Härligt Mountain Home, Kid and Dog vänligt

Detta är ett vackert bergshem i High Sierras, inbäddat på cirka sex tusen fot. Vårt hem ligger i Tahoe Donner Association. Vi erbjuder oöverträffade gästfaciliteter året runt. När vi letade efter ett fritidshus visste vi att det var det från det ögonblick som vi gick in i ytterdörren!

Vi har ett bekvämt, fullt utrustat kök som är perfekt för underhållning. Vardagsrummet och matplatsen har tjugo meter högt välvt tak, med utsikt över statliga tallar. Vardagsrummet kompletteras av en vedspis (ved tillhandahålls) och en stor eldstad, med en bakre droppe flodrock klättrar på väggen. Vardagsrummet är utrustat med platt-TV, wifi, en videobandspelare och en stereo med kassett och CD-spelare.

Vårt hem har tre sovrum, ett sovrum på första våningen, med en platt-TV, wifi, vetter mot bakdäck och skogen bortom, och en queen-size säng. Ett andra sovrum på övervåningen är lätt och luftigt, med en queen-size säng, katedralen tak och utsikt över tallar, bluejays och ekorrar.

Vårt tredje sovrum är perfekt för extra gäster eller barn. Den är möblerad med två uppsättningar våningssängar (sover fyra), med en platt-TV, wifi och har katedraltak. Alla rum har generöst garderob. Det finns också kompletta badrum på första och andra våningen. Dessutom har vardagsrummet en queen-size dölj-en-säng som rymmer två.

Det generösa bakdäcket inkluderar ett picknickbord och en gasgrill under sommaren och hösten och vetter mot en lugn skog. Det främre däck kretsar runt huset och är bara gjorda för att sola sig eller dela en flaska vin och ha en god konversation medan man tittar på solen gå ner. Tillgången till vår privata strandklubb och småbåtshamnen vid den vackra sjön Donner ingår också med ditt gästkort. Du kommer inte bli besviken i detta fjällstuga!

Nice 3 bedroom house in mountain paradise

We visited for 3 days in the shoulder season between Ski season and Lake Tahoe water sports. Nice quaint town with gorgeous Mountain View’s.

Home like amenities

It was nice to stay at a VRBO that had things like spices, cooking supplies, and extra blankets. Not luxurious, but this place had what we needed and was clean for our family to stay here and enjoy Truckee.

Comfortable Cabin in Tahoe

Very comfortable cabin with more than enough room for three of us. Lots of privacy from the neighbors as well as each other. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again and next time bring the family.

Best of all worlds

All that Truckee and Tahoe has to offer is close, yet the location of the house is very serene so you can easily escape all the tourists if you want to, or easily join in the fun if you want to! Clubhouse privileges at Donner (particularly the pools) are a huge plus!

Convenient and Comfortable

As described! Convenient location in Tahoe Donner not too far into the neighborhood. Rooms were good sized. Nice natural light. Large deck on front and back. Very casual furnishings, linen, etc. We enjoyed our time. Thank you!

Great mountain cabin!

We stayed at this mountain home for Labor Day weekend with kids and a dog. The house is perfect - the kitchen had everything we needed, there were games for the kids, location is close to Truckee. Would definitely stay here again on future visits!

Great couple and dog vacation

Lovely house in quiet neighborhood with a fenced off back deck. First time for a garage which of course we didn’t need in June but what a treat for the winter visits! Would stay again!

One of the best

My husband and I have rented several properties for our vacations. This property by far is one of the best. Extremely clean, everything works, lots of room to store your things. As long as Cathy will have us this is our go to property in Tahoe.

Very nice relaxing stay

Had a nice relaxing stay here. Very quiet around the area. Internet wasnt 100% but couldve been due to all of the online schooling. The home was clean on arrival and kitchen was pretty well stocked.

Summer time fun

The cabin is very nice. We had my husband, myself, 2 teens and 2 grandparents. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy the cabin. We ate outside on the lovely deck. Great location we were able to visit. Truckee river, Reno for gambling and Tahoe lake for a full day of fun there. There is a convenient Safeway close to stock up. The house has a stocked kitchen. The stove is verrry outdated and hard for me to use. Thanks again for a fun time.

The cutest place!!!

Stayed here for 3 Nights Place was so cute and very clean, they provided extra towels and everything you would need in the kitchen. You could tell everything was clean. We absolutely love the location, very short drive to Donner Lake and close to shopping, definitely want to come back and stay again. thank you so much for letting us stay in your home it was the perfect short vacation for us!! Would love to stay again.

Granny’s Gathering

Wonderful homey cabin for the family. Plenty of room and beautiful area. Hiked to Donner Tunnels recommended. Day camping at State Park for $10 per car. Get there early, before 9.Thanks for all the extras provided. Just great!!!

Perfect cozy winter getaway

My family stayed here for a week and we were so happy with everything! The house is super cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 plus 2 dogs. Everything was clean and there were tons of extra blankets and towels. The kitchen was awesome and provided us with everything we needed to cook meals. The outdoor area was beautiful, lots of trees, very quiet and we went on a few peaceful nighttime walks down the street where we had views of the beautiful nights sky.

Rustic getaway

The property owner was great about making herself available to answer questions and got back to me very quickly. The house was spacious and comfortable. The location was awesome and the neighborhood was quiet and tranquil. We were there in summer, and the house is very close to one of the pools that guests can access. We had a great time!

Truckee Lovely Mountain Home, Kid and Dog friendly

Great cabin in the Truckee Donner area. All was as advertised. The little "cubby" area was great for child play. Access to the Truckee Donner pool and recreation spaces was fantastic. You also get a big discount on Coyote Moon and Tahoe Donner golf courses. The owner, Cathy, was very responsive to some questions we had when we first arrived. We will definitely stay here again.

Good value minutes away from everything

The Donner neighborhood is nice and quiet but is minutes away from all the lake activities and mountain biking activities and hiking and eating opportunities you could possibly want! A great bonus is clubhouse privileges where you have access to pools and exercises classes. House is nice and big and airy with lots of windows. My favorite is the real wood burning stove!

Truckee Getaway

This cabin was the perfect stay for us and our friends. Photos don’t do it justice! Very cozy home with plenty of room for 6 people (could easily fit a few more people comfortably). Cathy was very responsive. We loved the wood burning fireplace and lots of wood was provided. About 20 minutes from Northstar and lots of areas to snowshoe. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great place to getaway to the snow!

Wonderful home

My family of 5 (my husband and 3 young boys) loved this house and location. It was ideally situated with a large open level area in the back the boys could play in the snow while I could stay in and keep warm! The floor plan is also great with the bunk bed room and two additional queen bed rooms. Plenty of room for us. My 4 year old loved the "secret" room off the stairs too! The house is older and showing a bit of her age but it was clean and well stocked. The location is great, minutes from truckee and a safeway, we had a GREAT time here.

This home is in a perfect location. Surrounded by pines, close to fine restaurants, close to the Truckee river for white water rafting. It also has it's own downhill skiing within the Homeowners area. Squaw Valley and Boreal are just a couple of miles away. Great for a quick trip to Tahoe or Reno.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our family loves heading to the Recreation area in our Tahoe Donner community, just a couple of blocks from the house, whether it is summer or winter. Wonderful facilities include 3 hot tubs, huge family pool and a large lap pool, which is open year round. You can also get a massage or full workout all year round.
We also enjoy the woodsy trails that loop through our area. It is a nature lovers delight!
The quaint old town of Truckee is only a couple of miles away with lots of cute shops, galleries, wonderful cafes and restaurants.
