Great place

Wonderful place to stay! We stayed a week with our 2 kids ( 3 years and 1 year old). Quiet and nice neighborhood. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the small backyard with the grill. Grocery stores are very close and it was an easy drive (15 min) to downtown Charleston and Sullivan’s island. Host is very responsive

Fabulous home

Fabulous home! Great location, well stocked, comfortable, fun assortment of games and cards, outside fire place was a warm welcome to the chilly night air and a great place to relax after a busy day of sight seeing in the beautiful Charleston area.

Excellent stay during Charleston visit

Everything was at least as good as advertised. John was responsive from the start. He promptly answered several questions before we booked, checked in with us proactively after we arrived, and then responded promptly to questions during our stay. The location was perfect, as promised, in a quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant, right between the city of Charleston and the beaches of Sullivan's Island and Island of Palms. All were short Uber rides away - not critical to rent a car. And Shem's Creek was a 20-minute walk - a beautiful boardwalk, several restaurants, and dolphins in the harbor.The home was comfortable (great beds) and well-equipped. I especially liked the outdoor space. Nothing negative to say. We'd stay there again. John is an excellent host.

Great experience all-around

Our second stay in this apartment. One of the best-equipped properties we've rented (linens, kitchen, bathrooms). Soft but comfortable beds. Excellent layout on first floor. Very accessible and responsive host. Property as advertised, but we didn't use patio fireplace or grill because of weather.

Great house and location!

This house was a perfect fit for the four of us - husband and wife plus two friends. Very clean and updated. Backyard is a great space for hanging out. Perfect location to access Sullivan’s Island and Downtown Charleston. Would stay here again when visiting Charleston and the surrounding areas.

Beautiful HQ

Lowcountry Retreat is a gorgeous, tastefully decorated and well-appointed townhouse that we ( almost) didn’t want to leave to tour the Charleston area. Very well situated, it’s just a short drive to Sullivan’s Island, the heart of Charleston, etc. Great kitchen and dining area! Excellent livingroom and comfortable bedrooms. Plus, the great outdoor fireplace and cushy seating on the patio. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting the area.

Perfect for Wedding Weekend

Our family stayed here for a long weekend while attending wedding festivities in the area. Perfect location to get to the beach, Daniel Island, downtown Charleston and the airport. Property is well maintained and clean. Strongly recommend staying here as your 'home base'.

Amazing Low Country Retreat

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The pictures on this home do not do it justice…the town house was beautifully decorated and cozy, everything was perfect and John, the property manager was more than accommodating. He made sure to check in with us shortly after our arrival and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. It was so nice to have a fenced in yard for our children to play while my husband and I could relax in the backyard. Even the neighbors were so kind and helpful. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, even coffee. The master shower had great pressure and double heads which we were pleasantly surprised by. It’s only a 10 minute drive from downtown Charleston and a 5 minute drive to the Ravenel Bridge which I totally recommend you walk or run while you are here. Plenty of grocery stores near by too. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Charleston area.

This property was AMAZING!! It was clean and very up to date. The only issue I have to talk about is it is a 2.5 bath not a 3 bath as per the description. But that actually worked out better since the 1/2 bath was downstairs and the other two bathrooms are upstairs. If you are ever in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area this is a great place to rent. The owner, John, is very responsive and answered right away with all my questions.

Great home, location and host

Our family had a great 6 day stay in this very nice, clean home in a great location. Loved the outdoor space with grill, TV and ice machine to pack our coolers for the beach and kids sports events. Close to restaurants, shopping, easy drive to the beach. Owner was great and very responsive. Very easy check-in and check-out.

Fabulous weekend with family.

This home was perfect for our quick weekend in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston before my college students head back to school. We spent one day in downtown Charleston and two days on the beach (1 each at IOP and Sullivan’s). Note: bedrooms are 1 King and 2 Queen rooms. The house is well stocked for cooking in but is also close to everything. Groceries nearby. The outdoor patio area is nice. Owners were good communicators.

Great Location

We were in Charleston for a family wedding. The property was very clean and close to everything we needed. My only disappointment was the additional charges for firewood, bikes and golf cart. When I booked I was looking forward to having a nice fire on the patio with everyone. I wish that was noted in the description.

Perfect for us!

Would definitely stay here again! We stay in VRBO homes frequently and this ranks with our top stays. The owner is always available, accommodating to our needs, and quickly responsive to our questions. The house was very clean and had all the essentials provided. Although we did not have perfect weather we still enjoyed the back patio seating. Hardwood floors throughout the home were appreciated. I love that each of the bedrooms had a TV and ceiling fans for comfort. In a quiet neighborhood with people and dogs walking the streets but short distance to everything you need and downtown Charleston. Thanks you very much for allowing us to stay in your home!

Kitchen has a great island w/ bar stool seating for three. Plenty of cabinet space w/ under cabinet lighting, fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs; toaster, blender, Keurig Coffee Maker, drip coffee maker, dishwasher, filtered water & ice machine on the French door refrigerator.

Dining room has a ceiling fan, great natural light and seating for 6. Built in shelf can be used as a workstation by bringing over a bar stool.

Family room is cozy with leather couch that can comfortably seat 6. Two swivel chairs great for reading or watching the smart 60” tv. Games & throw blankets are available in the console.

Each bedroom has comfortable bedding, mattresses, ceiling fans, dressers, lighted closets with shelving, charging stations, smart TVs, bamboo flooring, nightstands & lamps.

Full bathrooms are equipped w/ hair dryers, exhaust, heat fan, tile throughout, plenty of space & great lighting. Master has a walk-in shower w/ dual shower heads and glass enclosure. 2nd bathroom is equipped with a curved tub w/ glass enclosure.

This is a licensed & legal Short-Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 9pm-8am. Please be mindful of noise at night; no parties or large gatherings are permitted or the entire security deposit will be forfeited. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the Township of Mount Pleasant Ordinance rules under Section 54-227.

Golf Cart, Stand Up Paddle Board & Bike Rental available.

Smoking of any kind is not permitted on the property, inside or out. Breaking of this rule will result in a $100 fine.
