Lake life at its best with an outdoor kitchen, hot tub, boat dock with sun deck and lift. Gather around the fire pit in the evenings. Our quiet cove is a no wake zone that's safe for swimming, paddling and rafting. The bass love our little corner along with other lake fish. Location, property and Property Manager all met our expectations

Mr. McKee was a wonderful help to make our vacation as pleasant as possible. He was very responsive to our many questions. The extra of having the pontoon and kayaks available added to the lake experience.

The house was exactly as advertised. Great space for us with 3 families, (6 adults, 2 infants)

Great space in the house. Spent a lot of time fishing on the dock, lots of bluegill, turtles and a few catfish. I do not believe it is a deep cove. Nice walk to the "club", neighbors were very friendly. The house could use a deep cleaning (dusty) but acceptable. Overall, a great week. Thank you Dennis.

Quiet and Relaxing!

We loved the house and the amenities it offered. It had everything we needed with plenty of space for the 6 of us. The parents stayed upstairs and the teens stayed downstairs. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the dock was great for fishing! There was easy access to the lake - this house is not up on a hill with lots of steps. We brought our own boat and kept it at the dock wish was really convenient. The house is situated at the end of a narrow cove, so we decided not to float around the water there, but the neighborhood pool was very nice with an area for lake swimming.

Annual Family Trip

The layout and size of the house was perfect for our family. There are plenty of outdoor areas to hang out and enjoy the scenery. Deer even came to the house during feeding time. The outdoor shower was refreshing. The reason for a 4 instead of a 5 was the cleanliness of the house/property upon arrival. I would recommend bringing extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee for a drip maker(no keurig) and plastic cutlery, (there were only 6 forks.). The beds were comfy with pillow toppers and extra blankets/pillows in the closets. The dock was perfect for docking our boat and the kids enjoyed swimming in the cove. We brought and used our own kayaks, but there are two available for use near the dock. There is also a table and some chairs at the dock as well as a second level with a few chairs. There is a wonderful fire pit area with plenty of seating.

Not the best experience for a first time VRBO experience

We arrived, and the house was cute, and as described. It was serine, on the lake, and plenty of room so no one was on top of each other.. As we settled in, we noticed a few things. Cob webs everywhere, no cushions for seats outside, kayaks with no paddles, hot tub smelled of rotten fish and was green, thought we rented the boat, but realized we did not..good thing, because steering was not working. Which I found out after contacting the owner.. Trash from outside smelled as though it hadn't been taken out in over a month. When we left, it was a disappointment not to be able to enjoy the lake, or the hot tub. I dont believe the house was professionally cleaned,,we found dirty bed sheets in the washer and dryer.. We didn't feel we should have to do someone else laundry. We found 3 maujuanna joints on the deck and patio outside...not kid friendly. We could have stayed home and watched TV for the price we paid. Next time we know better and to ask alot of questions before renting from VRBO. When we left, as requested, we did our part in Cleaning the kitchen, washing our towels and folding them, pulling all the linens from the beds, and took all the trash out.

Family fun for all!

Enjoyed home - kayak, hot tub, pool nearby, fishing off dock, relaxing on porch,corn hole, pool table, owner very responsive, and comfortable beds. Dog friendly, patio with gates and shaded. Definitely met needs of large family gathering. Will come again with boating license.

Great Family Place to Stay by the Lake

Our family of eight had a great time at Lake Gaston staying at Dennis’s place. Communication was spot-on. The house was roomy enough for my adult children to have their own space, but comfy and cozy. We enjoyed being a few steps from the lake, grilling on the small Blackstone, and family time indoors and out.

Memorial Day weekend

We had a great stay! There were 8 adults and 3 kids and we all slept comfortably. House is in a great location. Dennis was very responsive and kind. Being able to rent the pontoon is a definite bonus. Would love to come back!

Thanksgiving

Wanted a change of scenery for Thanksgiving. Kitchen was great for cooking and proximity to grocery store about 5 min away was perfect for those last minute ingredients. Kids loved the ping pong and pool table. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds and we had plenty of room to spread out. Would stay here again.

So very pleased

House was perfect for our family and friends and our 2 wonderful dogs, want to thank Dennis for sharing his awesome home with us for a few days, the size of the home was perfect everybody had their own bed including the 2 extra 10 year old classmates my Granddaughter invited, could not have been better, conversations with Dennis were the best, sorry if we were a pest, LOL, see ya next year for sure

Overall great stay. Only major issue was dryer stopped working. Owner was responsive and tried to fix but was unable.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay & found the outdoor deck to be our favorite place. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had a good layout. Our granddaughter greatly enjoyed the community pool & playground.

Great Stay!

The home was set up well. Downstairs, bedrooms, hot tub, Pool table, ping pong, bar, TV, awesome time. Upstairs, bedrooms, kitchen, TV, deck, grill, used it all. Boat dock with the ability to rent owners pontoon boat, we did. The boat really put the cherry on top of our stay.

Hi, I didn’t actually stay, but my friends who stayed said it was awesome.There were a few things she pointed out. Something About the door knob Being Very loose on the back door, garbage Disposal making A grinding Noise, and fireplace could Potentially be out of Propane. Apparently, the first night they lit the fire, But last night could not Get The Fire To ligjt
