The owner and manager was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. He tried to get more money from us at checkout for cleaning in which we already paid for cleaning within the Vrbo total fees. There were mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets, on the cutting boards, inside the plastic containers, and on the BBQ. There was no BBQ brush. Instead of checking on the property, the owner sends cleaners to do basic light cleaning. The kitchen smelled bad from a leak under the sink. The owner did not provide toothpaste, cotton swabs, or soap bars. Shampoo and conditioner were only enough for one time use, like in a hotel. It seems the owner cares more about money and fails to maintain this property as he described. We had to spend money on supplies. It's a shame because the house is beautiful, but it is not maintained professionally. The central heater wasnât working properly on the first day, then it was fixed. We have stayed at many places, but never had an owner try to get more money on the day of checkout. His description of the property is not 100% accurate. âThe Home: Gorgeous, impeccably maintained, and professionally cleaned and sanitized.â Mice droppings are not a description of âimpeccably maintained and sanitizedâ.
