Lovely stay on a beautiful property!

We really enjoyed our time at Adrian and Nicky’s cottage. It’s a spacious place with a great view of the water and a lovely deck. Great communication as well. We hope to come back!

Beautiful and relaxing place

We rented this beautiful property with friends visiting for the first time to Canada and we had the most relaxing and peaceful time. The view, water front dock, lake and cottage were perfect. Everyone had an amazing time playing games, swimming, relaxing on the dock and exploring the lake in a pontoon rental. We all got our steps in when heading down or up from the waterfront with the many stairs. The view from the deck was breath taking. Our host was more than helpful and made sure we all had a wonderful time. This is an amazing cottage to rent. We highly recommend.

Babymoon in Cottage Country

Great property for a wonderful getaway in cottage country. Loved the lake and had a great time canoeing around in the afternoon. Excellent proximity to hiking trails, provincial parks and other cute towns for day trips, with a local grocery and general store with everything you would need. Highly recommend for a weekend/week on the lake, wish we could have taken advantage of all the water activities but there simply wasn't enough time. Great spot for a family, or a small group of friends.

Perfect Escape

We spent the weekend at this lovely cottage and got to enjoy all the great amenities. Right on a beautiful lake, we we did some canoeing and fishing during the day, and then relaxed at the cozy cottage in the evenings. All the necessities were included, which was super helpful. The surrounding area and property are gorgeous and we're looking to come back again this very same summer!

Great Stay

The cottage was well stocked which made it very convenient for us. The swimming and paddling was great! The stairs down to the water may be tougher for families with really young kids - we had adults and teens so we didn't mind. Haliburton Village was a fun place to stroll around on the rain day and groceries were close by.

Great lake cottage!

We had a wonderful stay! The water is nice and deep so the swimming was excellent, which is key for us. The cottage was beautiful and well maintained in a lovely natural setting.

Perfect week on the lake

We stayed at the lake house in the winter a few years ago and we’re keen to spent some time in the summer, and it did not disappoint! The cottage was perfectly appointed and very cozy. Our favorite time of day was sunset on the dock… so gorgeous.

Little Bit of Paradise

We enjoyed every bit of our stay. We canoed, kayaked, swam, took amazing sunset pictures, hiked and biked. The spot was just so serene and we were able to completely unwind and relax. The bed was so comfy and the cottage provided everything we needed. There were no surprises as it was everything advertised to be or foretold to be aware of. Just lovely! The hosts were kind and checked on us to see if we needed anything. We highly recommend this rental!

Perfect Getaway!

This is s lovely cottage. Everything is as listed. The view from the dock is beautiful. Our girls loved visiting the beavers across the lake. It was a perfect weekend away.

Scenic Getaway

We had the most wonderful stay at this lake house. Our favourite part was the truly unique one of a kind view of the mountains on the other side of the lake. It is so peaceful, and the perfect place to recharge, make memories and enjoy nature. The owners were great to communicate with and they provided us with the tools and full detailed instructions for our stay to ensure we were well equipped and safe. We will be staying here again, and we can’t wait until next time!

Great way to refocus

We spent a few winter days relaxing in this lovely cottage. It has everything you could possibly need from a well supplied kitchen to board games and comfy rooms if you’re looking to spend the cold time indoors. Great lake view and very quiet. Owners were amazing and easy to get in touch with for anything. Thank you!

An amazing experience!

Along with close friends we came to this beautiful cottage! Instantly we saw why the owners fell in love, the view is spectacular, and the cottage feels like home! Pride of ownership is apparent as this cottage is well kept and beautifully modernized. We enjoyed a wonderful winter walk, and even ventured out on the frozen lake! We cozied up by the woodstove and played games on our last night! We look forward to visiting again, in the warmer months!

Short Getaway

My family was looking for a quiet, winter escape and we got everything we wanted with this cottage. Everything was clean and organized which made for a really smooth transition. A nice quiet getaway!

This cottage was amazing! My husband and I stayed a few days during the week. The location was a magnificent winter wonderland! It was so quiet and serene. The cottage was well stocked with everything you need. It was nice relaxing by a cozy wood fireplace. We will definitely book again!

Winter wonderful!

My friends and I rented this beautiful property for a mid week getaway. It was comfortable, clean and incredibly well equipped. The owners gave us all the information needed, definitely made our stay easier! It snowed and it felt like we were ina winter wonderland. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful winter getaway!

This is a lovely and cozy cottage! Comfortable beds, well stocked with a modern kitchen, appliances and a large table overlooking the lake to gather together sharing meals and playing games. There is a great firepit, nice view of the lake and the sky was covered with a blanket of stars. No problems with the internet and the guys were able to work and attend lectures remotely with no issues. Would highly recommend this property for a winter get away!

Great winter getaway

Our family had a wonderful time at the Highlands East cottage. We spent three nights in January and enjoyed skating and snowshoeing on the lake. The cottage was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. After lots of outside time, we spent our evenings in the family room enjoying the cozy warmth of the wood stove. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. We have already started talking about when to go back.
