Bay Front OCH Gulf Front ... Vårt hus är vattnet på North Sound sidan (vår privata Gulf strandtomt ligger tvärs över gatan, med enkel tillgång --- ca 300 fot). Njut av både till priset av en !!

Lugnande vatten på både framsidan och baksidan av huset! Stå i ditt vardagsrum och titta på stranden genom både de främre och bakre fönster! Denna plats är så unik --- var annars hittar du en sann strand ö som denna? När vi går ut till huset, vi kommer tillbaka helt påfyllda och glad.

Pool! Ta med hela familjen --- vi välkomnar alla vänliga 2 och 4 benta varelser !!!!

Avkopplande!
Som ett steg tillbaka i tiden! Dauphin Island är fortfarande till stor del orörd av höghus, lägenheter och stora utvecklingen.

Vårt hus är perfekt för bara chilla på vattnet, promenader längs stranden, titta på stjärnorna på däck! Vi är på den norra sidan av sandstrand, perfekt för små barn och hundar, men steg från golfen sidan med bränningarna. The Gulf stranden är ca 100 meter på andra sidan av ön (ön är ganska smal där) och det finns inga hus på Gulf stranden där vi är, så det är som att ha det bästa av två världar --- ditt vattnet hus utsikt över bukten och din privata strand på golfen!

Allt ingår --- komplett kök, sängkläder, TV, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, kabel-TV och internet. Husdjur är välkomna !!

Nice home and location

Nice location and easy to get to, great communications with property manager and owners, will definitely come back. Unfortunately, had to cut stay short due to hurricane but otherwise the location and property were perfect.

Nice quiet retreat.

Really enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. Beautiful setting, great peaceful cottage, fabulous walks, sunrises and sunsets; plus great food, football, and drink. Would definitely return.

Quick getaway

We stayed for a quick getaway to relax and recharge. We enjoyed our stay and spent most of our time on the back decks. very relaxing.

Amazing beach house

This is a beautiful beachfront property with lots of extra amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of sand toys, boogie boards, chairs and much more. The property manager is an amazing lady that was extremely helpful was in contact with us shortly after booking all the way up until after we left to answer any questions we had. They also own the house next door, we look forward to booking both next yr for our family and extended family vacation.

Great get Away

Peaceful place to get away. Loved sitting on the back porch swing overlooking the bay watching birds and dolphins. Later, walking out the front door over to the Gulf and finding seashells. The house was very nice and clean. We would stay here again.

Perfectly relaxing

House was well equipped with essentials. The location was great and we had wonderful views of the water. It was also great that they accepted dogs. They loved the back porch!

Great Dauphin Island Home

The house was clean and exactly as advertiaed. On the bay (which my kid and dogs loved) and a very short walk to the beach on the Gulf (which was not crowded ever). Deb the manager was great to work with. I highly recommend!

Dauphin Getaway

Loved the location of the property. Added bonus it is dog friendly. Was a little cooler than I was hoping for. But shame on me for not doing my homework. So it was a stay inside and relax.

Absolute Gem !

We truly enjoyed our time at Sea Dream. It was a much needed island oasis for us and our pups. What made is so special was the immersion into the beautiful bay, most amazing sunsets, easy stroll to the gulf and great neighbors. Having such a large backyard and water access was a super asset! The decks were comfortable and the home is excellent for rest and relaxation!

Relaxing Spring Break

We had a great time during our stay! The pictures on vrbo do not do it the home justice. There is a new larger tv in the main living area and two bedrooms have King beds with new super comfortable mattresses. The walk to the gulf side was super easy. This is was a great place for the family to unwind!

Awesome vacation home

We loved this house. Spacious and clean, kitchen well stocked for cooking. Maybe add a brownie pan…but my girls made due with what was there! The bay views from the back deck were amazing. The gulf side was not crowded and the water was so calm. Nearby restaurants, aquarium and shopping. We love quaint little beach towns and this did not disappoint!

Sad we just left

This was our first time coming to Dauphin Island and we were not disappointed. If your looking for a peaceful time and and super friendly people, this is the place to come. Our house was very clean and well furnished. Plus they are very dog friendly. The whole island is. There wasn’t one outdoor place we couldn’t take her. We definitely recommend staying here!

Sea Dream house

The house was beautiful and very nice the view was wonderful on the bay and you can see the ocean .the manger was very nice and answered any question i had very quick. The king beds we nice to sleep on .over all we had a blast on the island only bad thing is almost everything closes at 9 pm .

Peaceful beach getaway

First trip to Dauphin Island and the laid back atmosphere was excellent. Very few people on any of the beaches at any time. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises and my daughter was so excited to catch a stingray fishing in the back yard! The posted pictures don't do the house justice in my opinion it's nicer in person and very clean.

Dog Friendly Bay Side Home

Three bedrooms was perfect for 2 adults, 3 kiddos, and a dog. Bay was always calm for swimming and never crowded. The gulf wasn't too far of a walk. Bring bug spray or pants and loose long sleeves for the walk out to the water due to mosquitoes, though the skeeters are worse some days over others. House was in good shape, loved the couch covers so pup could sit with us without worry. Back deck was perfect to watch the bay and eat outside. Hoses under the house and on the deck helped reduce the sand we brought in! Overall, would stay again unless we try to stay on the Gulf side next time.

Nice little beach spot

We chose Sea Dream because we wanted to bring our dogs to the beach. The house and Dauphin Island in general were super dog friendly, which we loved. The property manager was helpful and knowledgeable when we asked for recommendations. A few things keeping the place from being 5 stars: the bath towels and sheets were dingy and gray, the grill was super dirty and rusty, and the couches were very uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but would choose someplace with nicer amenities if we weren’t traveling with dogs.

Location was great. Dauphin Island is amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

The location of this property was great. The house is on the bay side but the owners also have a lot across the street on the Gulf side. We were able to enjoy the best of both sides. The only drawback was that the house was filthy. My wife spent the first three hours cleaning. We were early for check in so that might of had something to do with it.

Family beach vacation

We loved the low key r&r vibe of Dauphin Island. This house was great for our family of 7. Our 4 and 7 year old absolutely loved playing in the bay acess right out the back door. We were able to see dolphins, fish, crabs, frogs and other wildlife right from the deck. One note to travelers that we had to learn and adjust to is that most restaurants close earlier and have a difficult time having tables for larger parties later of an evening. Overall beautiful house, helpful and communive management, easy check in and out, and a beautiful place to vacation. We would definitely recommend staying and hope to be back!

We will definitely stay here again

We brought our fur babies. On our anniversary trip. The house was so dog friendly. Including leashes, dog blanket and gates on both decks. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Even though it was January the was a sunny 65. My only suggestion is to find a more comfortable couch. It was like sitting on wood boards. Other than that a fantastic home

The Views and the Decks for the Dog

My wife and I stayed at Sea Dreams this past week. The overall experience was great. Mrs. Smith was an excellent host. She almost "over communicated " lol. We had some very small issues that were resolved quickly and or explained. For example the garbage disposal was not working...not a big deal for my wife and I. I would highly recommended this place, especially if you have a dog. The decks are great for hanging out and having a place for your dog to just enjoy the time outside. Our dog was kept on a long leash most of the time, due to the fact that we saw foxes in yard next door. We did not need a "hot" pursuit on the island...as ours would have ran for days to interact with wildlife. Finally, the private beach is great. Quiet and peaceful with a great swimming area. Beautiful view of the sound

We very much enjoyed our stay and did not want to return home at the end of the week. The cabin is clean and the location is great - just stroll down the garden to the sound and dip your toes in the warm water. The public beach at the end of the island is clean, and very easy to reach from the cabin - and is highly recommended for the sand and warm waters. Dauphin Island has a number of good places to eat, including restaurants with live music. The island is laid back but still has a Fort, an Aquarium, a Bird Sanctuary and a Ferry to the mainland to keep you busy! The only word of caution is to ensure that you bring snacks and drinks as the cabin does not have a 'welcome pack' to get you going.

Comfy place to relax

Was a comfortable place to relax with our family. Like the description says, definitely pet friendly and house was clean and made us feel at home. Would suggest bringing some dvds if you want to watch movies, we had issues with the wifi every evening around 8pm it would go out and was spotty during the day. Only part of the descriptions that was off, or misunderstood on my part, was the deck. The photos makes it look like wr had one of the decks on the water, but it was a small deck (approx 8,10’) that was sitting in the sand. Overall, was a nice house and we really enjoyed the quiet setting and the privacy of the beach. The weather was sketchy and the public beach was a red flag while, our side was calm and enjoyable.

We love this place and we love taking our pooches to the beach. They always enjoy it!!! We are so busy that much of the time we find it hard to get away. We love the quiet cul de sac location, being steps from the water and being away from traffic. We want other people to enjoy what we have enjoyed for years. Thus the reason for renting our beach house.

Dog Friendly!!! There aren't that many dog friendly beaches on the Gulf Coast. So please bring your pooches and/or kitties and enjoy. Private bayside beach where you can go fishing without a permit, and a quick walk over private easement to Gulf Shore.
