This newly remodeled and furnished 3 bedroom / 1 bathroom home has all the modern amenities you will enjoy, plus the charm and character of a turn-of-the-century property!

Main level living includes family room with 70-inch flatscreen TV, gas fireplace, leather sofa and ottoman, comfy seating for 7, fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances, coffee bar, and large kitchen table with seating for 8. Three bedrooms sleep 5 with large TVs, one bathroom with tile shower and heated floors. Dual master bedrooms, upstairs bedroom has gas fireplace and private door to backyard. Downstairs walk out basement master with large TV and additional private entrance, as well as laundry room with washer and dryer. Driveway parking for up to 3 cars with partial covered carport.

This home is accessible by a flight of stairs to the main entrance, as well as a spiral staircase going down to basement master bedroom.

Fully landscaped front yard and private backyard with calming water feature, outdoor seating, and sliding screen door access to kitchen and rear bedroom.

Home is equipped with cable, WIFI, and smart TVs in all rooms. Security cameras present to view driveway/street entrance only.

Great House

We enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and just like the pictures. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. We really enjoyed having easy access to Garden of the Gods.

Perfection

This place was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to amazing trails and views. The water feature was the cherry on top. I would recommend this place to anyone coming in the area for garden of the gods. You wont regret it.

Aug short stay

Nicely remodeled home near garden of the gods. King bed in lower level that you need to use spiral stairs to access. Backyard with seating and fire pit nice for the evenings.

Clean, convenient, and cozy

Perfect stay for our family. The location was outstanding. The stairs to the basement room are a little tricky but you get used to them. The outdoor area isn’t pictured but was a highlight of the property. We even had a mule deer visit.

Awesome place!

This place is awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Everything was super clean and updated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The back yard is a great place to hang out. The extra supplies provided for us was a generous added perk and we really appreciated it. The hosts really thought of every detail to make a comfortable stay for us. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect location

Jennifer, the host, was wonderful. She was responsive and referred us to some wonderful restaurants. The house was well furnished. The property is located close to many venues we wanted to visit. It is a quiet neighborhood and we were very pleased. Couldn’t be happier!

Great time at the Retreat on Laurel

My family and I very much enjoyed our time at the house. The place was clean and well maintained. We see the are making some more improvements. We loved sitting on the patio in the morning listening to the water feature in the back yard. It also was very close to the many attractions be it a 15 minute drive to the zoo or the Pike Peak entrance. Garden of the Gosa is beautiful and just a quick walk up the road

All the little touches

The Laurel Retreat was so comfortable and had so many nice little touches to make you feel at home. The kitchen was stocked with items that would allow us to make meals and the host provided coffee which was great! The waterfall in the backyard made sitting out in the evening so peaceful. This was so close to all of the things we wanted to do. Additionally, the wildlife that would stop in was special. We saw a deer and two fawns.

Absolute Gem!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Location is fabulous and accommodations are wonderful! Lovely outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the lovely Colorado outdoors! Close to Garden of the Gods and especially close the the G of the G Stables! Great restaurants very close and a quick jaunt to downtown Colorado Springs!

Tater tots Vacation

It’s been 21 yrs since we had been to Colorado Springs. This was a great trip to reminisce and show the kids the wonders of Colorado. The home we stayed in was as close to perfect as could be. We will definitely try to book this place again in the future.

Beautiful home

Beautiful house with great amenities— highly recommend!!! Everything was as pictured, if not better. The property manager was friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. This was a great location - close to downtown old Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods. Would stay again.

Perfect Stay

We had the best time at this wonderful house! Our family of 5 (ages 9-13) loved the time here - the house was a great size, wonderful layout (just be careful of your head when using the staircase) and so many basic supplies provided (toilet paper, hand towels, soaps, detergents, etc). Plus the location to all of the main CO Spring attractions was perfect (Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Olympic Museum). We spend our nights in the backyard playing games - great set up. Would most definitely stay here again!

Perfect House and Location

My family and I had an amazing time with “Garden of the Gods” within walking distance, Old Colorado City with good food and shopping, and Manitou City with shopping and the Penny Arcades. We had a great stay at this house and we would come back here again and stay. Also! Deer and Horses nearby and the Big Horn Sheep that hang out at the Garden of the Gods-Amazing!

Mountain Oasis

Great Location. One of the nicest outdoor spaces you will find, complete with a waterfall for a pleasant ambiance. Indoor space is cozy, and has been very well renovated. Modern bathroom with a spacious walk in shower. Full size kitchen, and beautifully designed. Bedrooms were comfortable, clean and plenty of pillows for relaxing. Full size washer and dryer for your families travel needs.

One of the best VRBO's

My son and I were in Manitou to visit a friend of his. It is even better than the pictures. We felt so comfortable and the home was CLEAN. I usually have to do a little cleaning before I feel comfortable. We really loved the decor and how useable everything was. The appliances all worked and we truly did not have to go out and buy toilet paper, paper towels, etc.. Will definitely stay there again.

Warm and peaceful

We got there Friday night after learning hours before that my mother had passed away. What a homey and peaceful place to come to with no issues. It brought comfort in a distressed time. All to get ready for our sons wedding in Manitou in 2 days. Only real downside was the one bathroom (which is bigger than our bathrooms at home and beautiful, loved the heated floor) but it was workable and no view of the mountains. But, the peaceful backyard was a treat in the morning and evening!! We would certainly book Laurel Retreat again!!

Amazing property and Amazing Location

This property is absolutely amazing we had the best Christmas vacation ever from the location to the scenery the deer the amenities in the house the cleanliness the host etc. Took my entire family here for Christmas vacation this year the house was amazing from the beds to the fireplaces the tvs the beds the kitchen th3 modernized amenities of the house the heated floor in bathroom the backyard was amazing the location was beyond excellent literally in the garden of gods almost we can't say enough good things the house had everything we needed from paper towels cups soaps towels kitchen utensils pans plates cooking supplies etc and we used it.all.this was literally like being at home.but better and on vacation lol. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

So clean!

We absolutely loved our family vacation in Colorado Springs! The house was a perfect size for our family of five and very clean! Our daughter has a severe nut allergy so we need a home with a functioning kitchen and this was it! Fully loaded kitchen with dishes, pots, pans and all cooking utensils- even including the little things you often forget like seasonings, oils and sugar! Flying in was also made easy with all bedding, paper products and soaps provided! Location was perfect- so close to every attraction we visited. The average drive was under 30 minutes for most things- the furthest we ventured was Mueller state park and even that was only about 40 minutes away. The house really is walking distance to some of the Garden of the Gods trailheads and we loved our evening walks. Thanks for everything Jenny, we had a perfect stay!
