Sunsets on the elevated Lake Wallenpaupak lake walk, are a favorite of the visitors in the fall.

The house is close to the area’s great restaurants along the lake, in Honesdale & in downtown Hawley PA.
Wallenpaupak Micro-brewery & indoor golf range, Paupak Hills golf course is amazing in the Fall, & Fairview mini golf is just minutes away.

The award-winning Woodloch spa & resort is very close by in Hawley, PA.
The Poconos has some great vineyards that host fall activities.
Nearby Narrowsburg and Hawley have great Fall festivities going on.
If fishing in the fall is your thing, there is a public boat launch and beach on Rt. 590 which is about 15min away.
Fairview lake (the small lake) is about 10 min away from the house and also has a public boat launch.
This lake is great for serene canoeing, kayaking & fishing.
Fairview lake is stunning in the Fall.
In the evenings you can sit back, relax on the deck with your favorite cocktail or beverage, soak in the mountain air, star gaze and have a great evening.
The brisk fall evenings in Pennsylvania is perfect for relaxing by a fire.

Thanks for the compliment, I love the fireplace too. Christopher was a great guest. He was respectful of the house rules and left the house in great shape. I would definitely give Christopher 5 stars as a guest and would love to host Christopher and his family again.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay and were happy with the accommodations. The location was central to all the sights we like to visit while in the area. The washer and dryer were a plus. The owner was quick to respond to messages and provided detailed information that was relevant to staying there. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great place

The perfect little getting away spot! The house was great! Everything we needed and within a stones throw of everything. Omar was terrific and answers any questions in a timely manner. I will definitely be looking to do business again

Perfect location. It’s a few minutes from where we could load our jet ski into the lake. Minutes from quick shops- take out food- quiet neighbors. We enjoyed our weekend stay! First time staying in the area. 10/10

Peaceful week close to the lake

We were able to book the trip at the last minute. Omar was extremely helpful and flexible. Excellent communications. Check-in process was smooth. The house was clean and has all the amenities we needed. Omar accommodated our request to check out a little later. Overall a very nice restful week. Will be staying again.

I bought this house to do just that and also rent out for short term rentals.

I wanted a property that is close to all the best things around and is a year round destination.
Spring & Summer on Lake Wallenpaupak is a great time of year.
Summer being by the lake to enjoy the water, swimming & boating on those hot summer days.
Take in the Fall Foliage and small country towns. Plus all the Fall Festivals.
Hiking trails in the Pocono Mountains is a ideal for hikers
Skiing in the winter - The house is about 45 minutes away from 5 ski resorts.
Watch the trees bloom and days warm in the Spring.

So much more to do in the Poconos than the Catskills.

Close to quaint country towns, Jim Thorpe is a must see town. petting zoo, Wine Vineyards, Family Fun park, Casinos, golf courses, Bushkill Falls, the Delaware Water Gap rafting and hiking are just some of the activities that the Poconos has to offer all year round.
Plus, Mount Airy Casino is just 40 minutes away.
Award winning WoodLoch Spa & Resort is just 20 minutes away in Hawley, PA
