Looking for a perfect family vacation? Enjoy this large family home in Tahoe City. This inviting home features all the Tahoe favorites, with a fireplace in the living room, several bedrooms, large deck, close proximity to Skylandia beach, bike trails and close access to prime mountain resorts.

The spacious home has plenty of room to roam, with six bedrooms and a large layout you will find your own space to relax, or come together as a whole in the large living room next to the fireplace. You will also enjoy the warmth of the nice south facing deck both summer and winter with your morning cup of coffee or book.

On the upper floor, you'll find the primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom, two additional bedrooms and a hall bathroom. The lower floor has 3 additional bedrooms, and two more bathrooms.

Parking:
Parking is available for 5 cars total. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 12 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Overall impression on the property was phenomenal. Spacing was great for a party of 13. Tahoe City was close by and was a pleasant strip to visit. Home is just as described, even though there wasn’t an AC it kept cool without the unit downstairs. Neighborhood was very calm, about a 15-20 minute walk to the non-private beach.

Family gathering

Comfortable and roomy place. A bit on the shabby side considering what we paid.Pros: rental company is great to work with, easy check-in, big & comfortable place with beautiful views in a great location. Kitchen is big and well-stocked.Cons: 1) Listing accuracy. We got the impression that we would have some access to the lake given the pictures. Not true - the house is on the other side of the road from the lake. There is no nearby beach access as the one down the road does not allow short-term renters (31 days) access. See photo.2) The interior is outdated and shades / fixtures are all on the shabby side. 3) There are references to a hot tub in the listing and reviews and we did not see a hot tub nor instructions for it.4) The grill had two gas tanks - both empty. I'm sure the company would have gotten one for us if we asked but we found this out at 5pm; I drove to the Safeway nearby (5 mins) and picked one up.

Family gathering

This house feels like a home. It was so wonderful to be in a large kitchen and sitting around a long table, plenty of room for everyone. 2 living room areas, a deck, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very well stocked kitchen, relaxing hot tub under the stars, gas bbq and gas fire pit, trails for walking/ bike riding,just a block or two away

Epic Location, Spacious and Comfortable

This is a spacious house with an epic view of Lake Tahoe, conveniently located near various beaches and restaurants. We had three families sharing the space and are all looking forward to returning again.

Edgewater July 2024

The inside of the house was not as clean as we expected. The railing on the deck was not secure and posed a danger to our young children. The towels and shower curtains in the bathrooms were either dirty or old and stained. The location of the house is great but the inside does not match the neighborhood or stand up to the surrounding houses. The interior of the house was shabby and not well maintained. This house needs some upkeep. We are regular VRBO customers and this was the most disappointing rental we have every experienced. We would NOT recommend this rental to anyone.

Great stay!

My coworkers and I booked this VRBO and it was conveniently located on the water with great views. Everyone was able to get their own room, which was a plus. Parking was also convenient since it is in front of the house with minimal shoveling needed - even given the recent storms. We also didn't run into any issues during the stay - we will definitely book this VRBO again next year!

Nice but old

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was outdated and did not have proper locks on deck doors and windows. Very dusty and old but provided plenty of bedding and towels. Overall great location but needs updating.

Lake Tahoe

The house is older and outdated and the pictures online are a bit deceiving. The living room is separate from the kitchen and the kitchen is super small. The sliding doors in the living room were a bit on the rough side. I like that the master room downstairs had its own AC unit. There's 3 rooms upstairs and 3 rooms downstairs. Overall, our stay was nice and we enjoyed each other's company.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was extremely pricy for what it offers. It is pretty old Construcrion, the pictures are deceptive. The house was very cold downstairs compared to upstairs, so if you are sleeping downstairs you will be very cold especially at night or if you are warm , people upstairs will be extremely hot, a very inefficient system. Location of the property is great, but does not deserve the rent charges.

NEVER rent with this agency

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house from the owner a year ago and loved the house. We rented it again for the following year, but in the course of the year, the owner switched from VRBO to this agency. The agency decided to decrease the number of beds, which we discovered upon arrival. Instead of 4 twin beds in the kids' room, there were 2 queen beds. We have a group of 15 people and a record of leaving houses clean (we always have good reviews on Airbnb and VRBO).There was a leak in one of the master bedrooms and a leak in the laundry room. When we left the house, we cleaned the best we could, put away laundry and dishes, even cleaned the fireplace and the dishwasher filter (which had not been cleaned in years). The cleaning crew (Luxury Cleaning), which already charges $380 for cleaning, dragged some trash we had not left out into the middle of the floor, took pictures and charged us an extra $140.In sum, the house is nice, the rental agency is NOT. I do not recommend it. Stick with VRBO and Airbnb.Check out Tahoe Rental Company on Yelp. Apparently, we are not the only ones who were overcharged.
