as I could - given you were trying to reach me in the middle of the night. If you had come to the house and you were not able to get in, I understand if you complain. But if you go to a totally different place (NW instead of SE) because you couldn’t give the right address to your driver, and you claim you couldn’t find it - well, it is absolutely your problem.
