A wonderful 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage located on Beautiful Bogue Sound: 2 miles from Emerald Isle NC. Perfect for sound side family fun: Featuring a fenced backyard, a four season sunroom, patio, grill and outside deck. A full kitchen and fireplace in family room. Access to Huntington Bay boat ramp, two neighborhood parks and a fishing pier overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway and Emerald Isle.

Vacation with family

The Bayview House was very clean and comfortable. It was in a good location and the neighbor hood was very quiet. The house was eqipped with many amenities and good for children, and pets. We would definately stay there again. The host was very freindly and accommodating.

WONDERFUL

We rented this home during the end of a tropical storm in Emerald Isle. Maggie kept us up to date on the conditions around the home even before we were scheduled to arrive. She was so nice! After arriving we were so impressed with all of the extra touches!!! The shampoo and soap on every bed, the bath salts and bubble bath by the tub…the treats in the basket in the kitchen!! The home was spotless, comfortable, well appointed and soooo welcoming! We hope to return for a longer stay and hope that Maggie’s place will be available! Don’t pass this rental up!!!

Would stay again

Great location in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a boat launch and small pier on the Bogue sound. A quick drive to Emerald Isle and supermarkets. Well stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies—we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome basket snacks, waters, and dog toys! The owners clearly put a lot of thought into the property, they even dedicated the screened in porch as a play room with tons of games and activities for kids. Air conditioning worked great and was a huge relief from those hot and humid days. Check in/out was a breeze and the host was easy to contact when needed. Would definitely stay again for our yearly trip to Emerald Isle. Thanks for being great hosts!

Cute cottage feel

The outside of this house does not do justice to the cuteness of the inside. We were very pleased to find many things here we did not expect. There were games, snacks, reading materials, and toiletry items that might be forgotten. There is also a washer and dryer to do laundry. We enjoyed the sun room and walks to the boat dock. The view there was beautiful!

Great Location

We were in town to race at Carteret County Speedway for Memorial Day. Easy access to track as well as the beach. Plenty of room in the home with all the needed cooking essentials. Quiet neighborhood, highly recommended.

Wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at this home, and we absolutely loved it! We plan to make this an annual trip if available. The home is spacious, clean and has everything we needed, plus it’s a short drive to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. We love this VRBO!

So Cute!

We were visiting our son thats in training at Camp Lejeune. The location was about 30 mins away. The location was perfect to base, shopping, restaurants and the beach. I loved that it was pet friendly as I brought my frenchie with us. I highly recommend Gaffers for dinner and the little family owned theater at Emerald Plantation Cinema. We will definitely stay again!

Great place for weekend getaway

House was clean and well maintained. Stayed here for a weekend fishing trip and highly recommend. Great location and convenient to all that Cape Carteret and Emerald Isle offers.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved the Bayview House, the ping pong game, the community, the parks & the beaches. This home is stocked with everything you need and has great outdoor space (fenced yard a plus if you have pets). Stay here, no comparison!

As good as I remember

We stayed at the home last year and really enjoyed our trip. When we walked in this year, it was just as good as we remembered it. It was a little like coming home, only this house was clean and free of kid clutter! Can't wait to stay next year!

Cozy, pet-friendly home in a great location!

I stayed at Margaret's lovely home during a visit to Eastern NC with my husband and our dog. We could not have chosen a better place for our vacation! Margaret is an excellent and welcoming host. The home was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-supplied. The welcome basket and other thoughtful touches were above and beyond what we have ever experienced at any other VRBO. We loved the convenience of having a fenced-in area for our dog to run and play, just a short walk from the back door. The jacuzzi in the master bathroom was also a wonderful feature -- a great way to relax after a day of swimming and sun! The location was fantastic, just a short drive over the bridge to to get to the beaches on Emerald Isle and lots of other fun things to do nearby! We especially enjoyed our trip to the Bogue Sound Distillery, which is located right down the street (toward the front of the neighborhood) and often hosts food trucks and other fun events. We also took a pleasant drive over to Beaufort and took the ferry to Shackelford Island to see the ponies and go for a swim. So much to see and do -- this location is a great home base! And the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. We would love to visit again if we have the opportunity!
