This charming two-story cottage is just a short walk from La Jolla village's iconic shopping and dining. Even though you'll be a short walk to the ocean's edge and only about a 15-minute walk to downtown La Jolla - where you can find some great shopping options and eateries - make sure to bring your car because you'll want to check out all the popular sights of La Jolla and nearby San Diego. A 20-minute drive will take you to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, and Sea World is even closer!

The first floor has a newly renovated kitchen with granite counters and a gas range. The bedroom with a queen-sized bed and updated bathroom are also on the main level. The second story has the living area and the walk-out patio which has great neighborhood views. There are air conditioning units in the living room and bedroom.

Great location, very clean .

We had a three nights stay and it was a very pleasant stay. The house was very clean when we walked in, location was great for eateries, beach access etc . We loved the upstairs terrace , a perfect place to sit and end the day , enjoying wine . The only downside was the Wi-Fi , the signal was not that strong. Overall I wound recommend anyone to stay here. A very happy customer.

comfortable not luxurious

The two story unit has a light filled upper room with comfortable pull out couch. The bathroom and bedroom are quite small and a little dark but do their job with nice linens. The kitchen space worked for us but we didn’t cook much. The location is wonderful and enabled us to walk everywhere we needed to go.

Short stay

We’d originally planned to stay eight days, but left early due to a family emergency. That being said, we would have left early anyway. Not to be harsh, but the bedroom/ kitchen space were extremely small. My husband is 6’4” and 230 lbs. I’m small, but even so the bedroom was extreme small. We had to keep switching our luggage from unit to car to save space.

Great La Jolla location for walking

Location was amazing if you like to walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Convenient parking with the unit, safe and quaint.

Great location

Perfect location for LJ. Close to everything, but quiet location. Cozy and just what we needed/wanted. Will definitely book again! Great access to local areas and the parking spot was fantastic!

Bishops Brilliance

This is a reasonably comfortable place for a short stay in La Jolla. It is in an ideal location - a short distance from the ocean, restaurants, and shops, but on a quiet back-lane. The bed is comfortable, and the upstairs sitting dining area is pleasant. The place is managed by Vacasa, which provided the absolute, absolute bare minimum.

Great location with parking

Walk to the beach and all of La Jolla's restaurants. Comfortable bed, nice living area with good TV, and nice shower. Large parking area which easily fit my Suburban.

Good, Cheap Stay in La Jolla

Relative to the other places in La Jolla, this was a good place to set as a home base for a mid-length vacation. It's very close to the "downtown" area of La Jolla cove, and is a block away from a bus stop that can take you to the UCSD area, and to Downtown San Diego. I had no issues with the management staff itself, and everything went smoothly. But, the place is definitely missing a lot of elements that I think most rentals should have. The oven didn't work when we got there, the bathroom fan didn't function, and there was no central heating (though this is only an issue in the dead of winter in SD). It would have been nice to have a few more utensils like a pizza cutter, and maybe some free coffee in the pantry, and a couple more blankets for the pull-out couch upstairs. But overall, relative to the price of other units in the area, it's a good pick if you'll be out of the house for most of your stay.

Great Little Place

We enjoyed our short stay! The only thing I would change is the rug in the kitchen which is an outdoor rug. We felt safe staying here. The parking spot was great and I appreciated the lock on the fence and front door. We loved how close the grocery store was and the places to eat; we could have walked. I recommend the Taco Stand and Bernini's Bistro so delicious. We would stay here again. Thank you

Not the best trip waste of money

There was 3 rotten hard ham burgers in the sofa bed when pulling it out there's no privacy bare windows the shower head was broken water shot out everywhere broke my new phone unit is hot as hell and doesn't come with fans I was told by vacasa first night a ticket will be put in for the shower head and fans and never got anything

Awesome Stay!

Great place! Clean, tidy, nice location, awesome parking space, and deck off the living room. Perfect for a couple (bedroom’s bed is sooo comfy)….and a plus one if you’re close to them/family. It’s a super comfy couch and it’s on a separate level. My only recommendation (as a suitcase traveler) is to have an iron in the unit. There’s an ironing board but no iron😞 That’s all I will definitely be back!!!!

Fay cottage

What a chill spot. Perfect for a couple wantin some space (indoor and outdoor) to spend at and jus a few mins from the water. Awesome rooftop patio for those cool nights. Im Definitely going back there to stay. Great location and house. Upstairs you can Netflix and chill. Nothin I didn't love about it.
