Lovely property, manicured gardens with tall sunflowers, beautiful roses, zinnias, cone flowers, a private lawn area with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. the Sunny Side (great name) accommodation was thoughtfully appointed with everything humans and dogs might need. thanks for a great Vermont welcome.

My daughter and I enjoyed this cute and quaint little half cottage in a perfect location between White River Junction and Woodstock. The well stocked kitchenette with electric appliances was perfect for making small, simple meals. The patio off the main entrance was lovely for coffee in the morning. While it is safely away from the highway, there is road noise during peak hours and if there are guests staying in the other part of the cottage, you may be aware of their presence.

Dartmouth parent weekend stay

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful stay! Lucille's home was filled with special touches all around and had everything we needed and more. Her property is beautiful with a garden I could spend every day out in. Her pets were adorable. So peaceful and a great location. Lucille was a great host! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Cozy Retreat

Beautifully appointed one bedroom apartment with every amenity. Attached to main house with a separate entrance. Very warm in the coldest temperatures,...super comfortable bed. We had a great stay!

Relaxing spot in the woods

We had a wonderful 4 days staying at Sunny Side. The apartment was private with a small deck, garden, and fire pit area. There is a bit of noise from the nearby road when the windows are open, but not too distracting. The kitchenette has a key rig and French press coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, electric skillets.

Queeche Gorge area

The unit was cute and basically had all you may need. Climate control was an issue, more attention could be paid to bathroom cleanliness and the water pressure in the bathroom shower is incredibly awful.

Clean, Cute and Comfortable

We enjoyed our mini vacation at Lucille's suite. The two rooms are both spacious and comfortable, while the small deck overlooks lawn, gardens and natural areas. Quite pretty. Traffic can be heard - but not seen - out on the deck. The location is very convenient to area attractions, restaurants, covered bridges, etc.

Great Property

This was a great property in a nice location. Right off the highway but buffered by trees so it felt like you were further way. Centrally located. My only recommendation would be for a gas grill for cooking. Cooking was a challenge. Otherwise the house/kitchen were well stocked with nice amenities. This was a very cozy place. The owners were very responsive. Check-in and out was super easy. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property!

Never Again

We went through VRBO. And was supposed to have a place to stay. They comfirmed It and told us the door wascunlocked and the jey was on the kitchen table. Upon arriving someone already had the room and we had to go searching for another pkace to stay the night.cost us double to find a place to stay the night because we were there for the balloon fest and hotels were all booked. I will never book thtough VRBO again.. very Disappointed.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Sunny Side. Lucille is a gracious hostess. Clean and comfortable space with lots of little extras. The gardens in September were spectacular. Close to lots places to explore in VT and NH. Our dog enjoyed himself too.

Check in was a breeze. Very clean and comfortable and cozy. Many thoughtful touches like a coffee and tea bar and a beautiful kitty greeted us as we checked in. I would highly recommend this rental and will definitely stay again when in the area.

Cute apartment in nature

Lucille’s apartment is tucked away in the woods just up the road from many attractions. It’s cozy, clean and had everything I needed for a couple of nights’ stay. She is a great host. The location was convenient to the King Arthur baking complex.
