Lakefront House w/ Pool, Boat Dock & views of Old Kinderhook Golf Course

This Old Kinderhook home has it all! The fun starts the moment you open the front door. Look through the wall of windows at the swimming pool (not heated), the lake and the renowned Old Kinderhook golf course
 inviting you to come out and play!

An open comfortable living area, a dining table big enough for your whole crew, and a gorgeous kitchen welcome you. The bedrooms provide a variety of bed sizes so that all ages have that “just right” bed. A large conversation/TV area is made for socializing, and a new quiet room provides a getaway space. Downstairs the beautiful bar, ample recliners around another 70” TV, a gas fireplace, a stand-alone ice maker, pool table & foosball are fun for all.

Outside the lower deck adjoins the beautiful swimming pool (not heated, typically opens mid to late April) where all can splash the day away. The gentle walk to the 2-well dock leads to water fun including many float toys and ski equipment. The upper deck sports a new propane fire pit for relaxing with your favorite beverage at the end of a long busy, fun-filled day. Treat yourself to a vacation you won’t forget!

This home provided a perfect place for our family to gather to celebrate our mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary. The home is beautiful and outfitted perfectly with everything we could have needed. We only had a couple of questions, and the host always answered quickly with wonderful information. We are grateful we had the opportunity to use this home, pool and lake to create such great and lasting memories!

Amazing stay 10 stars

This is a truly amazing property, beautiful, clean and has everything (extra life jackets, pool toys, sunscreen and so much kitchen items). We had room for all 21 ppl to have a room and had 0 issues! We didn't want to leave the house it was just the best place to be with beautiful decks (2 large ones) gorgeous dock and awesome pool!!

Perfect Getaway

I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a lake/golf getaway! All the amenities you could ask for and a perfect location. The property manager and owners were super responsive and everything was in nearly perfect shape. Hope to be back again, soon!

Wonderful family vacation

The house was amazing and accommodated our entire group. The pool brought hours and hours of enjoyment. Being able to bring a boat was the icing on the cake. We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday and had the best time. Would totally stay here again!

Celebrating 80th Birthday

We enjoyed our time at this property! The Kinderhook community is very nice. It is a great house for a large family gathering. We were celebrating my mothers 80th birthday and had ,over the course of the week, 19 people in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked as is the whole house. The pool was a great area and also stocked well with toys and floats. Wayne was very responsive to communication and great to work with,

Family Memories

This was the perfect place for our extended family vacation! We enjoyed being away from the craziness in the heart of the lake and were able to boat, tube and jetski all day with minimal other boat traffic. Having the boat available for rent at the house was very convenient and easy. Being at the end of a quiet cove made swimming off the dock feel comfortable for all ages. The lillypad was great for the kids to play on and the adults to use for floating. There were more than enough noodles, floats and life jackets of all sizes. There are also plenty of beach towels to use for the lake and boat. We also enjoyed the golf course view and watched deer playing on the course every day. The kitchen is so well equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a coffee maker and a Keurig, several crock pots and a blender. There was plenty of outdoor furniture on both decks for our large family. The bathrooms are well stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper and even shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers in every shower, so no need to bring that. The house feels very homey, not at all like a vacation home. The driveway was intimidating to all of us and so we all ended up just parking on the street and not tempting it. It's a steep walk up and down from cars, but it was worth it and since we spent most of our time at the house or on the water, we didnt go to our cars very often anyway. Nancy was super in responding to all of my questions and concerns before the trip and demonstrated her hospitality over and over again proactively contacting us well ahead of our trip to inform us the pool would not be ready and offering us the opportunity to cancel or receive a discount. So happy we did not cancel. We didnt even really miss the pool. We have done many vacation rentals and so I was surprised Wayne met us for check in and showed us around. It really helped us get quickly acclimated and feel comfortable that we could contact him if we had any problems. He is a great property manager. We all would love to return again in the future and can't wait to see what the pool looks like when its finished!

Our stay was fantastic. There were 8 of us (all above 70) on a golf trip. The house was great, very spacious, very clean, very comfortable, and with a scenic view. Nicole, our host was very quick with on line answers to a few questions and super friendly in a phone conversation. We grilled two evenings and the kitchen was very well stocked with grilling tools. Also, the kitchen was more than well stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, etc..A definite 10 out of 10 rental home. Hope to be back someday.

2nd Time and Loving It!

This was our second stay at this property and won’t be our last. Once again, our family of 16 people, ages 3-66 yrs, had the best time and created some beautiful memories! From check-in to check-out, everything was great. Nicole was super responsive to any questions we had. The house offered all the essentials we needed. The location can’t be beat for a family trip. We chose to make our meals in lieu of eating out so we especially like the table for 10 (we did bring a card table for the little ones to eat at). The pool is the biggest hit for everyone. We also rented a pontoon for 5 days and that was also a lot of fun. The kayaks, tube and life vests were great to have available! The guys enjoyed a round of golf at Old Kinderhook while the women went to town for some shopping. Overall, a perfect family vacation!

Excellent Location

Wonderful home and a perfect stay for our large group! The cove that the home is located on is beautiful and quiet, and the house was well maintained. We loved the pool! We rented a boat from a company based recommended by the owner Nicole, which worked out perfectly. Thanks for a great time!

Amazing spot at the lake!

Absolutley loved our stay here. Only con was the driveway- its quite steep and unexpected. However it was managable! Otherwise fantastic house with all the basics you could need. Would stay again for sure

Family vacation

We have stayed at a number of properties in the Lake of Ozarks and this one is the best. The home didn’t disappoint! It was accurately described in the listing and accommodations couldn’t have been better! The property manager greeted us and explained every detail. Our family ranges in age from 2-67 it includes our children, their spouses and the grandkids and we all loved everything about the home, the pool, golf, boating, and entertainment area in the basement. Great Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation. There were 15 of us, ages 5 months to 64 years. Old Kinderhook community is great! It offers a peaceful location yet close enough for us to drive to many activities. The house was clean, well stocked and offered everything that we needed. The grandkids especially loved the book/play area. The driveway is very steep but 2 cars were able to park in the garage and the other 2 parked on the street in front of the house. Though the weather was on the cooler side, we were able to take advantage of the pool for a couple of days. Plenty of towels on hand to use. Unfortunately this time of year, the water level on the lake was too low to use the pontoon located at the house. However we were able to use the kayaks and paddleboat. Also did some fishing. Wayne, the house manager, was always responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We would definitely recommend this home for anyone planning a vacation.
