Slow down and relax, it’s time to stay On Island Time! Pack up your suitcase and your smile, and come to enjoy a fenced-in backyard, a short walk to the beach each morning, and an enclosed outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) to welcome you back each afternoon.

Come inside and allow yourself to unwind. The spacious living room is a great place to watch TV or play a captivating game of charades, while the adjacent deck is just the spot for a nightcap while making plans for tomorrow’s adventures. The beautifully equipped kitchen makes feeding the family a cinch, offering both a standard coffee maker and a Keurig, a dining table with seating for six, and additional seating at the counter.

The bedrooms include a primary suite with a TV and its own full bathroom. Need a break from the kids? Send the teenagers downstairs to the bonus room off the carport with a TV, a microwave, and a minifridge with another Keurig. Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer, free WiFi, local telephone access, and a gas grill.

Perfect getaway

So close to everything- beach, stores, activities and more. The house is beautiful with all the amenities. Home away from home. Dog friendly. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better vacation destination ❤️

Lovely stay

This home was very nice and in a nice location, close to beach and restaurants, if you don’t mind up to a 1/2mile walk. The beds are not great and could stand to be upgraded with new mattresses or toppers. The kitchen is well stocked and The fenced yard and the upper deck were wonderful. It was not clear that the lower level can only be accessed from the outside. My only problem was with the check-in/checkout process. You get a check-in notification from vacasa with the door code but have to actually go to the office to pick up check-in packet and keys. They tell you to follow their checkout process not what you get from Vacasa, which was different. Their check-out papers did not inform you that you needed to return the packet and keys. Overall, a disorganized process that didn’t detract from our trip but should be addressed.

Wonderful location & setup

This house was perfect for my family's Christmas celebrations. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the downstairs suite made for a great getaway from the rest of the group. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus, our pup loved playing on the beach and being able to utilize the fenced in back yard. The only improvement I would recommend is having a clearer check-in process. We didn't realize we had to go to the Vacasa office to pick up the keys since there was a lockbox code in the instructions (turns out, the lockbox code didn't work!). Outside of that trouble, this home was a knock out and just what we were looking for!

On Island Time

This house was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. It was short walking distance to ocean, bars and restaurants. Fenced in yard was perfect for dogs! Everyone was happy in this beachy cottage. Would stay here again for sure!

Great place

The house was great. Plenty of space inside & out. Quick walk to beach, & a couple of our favorite restaurants. Great for pets. We have a small dog, so the fenced yard was perfect. Look forward to staying again & recommending to friends & family.

Nice stay, beautiful area.

My two adult sons and I went to Atlantic Beach to do some guided fishing. Had a great stay. Good food all around us. Friendly people. Great beaches. It was a bit windy after an offshore hurricane had passed by but otherwise great weather with bluebird skies. I'd like to get back there again.

Great house!

The house is only 2 blocks from the beach access. It is centrally located so we could enjoy Atlantic Beach pavilion or go across the connector to Morehead City. The backyard and outdoor patios were wonderful for or dog and for our family!

Be ware of this company vacsa

I called them 3 months before check in to tell them I needed to cancel due to my Dad needing surgery for cancer and recovery time was going to run into this vacation date. They wouldn’t allow it ( that far out ) absurd. First time ever I’ve had this happen. Also. Keys don’t work that they make you waste time to pick up The code was the only way to get in Be ware and make sure you are renting from a individual and not a company.

Home away from home❤️

We have been vacationing here for 9 years. These two weeks are the highlight of our year. Perfect location. So close to beach (short walk). Many restaurants and stores within walking distance. The beach house is beautifully decorated. So comfortable and inviting. Our dog loves it too. I read 9 books on the awesome deck/porch while my dog played in the fenced in backyard. Everything you need is available for living day to day. Our grandkids enjoyed our vacation every year in their “kid” decorated room. I can’t say enough—we love everything about this beach home❤️

We love On Island Time!

We have been renting this home since 2014, and it has always been perfect for our family vacation every year. It’s just a short 5 minute walk to the beach and to some great restaurants, shops and bars. The bedroom downstairs is perfect for my parents who enjoy having their own separate space. Our two dogs really enjoy having the fenced in yard to run around and play. The kitchen is also well stocked for the nights we want to cook dinner and eat in. We have created such wonderful memories every year and we look forward to creating many more. Thank you for providing such an accommodating home away from home for our family each year!

Great location

I loved the location. For the amount of space for guests the only drawback was not enough space in the living room for comfortable lounging chairs. Otherwise it was wonderful and we would stay again.
