Visit to HWS

My son was visiting HWS. This property is right next to campus. It is exactly as advertised. Communication was easy and the property was very clean ( my favorite ). There was some college kid noise on Saturday night but that added to the flavor of a college visit. Would stay again.

Everything was just as described. I would rent again if looking to use Geneva as a central spot for touring the region or enjoying the Hobart campus.

Close to college!

We came to Geneva to attend an open house at HWS. The house was right across the street from the school and close to a variety of restaurants and vineyards. Communcation was great and check in/out was easy.

Great place

Great stay, the place is great and comfortable, Karen is a good communicative house. Nice location, walkable. You'll get some student noise on party nights, but nothing that's a big deal.

The house is in a great location, close to the Waterfront, and restaurants. We are a 65+ group and we had to take it slow on the stairs, would have appreciated a handrail on the right side on the upper stairs. We loved the character of the old house and a nice neighborhood. We will keep in mind for our next Finger Lakes Vacation.

Great long weekend

We spent 3 nights in Geneva. This home was in a great location. It was a short walk into town and to the lake. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The home was very clean and spacious. Thank you for being pet friendly. This was our first vacation where we brought our dog. He could go to all the wineries and we had a great time. Geneva is centrally located to go to attractions on both sides of the lake. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the Finger Lakes.

Perfect HWS Rental in Geneva NY

Rented the house for college graduation stay of 3 nights. Priced way better than a hotel and got to experience college aged neighbors lives. Walked easily to graduation but house has a parking spot off street. Owner was so kind to let us do a last minute late check out. Clean, old village style house yet modern inside. Walked to downtown so I could have a few drinks. Loved it!!!

Eclipse Get Away

Stayed in Geneva for the solar eclipse. The clouds did not cooperate but we enjoyed the close distance to town and the grocery store. Visiting the local coffee shop was a pleasure. Spending the weekend reminded me of my college days. The owner treated us great! We hope to come back!

Finger lake region

We visited several wineries, had a great time, the place was convenient to shopping, stores, etc. we are an elderly couple, so the stairs were a challenge, but we loved the house!

Great home base for a wedding weekend

We had our wedding in Geneva and this was our home base! It had everything we needed with a spacious living room area where we got ready and comfy beds. Very quick walk to the local coffee shop and convenient to drive to the nearby wineries. Highly recommend!

Stay in Geneva while visiting Ithaca

I love old houses so this property was right for us. The house was very clean and comfortable. Close to downtown. Nice neighborhood. The only thing I wish it had was a bannister on the railing that went all the way up to the second floor. I have some trouble navigating stairs and of course the only bathroom is on the top floor. Thanks to the owner for communicating so well.

Great spot for Winery/Brewery around Seneca Lake

The house was perfect. If you love historical charm this had the charm and modern amenities! Its a great location, close to downtown Geneva, Grocery (Wegmans is a must try for those who never have..) This is our first trip to FLX. We came for the Wineries and Breweries but were pleasantly surprised by all the other things! Hector falls, 40 min drive is worth pulling off the road to get a picture! Watkin Glens was a nice hike and beautiful scenery and waterfalls. Rusty Pig in downtown Geneva is amazing! Try the pierogi!!

If I could give this10 stars I would!!

I was more than pleasantly surprised at the home, cleanliness, amenities that were there, it was just like being home!! All you need is groceries, and you are set. It was very close to lots of wineries, walking distance to town, Seneca lake, grocery stores etc. Very nice neighborhood.

Perfect Location

We were in town for a wedding and this house was centrally located to all the venues we needed to be at. 5 of us were more than comfortable in this house. It was clean, adequately stocked with the necessities. Karen was incredibly quick and responsive with any questions we had. The only additional thing that would’ve been helpful for our getting ready for a wedding purposes, is if there were mirrors in each bedroom, but we made it work. We enjoyed the beautiful weekend in Geneva/ Seneca Lake. Monaco’s was a great coffee shop around the corner. Headed into town for shopping and lunch, went to a few wineries/ breweries on Seneca Lake, enjoyed rehearsal dinner at the beautiful Geneva on The Lake and wedding reception at Belhurst Castle. Everything was a 5 min drive away. Thank you Karen also for the nice treats on the coffee table when we arrived. It was a nice extra touch! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Good location and Room

Lovely property for my husband and I. More than enough room, clean, soft towels, and great walking to town and around lovely homes near college. Small problems with working TV and washer that were immediately dealt with by host. Great communication. Portable air conditioners in each room that worked well and house near grocery store for home meals. Thank you for a nice stay.

Cute Victorian House in Geneva

This is a cute, old Victorian house! Yes, the floors and stairs creaked…but the WIFI was strong and the shower had good water pressure. One late, weekend night we heard some of the neighbors having fun, but besides that it was a very quiet neighborhood. And so close to everything Geneva has to offer: the lake, grocery stores, the college field, fast food and restaurants.
