Thank you for that nice review especially related to the landscaping. My wife takes all the credit for that. We are not exactly sure what you mean by the “difficult for older adults and children to maneuver on the outside areas”. The yard slops very gradually down from the house to the waters edge. If you had been more specific, we would have been happy to address your concerns. Still, we are happy you all had a fun and relaxing stay.

Thank you for that nice compliment. We found that vacationing in new surroundings comes with lots of questions, from where is the best place to eat to where is the light switch in the bathroom. You are fantastic guests and thank you for that detailed and wonderful review. We do offer our guests a number of things to do, two kayaks with life jackets, his and her mountain bikes, water toys, fishing equipment for two, indoor and outdoor games plus a lot more. But still, it is the peacefulness and relaxing atmosphere we love the most, as do all of our other guests, as well. Our neighbors are respectful of our guest’s time knowing you are on vacation. So, again, thank you and you are welcome back any time.

The house is, and the yard, are right on the water and is very well situated for anyone wanting to bring their own boat or rent one at a local Marina, that I have an arrangement with, to provide our guests with a discount off the price of a boat rental. We do apologize for the circuit breaker popping that is related to the air conditioner in the master bedroom. The excessive heat wave in the region and any additional plugs in that circuit, the electrician told us, contributed to the circuit continuing popping. Since your stay we have replaced the AC Unit, and upgraded the circuit panel. Thank you and your family for your patience with this matter and again, our apologies. Mike

Thank you for acknowledging the amenities, we do offer our guests many options. I do however question your comments regarding the floors. I do not want future guests who read your comment to think there might be an issue. As I mention, the home was built in 1900, which is a big part of its charm, so yes, as would be expected, there is some settling, but certainly not to the extent of there being a challenge. Maybe you are referring to the 3 inch step down to the Bonus/Family room? or maybe, the 3 inch step down to the Master Bedroom? I also cannot reconcile the rating you offered while also wanting to stay again. So, I hope, ultimately, you enjoyed your stay and in retrospect, all things considered, any issue you may have had to be insignificant.
