Its a real stretch calling a 2nd floor walk up of a 2 story building the penthouse, The condo was convenient to college graduation, clean, very nice pool. Our experience would have been greatly enhanced if the following issues were addressed: The living room cable box in the living room dates back to the 90's and should be exchanged for a current model. It required a 20 min hard reboot every time we turned it on. The stools in the kitchen are sweve and seem about to fall apart, There are sugar ants coming from light switch in hall bathroom, 2 of the pillows in the master bathroom had nylon pillow protectors but no pillowcases (none in linen closet either), there were no pot holders and not a single box of tissuesaddaddressed.

Delightful gem

Clean comfortable corner unit in a very quiet apartment building. Complex pool and sauna were a delight as was the shared deck onto Tampa Bay. Walking biking right out the front door. House was well equipped and neat. Outdoor porch perfectly situated away from bedrooms. Best of all, just ten minutes to Fort De Soto, perhaps the most beautiful beach on the Gulf coast. Notes: Need a new/bigger beach umbrella and a cheese grater. Great time!

We're Locals in Need of a Short-term Stay

We live about a mile from this apartment and we needed a place to stay for about a week while we move out of the house. This apartment was perfect for us. The only criticism I have is that the living room TV is tiny. Otherwise, this was a comfortable place to stay.

2023 St Petersburg Stat

Condo overall was nicely decorated and comfortable. Howver the door code didnt work when first checked in and had to call to get new one. That one worked for few hours. When we left next day the code didnt work to get back in and had to call again to get key out of lockbox. The key worked for rest of stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. However was tight to put our suitcases had to open and close daily twice and put back in closets to be out of way. The place had great finishes and the kichen was spacious. Would stay again. Quiet and peaceful pool and oceanside dock. Nicely lanscaped and clean complex grounds.

So so stay

The unit’s floors were dirty upon arrival. The light outside the front door was burnt out. I left a message with the manager one day but no action was taken. A few days later I called again but the manager’s mail box was full. At that point I gave up—we are on vacation after all. The on-demand hot water heater could only supply hot water to one faucet at a time. The upholstered furniture and appliances have seen better days.

Difficult beginning

The codes provided for entry into condo and codes for other entries on property were incorrect. When we called for help the customer service people blamed us. We were delayed being able to enter 2 hours. It wasn’t until we were able to talk to the property caretaker Ali that we got into the unit. Ali was great resolving a number of issues The problems turned out to be IT issues Thank goodness for Ali it would have been bad without her help. The condo itself was nice and well appointed. FYI. No laundry in the condo, coin laundry across the parking lot

My wife is great. She lets me go fishing all over our beautiful home State of Florida.

Very clean. Well stocked beautiful kitchen. In fact everything we needed was there. Just needed a few beers, lol. Would definitely recommend & happily stay again. Cheers 🍻

Super clean we enjoyed it

We loved this unit. It was very very clean. Plenty of towels, soaps, everything we needed in the kitchen. Unit was much bigger and spacious than we thought. The views at night from the deck by the pool and where the barbecue is located was amazing. Only thing was no views from the unit but it was not a deal breaker. We would recommend to friends and family and definitely try to book it in the future.

Tennis! Ft DeSoto Beaches!

If you want to play tennis, this is the place to stay. The park across the street is very nice for kids, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance. Tierra Verde is a gem.

Almost Perfect

This unit at Holiday Island is one of the nicest units in the complex. It was fully equipped and very welcoming. One thing to mention is that there should really be a Check In Process other than the sheet on the counter from 2017. We did not have the “code” to access the pool until after a full week when we finally received an email from Vacassa with that information after having placed several phone calls to Vacassa requesting this information. In addition there is some confusion in regards to having to wear wrist bands at the pool. Apparently this is not a requirement but the instructions stated it was and the wrist bands in the unit were from 2020. We also inquired with Vacassa in regards to our bikes that we had brought along. When we booked this unit we stated that we would be bringing two bicycles with us and we were assured that we could store them with no additional cost. Unfortunately that was not the case as the bike storage unit was locked and the instructions said that a tag needed to be purchased for bike storage. Again after a phone call to Vacassa, we were told to go ahead and store our bikes but we were not able to access the storage area or have tags to store them. We simply ended up keeping our bikes on the carrying rack on our vehicle. The hot water in this unit is “on demand” and not very efficient. We found we had to run the shower/sink faucets for several minutes before the water was warm and it really never got hot. Over-all we had a very nice stay at this unit but would mention that additional cleaning of the tiles floor needs to be addressed as our feet were actually dirty after the first day of walking across the floor. We would definitely rent this unit again in the future but wanted to mention that an updated check in process would be a huge improvement to future guests as well as attention to these details for future reference.
