Copper Ski Trip 2023

Property is great for 2 familes with kids. Short drive to Copper. House has everything we needed. Hot tub was great.

Generally good stay close to Copper

Condo was in a great location close to Copper Mountain where went skiing for the weekend. The pluses were that it fit our needs really well. The space was perfect for us which was 4 adults and 2 kids. The condo felt large for being in what looked like a relatively small complex. The condo was definitely clean. The downsides were the beds were not the most comfortable. There were also some places where the ceiling drywall looked a little damaged, so it’s possible a leak may exist in the roof or in an upstairs bathroom. Other than it was a great stay.

Week stay in Frisco

The property was very well kept, stocked, and had almost all the supplies that we needed. It is about four blocks from Main Street, a little farther than I would like, but also not too bad. Couple of big concerns for our stay. 1. There was only one smoke detector on the lower level of the house, and none were upstairs. 2. There were also no carbon monoxide detectors present. 3. We had nowhere to take our trash, and it sat in our entryway hall for a couple days waiting on housekeeping to pick it up. Then had 4 more bags sitting around after that and no place to take them. Home owner sometimes quick to respond, other times not. Overall good experience, but those issues definitely need addressed.

Nice townhouse walking distance to Main Street

The house was exactly as expected, clean, comfortable, with almost everything you would need. Only lacking, (or may be we didn’t figure it out?), was streaming services such as Netflix. We appreciated the toiletries. Beds are very comfortable. There is electric heat in every room that can be individually adjusted. Overall, excellent place.! And Geoff was great and accommodating.

Perfect Winter Getaway

This property was fantastic! The view from the master balcony of the snow covered streets was beautiful. The pictures online do not do this place justice. It was immaculately cleaned. All three bedrooms had fresh linens as well as the 2 full and 1/2 bathrooms. Plenty of space for our family of 6. All adults. Communication with the owner was seamless. He was very helpful and responded anytime I needed directions or had questions. It’s a short walk to the town of Frisco where you will find some great places to eat. If you’re looking for a winter retreat we highly recommend this property!

Great location with a few drawbacks that could be resolved.

When we arrived, there was a very strong bad odor in the kitchen area - we never did figure it out, but think that it may be the dishwasher. It was horrible! Otherwise it was very clean. The other thing that was bothersome was that there was so much snow in the way of both entrances! This was listed in the write-up, but it really makes it difficult to get a lot of luggage and ski gear into the condo. Due to this I probably would not rent again unless the owners could come up with a solution, like pay someone to remove the walkway snow!! Location was great! Beds and rooms comfortable. Everything else was just fine.

Good option for a short stay without dogs

The location of this townhome is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood, but less than a 10 minute walk to main street. The hot tub is also a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again for a short stay (less than a week) without bringing dogs. I would not recommend staying here with dogs or more than a week due to the trash situation. There is no external trash bin or external trash service, so you have to find a public trash to dump your dog poop bags (there aren't any in the immediately surrounding area). The owner does arrange for the cleaning service to pick up the trash once a week, but there's no set window of time for that, so they could come any time on a designated day, and most of the time they didn't show up, so we had to reschedule it again for the next day. They also could come to the front door or the back door, so there's no clear direction where to put the trash bags for them. If you want to recycle, you have to take it to the recycling center yourself.

Central to many of the ski areas. Love downtown Frisco which is walkable or just 2 minute drive. Hot tub is great.

Solid Option for Winter Ski Trip

This townhome is a solid option for a more affordable place to stay outside of the resort towns with easy access in the winter to lots of resorts. A couple of things to be aware of/that could improve the experience:- The twin mattress in the bunk bed room is very thin, and I wouldn't recommend planning on an adult sleeping there. - The hot tub is great! Scheduling maintenance 24 hours before guest arrival would be ideal (probably something the owners have considered but it just worked out for us that maintenance was scheduled the morning of our arrival which meant a very cool tub that evening). - Designate hot tub towels, we ran low on towels with 4 adults staying there just a couple of nights so it would be great to have additional.Geoff was very easy to get in touch with and was gracious with the hot tub issue we encountered.

Good Location & Well Stocked

My family of four stayed for the weekend for some skiing. The unit was spacious and very well stocked with all kitchen necessities. Parking was easy and the location was very close to Main Street in Frisco. Check-in was easy, although we did have to email the property manager on our drive up (after check-in time) to obtain the access code to the unit. But they were very quick to respond, so no practical issues at all. Would recommend this place for a family!

It is now our frequent Colorado getaway from our home state of Utah!
