Welcome to a terrific one-bedroom condo on the shores of desirable St. Pete Beach. With a lovely balcony and partial water view, you can bask in the Florida sunshine in comfort. Gulf Strand Resort is a lovely beachfront complex with a heated pool, hot tub, and gas grills. Centrally located, the Gulf Strand Resort is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Adventure seekers can explore the blue waters by renting jet skis, parasails, or boats just minutes away. Downtown St. Pete is a short drive and is sprinkled with a classic mix of restaurants, beach bars, and shopping, along with the famous Salvador Dali Museum, award-winning Fort De Soto Park, and the St. Petersburg Pier. For the sports fan, the always competitive and entertaining Tampa Bay Rays are a hop, skip, and a jump away.

Inside, the living room's cool blue and white tones mimic the sandy shores and crystal waters just outdoors. This delightful space has a well-equipped kitchen updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Other handy features include a washer/dryer, beach towels, and chairs.

Good stay but….

The property and location was great. Condo is renovated with a few things that could use some attention. Folding closet doors wont stay on Tracks, towel rack in master bath is loose, and the transition from living room flooring into kitchen flooring is loose and is a trip hazard. Otherwise the property is nice. Management needs work on customer service and general communication skills.

The location was great. Near shopping, food and the beach. The condo was updated but needed so maintenance (floor, towel racks and closet doors). Property management was poor. Very unhelpful. We reported a homeless person camping near our vehicle on the property and was told that WE needed to contact a local shelter and that it was not managements concern. The property was also not very clean. The floors have not been swept and mopped properly. Hair in the bathroom floor, visible dirt on cabinet handles, fridge handles and sink. There were also crumbs under the placemat on the kitchen table.

location is good, building nice on beach. Didn't have condo cleaned well counter tops and sink dirty with crumbs. Kitchen table crumbs all over it. Dryer could be fire hazard vent full also into dryer pulled out a pile of lint. Really needs taken care of

Quiet and close to the beach!

Not a huge building so not as much foot traffic and noise from building. Pool was nice and just the right temp especially when the ocean was cold however hot tub was almost too hot and was better suited for an Alaskan vacation. Overall great place to stay! Family friendly!

Nice and Fragrant

Nice small condo facing Gulf Blvd and public beach parking. Not a lot of amenities for cooking, just the bare basics. The Condo had at least 4 electronic “room fresheners”, which were overpowering.

At the Beach

Condo decorated nicely. Comfy Bed. On the beach where cabanas are available. Small pool. Pool chairs need updated. Condo is located right across the street from Publix, Dollar Tree, and restaurants. Easiest to walk as the road is super busy.

Tried to get in a little early r told NO but unit was clean and empty. Unit wad beautiful and we had a great time. Would come back. Right on the brach Just dont understand why we couldnt get inesrly since we had food; seemed silly.

Not the unit or service we expected

When we arrived we found the unit to be at the streetside corner of an old motel type set up. 1. The pictures and description of the unit are extremely illuding. Grant it its a decently furnished unit (fence the 2 stars), there is absolutely positively no view of the beach from the unit but instead the parking lot of the public beach parking (where the police staged every night), and the shell gas station across the street. 2. The motel is on the main strip so it was LOUD all the time. Sirens, police, firetrucks, cars racing, motorcycles, firetruck, etc. 3. The pool is the size of an oversized tub and the area around it is not the cleanest so we couldn't enjoy that amenity. And those grills down in that dark basement area? NO THANK YOU. 4. We arrived the evening of 7/6 (11pm) and soon realized the toilet in the main bathroom near the front door did not work, had no water was running to it, and didn't have any water in the reservoir when we tried to flush it. We called it in on 7/7, spoke with a woman from the support line who said she'd get it reported and was sending someone to us. No one ever showed up and the toilet remained with urine and tissue in it, which eventually began to create an odor. Our trip was impacted by inconvenience and that odor EVERY DAY. We paid $356 (most likely for "maintenance and cleaning fees") and yet, we couldn't get the toilet fixed - when it was broke to begin with. There wasn't even a note informing us before our stay. We emailed VACASA yesterday and still no one has reached back out. But that maintenance lady sure showed up to get the room ready for the next guess at 10am on the dot! And then we're asked to help the cleaning crew by washing linen and dishes??? Won't do that location again.

Great location

Definitely will return!

4th time using Teeming Vacation Rentals. Great company to work with. This was our third time staying at gulf strand. I would stay at any of the 3 but #308 was our favorite. The owners left a basket with all kind of snacks and a bottle of wine! Right on the beach and close to everything. Publix is across the street. If you don’t want to cook or go out Publix has a great made to order sub sandwich. The condo is clean and there’s a closet with chairs etc. for the beach. There’s a bathroom by the pool. Don’t let the outside of the drunken clam fool you, looks like a dump but has the best wings! No need for a car, you can take the trolley all the way to Clearwater and back. Free beach rides is another way to go and Freebee ride will take you to pass a grille. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
