Green Beach Island is a triangular property with water on the two front sides and separation from neighbors on the back side by highway right-of-way. You can enjoy total privacy without driving down long lake roads or dealing with steep driveways. Three separate houses, each with its own dock and private boat ramp assure plenty of parking and elbow room to help your family unwind. It is hard to believe that you can be in the city center and 3 minutes later be enjoying a private retreat with no neighbors on a beautiful, newly renovated lakefront sanctuary. (we do realize we aren't an Island in the classical sense, but since we have total privacy except over one road or by boat, it sure feels like an island to us :)
Planning a fun weekend on the lake? At Green Beach Island you won’t need a golf cart or repelling gear to get to the water. All three houses are just a few level steps from front porch to boat dock. Bring your boat and utilize our private ramp to launch your boat or pwc. Two of the three available boat docks have swim platforms and all three have covered slips. Nearby attractions include Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Old Kinderhook Golf & Spa Resort, and Lake Valley Golf Club.
Choosing our property for your getaway includes all three newly renovated houses. The largest house has open floor plan with 4 bedrooms (3 king beds, 2 doubles), three full bathrooms, a family room, and wrap around deck. The middle house is a cozy 2 bedroom (1 king 2 doubles), one full bath with an open floor plan and large deck. The third house has three bedrooms (2 queens 2 doubles), 2 full baths, a large central gathering area, and a full length deck. All three houses have fully equipped kitchens, center islands, and stainless steel appliances. Two houses have washer and dryers on-site. Expecting Cousin Eddie?—we offer, for an additional fee, an RV spot that includes water, electric, and a two tier fishing deck right on the water.
We welcome family reunions, corporate retreats, micro weddings, church group gatherings, and similar groups.

We loved it!

Our family had an unforgettable Christmas vacation here! The houses were clean and spacious, perfect to accommodate our large family of all ages! The hosts were very responsive and made the process smooth and painless. We appreciated them going out of their way to bring the magic of Christmas by decorating and setting up trees in each house! It was a great surprise! They made us feel right at home! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to feed large groups with ease. The kids loved the game room, checking out the local attractions and fishing on dock. We have already talked about returning in the summer to take advantage of the lake life! We highly recommend this property for anyone that wants cosy, private setting for a large group. 5 stars all the way!

Family Thanksgiving Gathering

This was great for the family and I. Everything was great from the check-in, the communication with the owners, the location and the overall experience. They had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving a success. We cooked, laughed, played games and was all able to enjoy each other in tge main house because of how soacious this place was. We'll book again!!

Will Return every Summer

The 3 houses were perfect. The lake is just a few steps away. The lily pads were so much fun. Beds very comfy. Everything was so perfect. Being able to put our jet skis right in the water, having our own ramp, was such a wonderful surprise. ( maybe i missed that in the description) I cant wait to return!

Great place for a large group

We had a group of 23 people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Green Beach Property. The location was awesome and the houses had everything we needed to stay comfortably. A small suggestion to the owner is to make sure there is hot water in the shower for 2nd and 3rd houses also. There were 3 bathrooms in the 1st house so we all managed but it would be nice to have hot water in all three houses. Overall the property was great for our big group with a beautiful view and no neighbors nearby.

50th Wedding Anniversary Family vacation

Wonderful! Amazing! Better even the reviews. When they say everything is there it’s true. You don’t need to bring anything other than coolers, baby items, lawn chairs which many of those are provided. The grands really enjoyed the lily pad and other outdoor items. I don’t think the tv was even turned on except for the 18 mo. olds “show” while meals were prepared. The three refrigerators were great. We used one for lunches, one for future dinner items, and one for breakfast items. Each house had its own coffee pot so your first cup could be enjoyed before the chaos of 5 families gathering for the day. There are enough dishes and silverware in the big house to accommodate all 18 of us. If you have a real little one remember to bring their plastic dishes. All of the docks have outlets for charging boats. If you take your phone to the swim dock it needs a floaty, they don’t know how to swim! We did have an issue but it was dealt with asap by the owner.

Perfect for Large Grouos

We are a family that traveled from Colorado, Kentucky and Tennessee. This property was perfect for grandparents, kids and grandkids. The houses were well-stocked with everything needed for family meals. The owners were very helpful and gave us access to a wide variety of water toys our kids enjoyed. Having the boat dock steps away from the houses made boat rentals easy. We would absolutely stay at this property for future reunions.

Family Reunion

We rented this resort for my husband’s 80th birthday/family gathering. There were19 of us ranging in age from 2 years old to 80. It was absolutely beautiful. The houses had everything you could ever need, except groceries 😊. The property owners are so easy to communicate with and very helpful. We will be going back in 2026. This place was amazing! Well stocked with everything you need to host big groups. Perfectly located right by the lake and the house was updated and cute! The beds were super comfy and had plenty of space for everyone to have their own space to disappear for a nap if they wanted to. Plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen space was great. It was a beautiful stay and would 10/10 recommend to book! 😍

Absolutely AMAZING

The homes were exactly like the pictures. Very clean and updated. Right on the lake, secluded and a very short drive to town. Our entire group was beyond pleased with the home and we will all be back many times! Accommodations were great and the owners were very helpful with ideas and suggestions on the boat rental company! Absolutely love this property!!

Perfect for a family reunion

This place was amazing!! We had a family reunion with 21 people ranging from 10-75 yrs old there for three days and didn’t need to leave for supplies once. Each house is well stocked, they had more than enough outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained the entire time and the swimming dock was perfect. Going into the stay I was a little nervous about road noise from the hwy right behind the property but we hardly even noticed it and we were outside the entire time. It truly felt like we were on an island when we were there. Thanks for providing such a great experience.

We stayed at this property while in town for a tournament at Ballpark Nationals. Absolutely wonderful! The docks were amazing. Lots of water toys and floats. The kitchen in the large house was perfect for entertaining. We loved having a washer and dryer. Plenty of space for parking and yard games in the evening. A short drive to town for groceries. We will be back!

Hidden Gem

We were very happy with our stay on our family reunion of about 25 people. When we arrived, everything was there already as far as toiletries, bottled water, and condiments. Good first impression. A floatable pad for the little ones to play on, a paddleboard, and 2 kayaks. Lots of lawn and board games and a nice fire pit. The owners were friendly and nice. Would definitely book this place again if in the area.

Great for a family reunion!

This property was incredible! We had 20 people staying and were all very comfortable. We had 5 kids total in a variety of ages and the property met the need of every age range. The large house had a baby gate installed which was a life saver! The older kids loved how close and accessible the docks were for fishing and water play. The docks were fun to hang out on and had easy access for boats. Our boat rental was easily able to pull into the dock. We had family that was easily able to dock with their large house boat. The rental had everything we needed and more! We absolutely loved that they had a lily pad and a paddle board for us to use. You really can't beat how kid friendly this property was. The host was easy to contact and he always had a quick response to help us troubleshoot any issues. If we had one request it would be to have walk-in beach access to the lake for little kids. We loved our stay and would book again in a heart beat!

Greatness!

This spot worked GREAT!!! for our multigenerational family. The houses were great, having so much space and privacy was also really fantastic. The docks and all the water toys made it extra fun. Well appointed kitchens, responsive and kind hosts, plenty of parking and a dumpster on site, We all had the best time, and I can't wait to come back.

We both grew up only a short drive from Lake of the Ozarks, and still live there today. We've been married over 30 years, and have always loved the lake area. I am a retired 3rd grade teacher, and Chris grew up in the floor covering installation business, which evolved into home construction in 1989.
This is an exciting time in our life as our family has recently expanded to include a daughter in law, and 2022 will see us adding a son in law. We can't forget to mention our 2 grand dogs that love lake life as much as we do! We are all crazy about the lake area, and especially the Green Beach property. As a matter of fact, we love it so much that we hate to leave when it's time to go back home. Our hope is that our guests feel exactly the same!

We have been in the construction business since 1989, but started flipping homes in 2015. When our realtor called us in November of 2020 to tell us about this property, he was insistent that we come immediately to see this "never before listed" Green Beach treasure. We could see how unique the property was when we arrived, and before the afternoon ended, we were in contract to purchase. We fully intended to renovate and sell the property just as we had done to over 50 properties since 2015. However, the more time we spent at Green Beach and around Camdenton, the more we fell in love with this one of a kind property. That love, and lots of prayer, resulted in the decision to keep Green Beach, name it our "island", and share it with other families.
