Mountain bikers paradise! Established -5 star vacation property that we recently renovated. 900 sf, 2 bedroom (king, 2 twins-all memory foam) 1 bath-cabin that has a bike theme. Relax in the two egg chairs in the 350 sf screened in porch. Take a nap in our gravity lounge chair. 175 feet of babbling Knob Creek frontage -ten feet away from the screened in porch. NEW treasure hunt to explore on site. 3 minutes to downtown Brevard. 15 mins to Pisgah and Dupont National Forest- which are both renowned for mountain biking. Brevard College offers several events all year. Don’t miss the annual White Squirrel festival. Asheville is 45 minutes away and Hendersonville is 30 minutes away. There’s 7 wineries in Henderson county to visit. So many breweries and cideries to venture to. New Ecusta trail (rails to trails) will be coming soon also.

Great Cabin, Great Location

Great location - This cabin is in between Pisgah Forest and Dupont Forest. The cabin is quaint and cozy and the screened in back porch and stream in the backyard are wonderful. It also also the slickest bike washing station.There were so many trail and waterfalls to see within minutes. Dealing with the cabin owners was a delight and they were helpful in finding specific things in the area to do. We will go back and enjoy the cabin and surrounding area again. Thank you for a great time!!

Relax in the Cabin

Close to Pisgah National Forest and Brevard and a peaceful location. Screen porch beside stream was very relaxing.

Peaceful

We stayed here for the comfort and peace that the space offered. We recommend it any who enjoy sitting around a fire and nature. Being close to town was a plus.

Mountain Retreat

The house was clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The porch was our favorite. Listening to the running water was very relaxing. The host was great and very responsive. Will stay here again.

Charming vacation cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. Thoughtful updates have been made and the cottage was spotless. The bed was very comfortable for us and the bike wash station was really handy. We like the sound of the gurgling mountain creek and the close proximity to Brevard, Pisgah Natl Forest, and Dupont.

Mnt creek escape

My friends & I had an incredible trip to Brevard for some great mnt biking & the mnt creek escape cabin made it perfect in btw all the riding. A quaint, cabin w a lovely little stream running around the back made for a relaxing stay. Id love to visit again & would definitely recommend it to others.

Great Cabin in Pisgah!

We had a wonderful week staying in this comfortable cozy cabin. The stream that runs next to it was so peaceful and you could enjoy it from a screened patio or outdoors. It was very clean, well stocked, plus extras, and the cabin seemed very spacious. It was close to Brevard for groceries, shopping and dining. Also close to great hiking and mountain biking trails. Thanks to our hosts!!

Awesome place to retreat and mountain bike

I've been to this place several times over the past few years and really love this spot. It feels pretty isolated in the woods with the sound of a creek to drown out any nearby traffic. Very relaxing for me. It also is relatively close to some great mountain bike trails in DuPont, Pisgah, and the town of Brevard. All within 25 minutes. Great place to retreat and experience the beautiful area without feeling like a tourist.

Our stay at the property was very relaxing. The babbling brook just outside the screened in porch was pleasant and tranquil. Modern updates mixed with original elements is nice. For example, keyless entry and complete bathroom remodel. Most of all, the hosts were fantastic. They called in advance to ensure arrival and provide access code as well as made helpful suggestions on dining and attractions. Were available throughout our stay and checked in with reminders prior to checkout.

Spring Break

Had a sweet time here as a family—hiked during the day and enjoyed the fire pit and small creek in the evenings. Great proximity to DuPont, Pisgah, downtown Brevard, and Hendersonville.

Beautiful property!

When we arrived I was impressed before I even went inside….Beautiful flowers everywhere, awesome stream right beside and behind the property, beautiful screened in back porch where we spent a lot of our time. The house was in a perfect location also. We seemed to be secluded even though we were so close to everything. The inside was beautiful as well. Very well stocked with everything. I hope we can visit again soon!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We are super hosts and also have another cabin located in Lake Lure NC called Mountain Lake Escape, and Mtn View Escape in Fletcher. We have been premier property/super hosts for the entire time we have had our lake cabin (over 7 years). Our goal is to have all of our properties as 5 star rentals and to maintain our super host status.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We are only 30 minutes away if something is needed. We believe this cozy cabin is unique because we have put a great deal of effort into renovating it and created a very warm inviting atmosphere. The cabin is bike themed throughout. The 175 feet of babbling creek that runs alongside the cabin, makes this property unique and very calming and peaceful. We have created a bike washing station under the carport that has a clothes line to hang your wet clothes after a muddy ride! We also have two boot/shoe warmers. The laundry room was recently renovated with all new paint, flooring and our owners closet. Enjoy the fire pit which is a stones throw away from the creek. Take a nap in our double hammock. Grill out on summer nights with our gas grill. Play corn hole in the yard, or Big Jenga on the screened in porch. The bathroom has been renovated with shiplap, bead board ceiling, a luxury shower head, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser, and a handcrafted (by my husband) concrete/wood vanity. All of the beds have 1800 count soft linens and memory foam mattresses. The kitchen has a coffee bar with a combo Keurig/drip coffee maker with K cups for you to enjoy. We also have a French press- if you like your coffee brewed that way instead!
