Black Knight Cabin is newly remodeled mid-century modern cabin. 816 square feet with 2 bedrooms (one loft), with kids play area complete with play kitchen! Walking distance to The Village area, and 5 mins away from the slopes!
All bedding will be provided along with bathroom linens.

Sleeping arrangements

Bedroom 1: (Main floor) Queen bed, 50’ smart tv with Roku.
Bedroom 2: (Second floor) Two twin beds. Direct access to the play area
Play Area: (Second floor) Kids kitchen and reading area.

We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton balls, cotton swabs and floss picks. Hand
towels and wash cloths are also provided. The bath and spa towels are not for lake use, please bring extra for the lake.

Bathroom: (Main floor) Glass shower and single vanity.
Kitchen: Full sized fridge, gas range, gas oven, dishwasher, microwave, 6 cup drip coffee maker, Keurig. Fully stocked with all utensils, cookware, and dishware.
Dining Room: Located in kitchen. Chairs for 2 & bench seating.
Living Room: Record player and large 3 seater couch.

Laundry Room: Full sized washer and dryer, with laundry detergent.
Front Patio: Amazing place to watch the mountain life and a warm cup of goodness
Back Patio: String lights light up the picnic area.
Parking: Parking for 2 cars only per our permit. More than 2 cars will result in fines and eviction per the city.

Mountain transit and the free Big Bear Trolley pick up locations are under .4 miles from Black Knight Cabin!
Occupancy (4 including children & infants) and car limit (2) are set by the city. They will enforce theses. If found to have more than we are licensed for, you may be fined and evicted with no refund. So please adhere to these limitations.

Upon Check Out

Wash dishes (load washer and start)
Pick up yard of trash, cigarette butts, lids ect
Leave used beds unmade
All used towels can be piled in bathroom (all linens are cleaned off site)
Close any open windows & doors.
Turn off lights
Lock up
All trash must be taken to local trash dump site per city ordinances

Keypad code- City of Big Bear Lake requires their Good Neighbor Policy to be signed prior to gaining access to the home. The person booking the home MUST sign, no exceptions. Declining to sign will result in no access to the home, & cancellation of reservation with no refund. GNP can be found in our listing along with the break down of our agreement. Agreement is sent in a link for virtual signature in welcome message.

Code will be sent day of check in. Once the home is ready or at 4pm, whichever is first.

Animals- This home does not allow any type of animal. This includes service animals and emotional support animals. The owners are allergic and cannot have even hypoallergenic animals. Please do not ask as there are no exceptions to this rule. Please respect the owners and their health by selecting an animal friendly home. If you would like help seeing our animal friendly homes, send us a message, or view our available homes. Most of our homes have “Pet Friendly” in the title.

Cleaning Fee-nonnegotiable. This covers clean linens, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors, basic balancing of spa chemicals, and basic care of the home. This does not cover left trash, excessive messes, or cleaning dirty dishes. The home has deeper clean items that happen 2-3x a year.

Early check in- No guarantees will be made. No access to the entire property before it is ready. Please do not sit at the home to wait. It does slow the team down and makes them miss items.

Late check out- No guarantees. This is based entirely on the cleaning team’s route. It is only granted night before checking out. If you’d like to guarantee checking out later, book another night. This allows you to stay a whole night or leave at any point during your reservation time. Please note, we do charge if you delay the cleaning teams by not vacating the entire property, not just the home. The cleaners will not knock to let you know they are there. Please be respectful of their time and any guest checking into the home after you.

Snow Removal- We have a snowplow on call during winter. Please be patient as they are on their own route. Our plows come out after a storm when 4+ inches fall. We do our best to shovel the entry to the home. Decks are not guaranteed to be shoveled. Shovel is provided in the home for your convenience. Be careful as there are steps to this home.

If traveling in winter, we highly suggest purchasing trip insurance! We have a strict cancellation policy and will stand by it. Winter months can be challenging with snow, ice, road closures, and other things. Cover yourself by purchasing the trip insurance.

No refund will be made for cancellation due to weather, road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical failures, electrical failures or malfunctions with spas, TVs or other equipment, or for sighting of insects, rodents, or other animals. No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond the Homeowner’s control. Rescheduling is allowed if all roads have been closed into the area for 24 hours of check in time. Chains are often required and should be always carried. They may be needed to get in or out of Big Bear or your rental.

If all house rules are followed, then no extra charges will occur! Ultimately be respectful.
