Mountain View Rental cabin #2 is located on 13 acres that joins the George Washington National Forrest. Our newly finished cabin is located in the middle of several popular attractions such as Luray Caverns, Endless Caverns, Cooters, Luray Zoo, Shenandoah River, New Market Battlefield and many more. Our property has many hiking trails around the property, small stocked fishing pond, charcoal grill, firepit.

Great vacation spot

We enjoyed til his house so much. The energy of the people who own this property is all over this beautiful cabin. Comfort, calm, fun are the top 3 words that come to mind. The cabin is spotless, welcoming and filled with comfort. My favorite spot was on the back deck swing where I enjoyed my daily coffee.

Would Absolutely Stay Again!

We had such a relaxing and peaceful stay at this cabin! The setting is beautiful and quiet — perfect for unwinding. The cabin itself was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell a lot of care was put into making it cozy and welcoming. Check-out was incredibly easy, which we appreciated. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again!

Family visit

What a great place to stay . We have family over in Broadway got to spend some time with them . Spent sometime in Luray , Good Times ! I would rent this cabin again very nice, clean , host was very friendly and responsive when I had questions.

property was great and plenty of space. There was plenty to do and place was clean, great location, close to New Market but our own little space. Will be back again.

Loved it

Beautiful property; super comfortable cabin; fantastic porches; great location in terms of the park, caverns, wineries, etc. We are super glad we chose this listing for our stay. Our only regret is that we didn't see any bears (well, only one of us regrets that.)

Best smelling cabin in VA!

The property was spotless and everything just smelled and felt so clean! The beds were comfortable, sheets were so nice, and the furnishings were lovely! We had everything we needed and then some! It was very secluded down a gravel road, with another cabin just up the hill - but felt like the yard, forest and pond were all ours. Proximity to Luray Caverns was awesome! And do yourself a favor and get the fried chicken at Southern Kitchen in New Market. Really hope to be back again for a bit of nature and relaxation

Mountain View Getaway

Our stay at this marvelous cabin was just what the doctor ordered! It was quiet and inviting. We enjoyed preparing for our son's wedding without feeling rushed and overwhelmed. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We plan on many visits in the future.

Quiet and relaxing

My husband and I took a short weekend trip to the area with our dog. We initially arrived at the wrong cabin (there are two) but Keith was readily available and helpful at redirecting us to the right one - our fault, as we missed the earlier instructions to go to the one with the red roof. Nonetheless, it was an amazing stay. The cabin is so well kept and comfortable and it's close to many hiking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed and plan on going back soon!

Bearly Believable

Yup, the title says it all. On our first efvening we were visited by a large deer. On our second evening a large adult bear came strolling across the front yard area overlooking the pond as we sat on the deck eating our dinner. It really caught us off-guard and simply doesn't get any more bearable than that!! The cabin is totally pleasing and in a wonderful setting.

Getaway

The cabin was beautiful and in a great location! I didnt catch any fish in the pond but it was fun trying! Given it was so cold the hot water in the shower could have been a little hotter. Loved the smores and wine. Thanks so much for a great getaway! the pind but it was fun trying!

Really nice and cozy cabin

We loved our stay at the mountain cabin. It was clean, cozy and well maintained. We loved the swing on the deck and fishing with our kids at the pond.

Long weekend

We took a long weekend to rest, relax, and sight see. The cabin was perfect, clean and comfortable! The town of New Market didn’t offer many places to eat so plan ahead for that. Enjoy this beautiful cabin. We sure did!!

JMU Parents weekend

We loved the cabin it is decorated so nice and the beds are comfortable. We just stayed 2 nights for parents weekend. We loved the proximity to New Market its such a cute town and they had a festival that weekend. We want to come back and enjoy the fire pit!
