Ok but not good
The first thing I always do with this type of property is go inside and check the property. I look for requests from the owner, cleanliness, contact info, damage, etc. When I walked through this property there were a couple of issues. It is listed as a king and a queen, but had a king and a bunkbed. The king size bed was not able to be slept in as it still had what I can only describe as body hair on the sheets and comforter. Quite a bit of it, unfortunately. There was also damage to the coffee table leg. So I attempted to contact the property manager via the means left at the property, by text and phone, leaving a voicemail as well, to discuss these issues. Access to laundry was mentioned in the posting so I had hoped we could just wash the bedding. However the property manager never contacted me back through my entire stay, so my wife and I were left to sleep on the couches while my mother slept on the bottom of the bunk bed. Other than those issues it was ok. Kitchen appliances worked and we were able to cook breakfast, we were able to stay warm enough and once we connected to wifi we had entertainment. It was just extremely unfortunate that the property manager did not contact us back, It ruined our special trip not having a bed to sleep in.
