*NO SMOKING INSIDE.

*Up to May 15th of 2025 construction works will likely be taking place on next door property, during the weekdays only. New bungalow is framed up and any noise would more than likely be on the inside at this point in time. However, there could be occasional noise from 8am-7pm {Monday to Friday}.

Approx. 30 - 50ft (across the street) just before, at end of fence and at the old bridge, provides access to Chattahoochee River & fly fishing paradise. The rocking chair front porch is a favorite and offers some views of the river. Save on parking by staying with us downtown. Walk to downtown shopping, liquor store and our famous Betty"s Country Store (IGA) for groceries. Walk to our many restaurants including Paul's Steak House (on the River) where you can dance the night away at Paul's Margarita Deck with live music and seasonal karaoke. Enjoy the indoor Fun Factory with skating rink, go-carts, laser tag, bouncy house & arcade on sunny and rainy days. Water park & tubing during those warm summer days and don't forget the zip lines and rollercoaster, one of our favorites. Helen offers something for everyone.

We had a wonderful time in Helen; and this charming and cozy little bungalow was perfect for us! It was so clean and cute! Cindy was a wonderful host too! I had to text her on a Friday night with a question; and she called with an answer almost immediately! Definately will want to stay here when we visit Helen again!!

Fun, almost peaceful. Would like to come back at Christmas!

We had a great time. Everything was a short walk away. The only downside was there was construction going on right beside our place. It was very noisy. That started very early and didn’t finish until late afternoon.We even had to ask them to please move their van, so we could get off the street.

Jeep Fest Visit

We loved the place! Great location and easy walk to downtown! Bonus being there was a liquor store and little grocery store right around the corner! The front porch was so peaceful to sit on and the place was perfect space wise for the 2 of us and our dog! We will definitely be back!

Just What We Needed

We had a great time, wasn't many people there. It was a restful stay, yet we did a lot of walking. This is our 3rd time staying and taking our dog Tippy. Very clean and decorated so cute.

Catching the end of Oktoberfest

Location of this property is excellent walking distance to the town. Would be great in summer because river is right across the street. My traveling companions claimed that their beds were not very comfortable. And due to my age, the toilet was quite low, but I managed. Altogether most everything was excellent. Excellent host, cute quaint setting. Home had everything you need for a good vacation.

The property was very cute. It was well stocked with the things you need. The location is on a quiet street but right on the edge of Helen so walking everywhere was very easy. Cindy, the owner, is very responsive if you need anything at all. I would absolutely stay here again.

wonderful for adults and older children

Wonderful walking distance to most of Helen attractions. Those with young children may prefer other end of town for activities. Loved the porch and rockers. Really enjoyed first tubing of the river and the hike to Anna Ruby falls was awesome! Great location for eateries! House was immaculate and really appreciated that fact.

Clean and close to town

The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We liked that it was close to everything and we were able to easily stop back at the cottage during the day to check on and feed our dog. The main bedroom is tight, not much room to walk around or put your luggage. We used the second bedroom for our luggage and to get dressed. Overall, would recommend for 2 adults with 1-2 small children.

Amazing property and trip

I would return again and again! The location was perfect, one street back from Main Street with access to sidewalks and a nice field to walk our pup. Cindy was always available for our questions and it's obviously she really cares for her property and 'clients'. The bungalow is in a nice safe neighborhood and everyone we met was helpful and friendly. Sitting on the porch just greeting people as they walked by! I will say on the weekends, about every 10-15 minutes a bus from Cool River Tubing goes by that can get loud, but you don't hear it from inside the house; and they didn't go down the street during the weekdays. The bungalow was super clean and had plenty of kitchen ware (that we didn't use!), soap and body wash in the shower, laundry detergent etc. We honestly brought to much with us. The couch and chair were extremely comfy, as were both bedrooms. Sleeping on the twin trundle wasn't bad, but it will move and squeak a little. I like soft mattresses so it worked out great for me. Everything is really within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed the location for traveling to numerous nearby waterfalls and hikes (within a 30 minute car ride). The only thing I will say is the porch furniture could use a few cushions, but that may be because we are a little older! The semi-adjoining bungalow did have seat cushions in their rockers. We will definitely be back!!

Everything you need is there bring clothes and food that is it. The cabin sits about a block behind main street so you are away from the heavy noise but so nice you can walk to everything. The cabin is cozy and Cindy is amazingly friendly. You will not regret renting one of their cabins.

Absolutely thrilled with our second stay at this cottage. More than clean it was immaculate and so well stocked that we brought nothing with us and everything we needed and more was provided. The location could not be better! Easy walk to downtown Helen. We go every year to October Fest and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. Our host Cindy was so kind and helpful. Highly highly recommend this property. It can't be topped!!! Book it you will not be disappointed!

Everything was great! The location was perfect and we were able to walk to downtown shops, dining and the grocery store was just around the corner. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch across from the river with our coffee in the morning. The host was very quick to reply when booking and during our stay. We will definitely be back!
