Disappointing for sure
I will start by saying the views from the cabin were gorgeous and the host was friendly. Beyond that, we were quite disappointed. The listing title of NEW was misleading as the cabin is far from new. The LR sofas had no support in the seat that we had to use pillows to sit on to make it tolerable. The beds were so uncomfortable. The kitchen table had a sticky substance on it and the fridge had not been wiped down in awhile. There was trash left on the floor in a couple of rooms; we found a dirty sock sticking out from under the furniture in one room. The showers in 2/3 bathrooms were very dingy and the floor of the shower stalls appeared dirty-could have been stained, but did not give off a NEW vibe. We attempted to use the hot tub but the jets did not work and the temperature would not go above 98.
In one of the welcome messages, there was a link for a cabin manual. There was no mention in the welcome email that said you can not use the address for gps directions. That was in the manual. We had to go back to town for cell service to be able to pull that up to figure out how to get there. Even with that info and the youtube video, the signage was missing at the drive and it took us over 30 mins once in the area to find it.
The listing also mentioned high speed internet enough for several users. The house manual gave the network, but that was not available. We had to contact the host for a different network/password. We ended up leaving and not staying the last night.
