SUP and Hike

Four generations of my family met at this house for vacation together. They came from Oregon and Idaho and were able to use the SUP and kayak that were provided without having to rent. My sister and I SUP every morning for two hours in glassy conditions. We were able to paddle to Watermans Landing in Carnelian Bay the first day, paddled to Kings Beach the second day and paddled to Stateline Point, Nevada the third day. There are miles of hiking trails right across the road from the house. My sister and I did a five mile hike without having to drive anywhere, walked right from the house to North Tahoe Regional Park and hiked the Lakeview trail to get wide view of the lake. Easy access to Tahoe City to get in the Tahoe Gal sightseeing boat that took us to Emerald Bay. Safeway is minutes away to buy grocery and BBQ at house. We ate on the pier table, we had lunch at the picnic area that is in front of the fishing cabin and we had dinner at the BBQ area by the house, so there are three different outside eating areas with plenty of chairs. No need to bring your own chairs. Kitchen provides everything you need to cook and store food. We played games together at the large dining room table and beach towels are provided too. We were able to swim and see the local wild life. On the property are geese, mink, beavers and fish/ crayfish. Yoga on the pier at sunrise while the lake is quiet is enjoyable. I was happy to have an easy place to launch my SUP.

Great vacation

We love this house!! Perfect for 2 families, well stocked and beautiful views. You won’t find a better location/dock or hosts. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing house right on lake - winter wonderland

We stayed over Presidents' Day weekend and have an amazing time. The house was clean, well stocked kitchen and had everything we needed for two large families. The location and views of lake were wonderful. Our kids played right in the snow right outside the back door, they had sleds to use and we were centrally located to Tahoe City, Incline Village and Northstar for outings. Also, the owners were very prompt in providing directions and answering questions. Highly recommend.

Good experience

The owner is very nice and easy to communicate.Especially like the bed upper stair, there are options adjust the firm level, one washer and two dryers. Also some slide board is prepared. Very nice and convenient for family and friends to stay.

Tahoe visit

This house was the perfect location for our Tahoe getaway. We really enjoyed the large dock and use of kayaks. The hosts communicated throughout the process and made it an enjoyable experience.

Great family vacation

Fantastic host and home for our 3 generation family vacation. Wonderful location on the lake; loved the convenience of walking down to the dock where we could all gather. Kayaks, SUP, floties, sunbathing, swimming, all made our days fun and relaxing. Best supplied home we have stayed in (plenty of silverware,appliances, plates, food storage, refer/freezer, games, towels, etc.). Kitchen lay-out perfect for meal prep and still being able to interact with family. Location close to restaurants, beaches, rentals, hiking, & market.could not have been a better vacation!

A Spectacular Property for a Beautiful Family Vacation

We have raised our kids, and now grandkids, coming to Tahoe every summer, and this is by far the most beautiful home we have rented and stayed in. The views of the lake from the back of the house are spectacular. The private pier is such a great place to gather, having coffee and breakfast in the mornings or relaxing after a day in the sun with cocktails. The home is immaculate and there is plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything we could need or want. Amenities are great. The property is lush and green leading down to the lake, much like a beautiful oasis. We all enjoyed picking cherries from the 2 cherry trees! Lisa is a fantastic host, so helpful and quick to answer any of our questions. We had the most wonderful family vacation and can’t wait to come back next summer to create more memories!

Nice Summer Location

First I’d like say, Beautiful location and private pier gives this place a 5 ⭐! Basic needs amenities. It’s a perfect location for summer not so much winter. We would definitely rent again!! only one casino (that we found) in area. Resorts are close but not much more to do. South shore is about 35-40 mins making it pretty stressful to drive while it’s snowing. We tried, it was ruff and scary. As for host, great communication prior to arriving and leaving, but not while we were there. I texted and called Lisa about having issues getting into the house using key pad and key pad not locking, no response. Luckily we figured it out. When we arrived, a guy “The ex-husband”came over and said he was there to see who was renting the house. It was a tad uncomfortable since we weren’t told we would be “watched”. Not a big issue, just weird. I didn’t like that For towels and paper products, blankets, you need to contact host for more. The house has big enough cabinets to supply house with enough for the amount of people renting the place. We were 12 with 12 bath towels for 4 nights and 5 days. So we HAD to wash. Last, the bed sheets in 2 bdr were stained, big yellowish spot and ink with yellow stain on another. Luckily we didn’t sleep in the sheets. I took my own sheets and blankets (my own personal preference) and placed on top of house blankets. Thank goodness I did! I only noticed because on last night I was fixing the bed. All bdr need cable! They currently do not.

Wonderful time on the most beautiful lake!

The property is perfectly appointed so that the dock gets full sun for most of the day. There are sandy coves and rocky walls that are perfect for finding crawdads. Funny enough, fishing for crawdads was the main attraction for our group! The house is very well laid out and comfortable. You aren't on top of eachother so if you need to duck into you room for a nice nap or rest you can do so without the noises of the whole house reaching you. The kitchen had everything we needed to makes snacks and dinners and was a lovely central gathering place. We had such a fantastic time and can't wait to come back very soon!

Great Location, Great House, Wonderful Host!

Our group of eight adults stayed for five days and had a wonderful time. From the beginning through our last day, the host, Lisa, was prompt in responding to our questions and very accommodating to our requests. Throughout the process, she responded to texts and messages within 24 hours. The house was plenty big enough for all 8 of us. The best aspect of the property was the lake access, and specifically, the dock. We spent every morning and every evening together there. As the house is very close to a fairly busy road, I was worried about road noise. This was not an issue at all. I never heard the road while in the house. There's a large back yard leading to the lake and dock, so we felt like we had our own isolated, quiet piece of paradise while on the dock or in the water. The house and host helped make our summer family vacation a fantastic experience.

Excellent home

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. This house rates at the top. Location and views are wonderful. Beautiful dock on the lake. And the house is in great shape and incredibly stocked with everything u would want. Amenities were top notch

Well stocked cabin!

This was a very well stocked house and Lisa was such a great host. She was so responsive and helpful! Tip: house is older so walls are a bit thin. Noise travels. So ear plugs are helpful if you’re a light sleeper But regardless was a great stay!

Perfect holiday home

The house is big and spacious with 2 bedrooms on the first floor (queen and two single beds) and 1 bathroom + 4 more bedrooms (queen size) and 2 more bathrooms on the second floor. You have lake Tahoe view from from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms upstairs and a private pier access. The kitchen is incredible well stocked. We stayed during winter months and the central heating system does a great. Smooth and easy check-in and communication with property owner/manager. We would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Memorable Labor Day Weekend!

My family enjoyed the property tremendously. The pictures are accurate! The location is amazing and the amenities are all you could hope for on a property on the lake. My nieces and nephews ( ages 10-17) swam, used the floaties. My sister and I used the kayaks and paddle board. And the kitchen is great! One of the better appointed kitchens I’ve stayed in as far as VRBO. And we like to cook. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Great stay in Tahoe

The house was perfect for our group of 10. Plenty of space and the private dock / lake access was so nice! Lisa was very easy to coordinate check in / check out and quickly followed up when we had questions about our stay. Definitely recommend this rental for any groups looking for a comfortable stay while enjoying the lake!

Great Beachfront House

Perfect house for a lake weekend. Located close to town and many hiking trails the house was great. Owner was very responsive and the house had everything we needed. Definitely would rent again.
