We had a quick stay just one night. It was perfect for watching the fireworks from the lake. Accommodations were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Great vibes and lovely cottage setting. Easy parking, access and room felt clean and well taken care of. We found it to be a little overpriced for not having a kitchenette with plates, cups, utensils and an additional sink other than the bathroom. Brita pitcher was too dirty to use and no place to clean. Other than that, it’s a lovely place!

Hello Caitlan, We are glad you enjoyed your stay. You were a pleasure to host. In actuality our fee is only $85 a night and $30 cleaning fee. The balance are platform fees and taxes that are beyond our control. Of that $85 we pay a percentage. The rates for an accommodation with a kitchen are well beyond $85 a night in Mt. Dora. Our apologies regarding the Brita, we will definately take that up with our cleaners. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We wish you safe travels and we'll wishes.

Everything was exactly as pictured in the listing. Room is about the size of a hotel room which is just what I needed for a single night stay with my plus one. Location is incredibly close to Mt.Dora, only a quick 5 minute drive, which was perfect for sneaking over in the morning for coffee in town. Check-in was incredibly smooth, with clear instructions. Dora was very quick to respond to my messages, which was a big help when i was having technical difficulties with Vrbo, together we worked it out. And she was very flexible about my extra late check-out request, I was happy to pay the additional fee for more time. TLDR: Great location, clean space, reasonable price, and easy communication. Would be happy to stay there again!

Simple in and out. Had everything available as advertised. I had a full itinerary, so the room was just for a place to sleep and refresh and it more than met those needs. Beautiful location and very conveniently located.

This was perfect for our trip to Mount Dora.

Our rental was very clean and quiet. We knew we were going to be gone during the day, so we just needed a bed and bathroom. The bathroom was a nice size, queen bed, plenty of closet space and the location was great!

I've been running the Mt. Dora Half Marathon for five years, and was pleasantly surprised to discover this absolutely beautiful spot to relax and unwind before the race! The Lakeside Hideaway is clean, comfortable, and has every amenity you need to truly feel like you're home while away from home. :) Not to mention the views of Lake Dora are postcard perfect!
