Om boendet

Vi byggde denna vackra moderna stuga 2004 med all karaktär och inredning du kan förvänta dig i ett idylliskt Rocky Mountain hem. Otroligt bergsutsikt omger dig, men du kan gå till kafé, restauranger och rekreationsvägen tar dig till Breckenridge, koppar eller runt Dillon. De största skidområdena är bara några minuter bort (Koppar: 8 miles, Breckenridge: 10 miles, Keystone: 12 miles, Vail: 25 miles, Beaver Creek: 35 Miles, Winter Park: 60 miles, Steamboat: 90 Miles).

Vårt hem är cirka 2000sf med parkeringsplats för 4 + bilar. Huvudnivån har två sovrum (ett med en queen size-säng, den andra med två fulla sängar). Den övre våningen har master svit (queen size-säng) utöver det stora loftet (konvertibel futon) som är öppen för vardagsrummet nedan. En tvättmaskin och torktumlare samt ett start- / utrustat torkrum gör längre vistelser bekvämt, och det finns en vårdpersonal om det skulle uppstå en nödsituation.

Summit County har ett gratis transportsystem som kan ta dig nästan var som helst med dina cyklar och skidor. Shuttle stop är fyra kvarter bort och kan ta dig till basen av Copper Mountain på så lite som 10 minuter eller Breckenridge i 15. Om du behöver hyra skidor eller cyklar finns det många affärer i stan som gärna tar emot dig. De flesta av dina shoppingbehov kan också tas hand om direkt i Frisco. från familjedrivna affärer, gallerier och restauranger till hela mat, Starbucks, snabbmat, Safeway och Walmart.

"Mountain" Retreat Review

Suffered from a moderate to severe dry coughevery day I returned to the cabin which resolved every morning I left for the slopes I am a board-certified MD so I have a high index of suspiscion that there may be environmental factors at play in your cabin i.e. animal dander, mold, animal droppings, etc. I may be mistaken but you may want to rule these or other possible causes out. Good location but I would consider the home very over priced compared to what I have paid for other accomodations in the area Also one of my fellow guests was concerned that the 2nd floor thermostat was possibly being remotely reset to a less than comfortable lower temperature in the evening We probably would not return even at a lower price However we do appreciate you opening your home to us and did our best to leave no trace other than leaving some provisions behind for future guests! Listing photo misleading considering the place was in a subdivision off of Main Street in Frisco and not a mountain retreat which I expected having been to Frisco many times in the past

Perfect location

This was our second summer in Frisco, same rental house. Perfect location, perfect house. You can bike everywhere on the rec path (to Breck, Copper, Keyston and Lake Dillon), which is so close to the house; or just walk into town, only a few blocks away. The deck on the house is a major plus. 5 stars!!!

Great House and Location

Loved staying here. Great location. Easy walk to town and trails. Quick drive to Copper. House is well supplied,clean and very nice. The owner was very nice and quick to respond when I had a question. Made dinner many nights and they had all the items we needed. Would recommend staying here.

Great Location

We loved the location, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Bicycle path and hiking trails were a few blocks away. Neighborhood was quiet. Weather was wonderful.

Great Mountain Getaway

Lovely Frisco home

This is a lovely and comfortable home in Frisco. The location is fantastic for walking to Main Street and has easy access to Highway 9. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this VRBO to friends.

Frisco / Summit County Gem!

Exceptional property - roomy, clean, love the log cabin concept, and in a central location that is hard to beat. Walk to mainstream Frisco - Summit County Hike/Bike pathway a short walk/bike ride away. Free bus ride / stop 5 mins from house to Breck. Centralized to allow short drives to Vail, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Breckenridge. Easy, Intermediate and Expert hikes within easy reach / short drive. We'll be back in the Winter for ski season!

Weekend stay in Frisco

Our family had a lovely time at this beautiful cabin. It was in the perfect location. We hiked, biked, play games, saw moose, had breakfast and dinner in town, etc. Tons to do here.

Perfect Location and place for our family of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in Frisco. What a charming town. In these times, they were doing everything they could do keep all safe and yet keep business going. The cabin was in a perfect spot, walking distance from it all. It was a quiet spot to chill after our long days of outdoor activities. There is a couple that lives below the cabin but no trouble at all. They made a point to introduce themselves the second we got there(which was comforting) and never saw them after that. We would definitely rent this home again and recommend it to any family of 5 venturing that way.

Fall Family Fun in Frisco

This was the perfect fall family getaway location in the mountains! We were looking for a convenient location to meet up with our son who lives in Wyoming. This mountain retreat was amazing! It truly had all the comforts of home and was decorated with lots of fun little accents! Loved being able to walk into town with our two pups! Lots of space for the five humans, too! Having the washer and dryer downstairs was a bonus. And our location was so close to Breckenridge, Copper, Georgetown, Vail, Leadville and more! It was so much fun being in Colorado in the fall. You don't need to wait for ski weather to enjoy this lovely mountain getaway!

Livingston/Davis long weekend

This is a great house in Frisco that is centrally located to ski slopes at Loveland and Fine Dining in Frisco. Great views of the mountains from the house. Nice kitchen and plenty of room downstairs for 8 to gather and spend time together. I highly recommend!

Thanks for considering our vacation home. We have traveled all over the world but are still amazed at the beauty of Summit County. The skiing is phenomenal, especially having so many major ski resorts in the area, and the summers are even more amazing! The morning routine is to check the snow report and chase the powder! In the summer the cycling and hiking trails are fantastic and just steps away from the house. Plus, there are more art, beer and music festivals going on than you will know what to do with...and most of them are free!

Varför värden valde detta boende

Frisco is one of the best places you can stay in Summit County. It has easy access to all the major ski resorts yet retains a great small town charm with good dining options (many within walking distance) and lots of activities. I lived in the area full time for six years and loved all the summer and winter recreation opportunities, now I take advantage of these activities when we come up from Golden.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We know the family dog can be just as important as anyone else you travel with in sharing your mountain vacation. We are happy to accommodate, with the understanding that your pooch should be comfortable in new environments (no excessive barking or aggressive behavior) and you will cleanup after them outside. If you leave them unattended in the house please use a crate, and no pets on beds or furniture. The charge $30/night per pooch (max of 2)….due to the way VRBO handles payment this may be sent as separate charge after your reservation is completed.

Lastly, please be sure of your dates at time of booking as we cannot issue refunds or change dates. We encourage everyone to get travel insurance to cover unforeseen events. In the situation where you have no alternative but to change dates or cancel, let us know and we will try to rebook your reservation with someone else (there is a 20% rebooking fee, plus deductions for any discounts needed to re-book the property)… thanks for your understanding.
