House Location Excellent

Our group of 6 enjoyed this house. You can’t beat the location across street from beach and park, views were great. Our group enjoyed the bedrooms, kitchen, living and dining room. Given our make up of two couples and 2 single adults, the house worked great for our needs. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked at house 4 of 5 nights during our stay. We would rent again.

A Must Stay!

Our stay in Cambria could not have been better. The house is spacious, well-appointed and in the perfect location. The views of the ocean from both porches makes them the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. Slept so well listening to the sound of the ocean waves. Across the street is a park and swimming pool. Our host could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed the many shops in Cambria and went 5 miles north to watch the elephant seals twice. We will definitely return and book again.

Family vacation

This was our first family vacation with our grown kids and their families and we had an absolute amazing time. The house is beautiful and so close to the ocean we slept with doors open to hear the waves 🌊 at night. We can’t wait to go back next year and hopefully make this a family tradition.

Tranquil Beach Getaway

Fantastic Location with beautiful view of the ocean. Easy walk along Moonstone beach. Plenty of room for 5 girls on our beach/ wine tasting weekend. Very comfortable beds. We had a lovely stay.

Cambria Getaway

We spent 3 days relaxing at this comfortable home. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. It would be ideal for families with children because of the proximity to the park and the beach. The stairs were a little challenging for us seniors though.

Perfect!

Lovely house, comfortable beds, full kitchen, across from the beach, no traffic or loud neighbors. Excellent location within walking distance into Cambria and 437 acre reserve. Very central to an abundant of activities. Watched our Seahawks win on a 55" 4K TV! This house didn't disappoint on all fronts. A very enjoyable stay! Patsy

Aamazing House with Amazing Views

My new favorite house to stay in Cambria. We will attempt to book this house every trip. Not shown in the pictures is a game room in the downstairs garage. There is a arcade basketball game and ping pong. The balcony views are amazing, and you will never want to leave. Plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows for EVERYONE!

Charming Older Home

Property Manager was responsive, understanding and accommodating as we finalized some changes to our reservation - Thank You! The home, while older and dated, was clean and lovely place to ‘beach bum’ around Cambria while visiting with nearby for family to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Plus the view of the ocean from the deck was simply beautiful - we enjoyed evening cocktail hour and morning coffee each day while chatting and watching the waves crash on the beach across the street.

Excellent location, great stay

It is hard to beat this location, and the property is very spacious. The online photos do not do it justice. Pretty much every room has a view of the ocean. Everything was clean and worked. The house itself needs quite some repair (e.g. we were a bit suspicious of the safety of the front balcony, and the railing up the stairs is not secure) and I hope it gets taken care of going forward - it would be shame to let this gem deteriorate more.

What a view!

Each year I take my parents to Cambria for a few days. My friend joined us so I booked this house. It was perfect for us. We sat on the balcony with our glass of wine and watched the sunset. We played cards at the dining room table and could hear the waves crashing even with the windows and doors closed. The house is straight out of the 80’s, but clean. The beds were comfortable for each of us.

Excellent Location

6 adults had plenty of room, not sure why someone else said it was small for 6 people. The only place that was cramped was the kitchen, if more than a couple of us were in there, which only happened at packing up time. Proximity to the beaches, trails and shopping couldn't be beat. Melinda was super responsive with a couple little hiccups we had, accidentally locking the bedroom doors and an small issue with the kitchen drain. Loved having the doors open and hearing the surf! We will stay here again, when we come back to Cambria!

Expected Better

The stairs to the main entrance has exposed rusty nails, handrail deteriorated with splinters. As we entered the property, encountered spider webs in kitchen, living area, and den area. Spider webs under the couch and under the black leather chairs in the living room. Deck, soft rotting wood on left side of deck, we sat on the opposite side for safety. Previous tenants dishes were in the dishwasher upon our arrival. Queen bed in guest room has exposed metal and squeaked, difficult to sleep. Master bed was comfy. Blinds are rusty, old, and bent. Three clothes hangers for three rooms! I could go on, but what’s the point? Based on previous reviews, we knew the place was dated. The property owner (premier host) stated back in 2022 that complete renovations were underway. ‘Guessing those improvements are delayed. As a safety professional for 35 years, this property has so much deferred maintenance; be mindful during your stay. It’s an incredible location! Beach across from the park

The location of the property is perfect everything close bye! Robin’s for dinner recommended by owner was fabulous. Hearst castle just down the road, Moonstone beach boardwalk fabulous.

Location and overall house function and comfort are excellent, and. would justify attention to cosmetic touch ups and deferred maintenance. We were three couples/old friends reuniting and it served our needs perfectly.

Cambria stay

This property is great for kids as it’s across the street from a playground and pool. And just beyond that is the ocean which connects to a great walking trail. the house supplies almost everything you would need to stay for a few days. Some of the activities that they have recommended on there welcome sheet are no longer available such as the lighthouse and NITWIT RIDGE house

Great location & place!!

Property was spacious for the 4 of us & my fur-baby. Upon arrival, even though the internet was down, it was fixed promptly and communication with the host Melinda was superb. She even let us check in early & late check out - which was awesome since it was so hard to leave. Can’t wait to return for more memories, laughter & fun!
