Welcome to Baden Bear Den, a cozy, family-friendly vacation rental brimming with desirable amenities and located next to the Tahoe Donner Nature Loop. Inside this delightful, three-bedroom home, you'll find a well-equipped, full kitchen with plenty of cabinets and counter space for cooking your favorite meals. Dine at the nearby extendable table for eight or gather around for family game nights. The living area is warmed by a wood stove and also features a smart, 55" flatscreen TV for streaming your favorite channels along with a fun game console. And outside, enjoy the fresh air from your spacious deck.

A great cabin

Clean and Easy

Some things you expect when you stay at a rental property like clean bathrooms, kitchen, sheets and towels. Of course, this house is clean! Then there are those things that just make a stay easier and more fun…a kitchen with working useful items, labeled light and other switches, an easy entertainment system without 4 different remotes, outdoor lights that come on when you are unfamiliar with your surroundings, toys and games, and being able to park your car and enter in the garage out of the snow. These are the things that make this house a step above others!

Perfect for Family Fun

This property has everything a family needs for a relaxing weekend get away in the snow. Of course there was lots of snow, but the place came equipped with all the tools to clear the snow out of the way, and the kids had fun helping out. The only thing I can think of to make it a little better is an enclosed yard (so when your dog wakes you up in the middle of the night you don’t have to go out in the cold). Check-in and check-out was easy. Would recommend!

Great location in Tahoe Donnerp, with access to a scenic trail right next to the house. Cozy home was perfect for our family.

Kid and Pet friendly Cabin

The cabin was clean, updated, open floor plan, equipped with games for kids and in a great location. You have access to amenities like the pool and beach but there is a daily fee of $17 per person, which we didn’t realize. The price includes access to amenities for one day only, so we had to plan accordingly. Not a big deal because we had a great time at the beach /pool but would have been helpful to know upfront. Overall we had a great family vacation and would definitely stay here again. The home is a real gem and offers a great family vibe.

Snowy Weekend Away

The house was so warm and inviting, the board game wall was heavily utilized, the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking, and the area around the house was amazing for tobogganing! Can’t wait to stay again soon!

Beautiful and cozy vacation stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Baden Bear Den. The kitchen was well stocked and loved the variety of family friendly games, books and entertainment options in the house. Beds were comfy and the trundle beds were so useful for families with young kids. We also loved using the sled. Was a wonderful place to getaway and hope to be back in the future. The hosts thought of all the little details and it shows.

Perfect stay in Tahoe

We stayed here as a group of 4 girls for a weekend, but the place could easily accommodate bigger groups and families. The place was super clean and most furnishings seemed new. There were many nice touches we noticed and appreciated, like the Dyson heaters in the bedrooms, the air purifier downstairs, the motion sensor lights on the stairs, and the USB chargers mounted next to the beds in the upstairs bedroom. As for the location, there’s a nice trail straight from the backyard which was nice. There’s also a restaurant within the community that we went to for dinner one night which was surprisingly good and also super convenient. We would be lucky to be back here!
