Welcome to the Crescent Moon Cottage, your dream retreat in the heart of Harbor Country, Michigan! Tucked away on a large wooded lot with towering trees, this 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bath home is a true gem. Step inside and be greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the home. The spacious open concept floor plan is flooded with natural light, showcasing the beautiful hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream featuring high end stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and a large island with seating for 5. The adjacent dining area is perfect for hosting family and friends with seating for 10. The living room is designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, offering a welcome space to unwind, watch movies and share memories with family and friends. The main level is also home to the primary bedroom, a spacious retreat with an en-suite bath, complete with a double vanity, a soaking tub, and a separate walk in shower. The guest room en-suite on the main level is equally inviting with it’s king size bed and private bath with walk in shower. Both bedrooms have large windows that allow natural light to flood the rooms during the day, creating a bright and airy feel. The second level is home to three additional guest rooms with several beds. One guest room features two queen beds and a bathroom just across the hall. Another guest room offers the perfect space for a family with three queen beds and connects to a Jack n Jill bathroom. Also connecting to that bathroom is yet one more guest room with a queen bed.

Outdoors, the magic continues with countless amenities starting with the pristine heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, pickleball court, 1/2 court basketball and a huge yard for the little ones to run around.

The screened porch is a perfect nook for sipping lemonade on a lazy afternoon. In the evening you can cozy up around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and sharing stories of the days’ adventures.

The Crescent Moon Cottage is located just a short drive to the Lake Michigan beaches, charming Harbor Country towns, wineries/breweries, golf courses and hiking trails.

Weekend Getaway!

Beautiful private home, extremely spacious. Great host!! We truly enjoyed our stay for our annual girls trip. Close to entertainment and the wineries. The house was clean and very accommodating. The host Gina and the house was a gem. We will definitely revisit.

Union Pier Summer Fun

The house was very conveniently located to the main road. The house was exactly as pictures but with an even better layout than expected. The pool with the beautiful hydrangea bordered fence was the highlight of the trip. We used it daily and it was glorious. The pool deck had wonderful shade and even the pool had shade in the morning and again in the late afternoon. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and so well maintained. It was a joy to cook in this kitchen. While we would have loved a basement, we utilized the pickle ball court and large yard instead. The mosquitos around the porch/property were plentiful so my only recommendation would be to spray for mosquitoes before guests arrive. Beds were very comfortable, showers all were excellent, nest thermometers kept everyone comfortable. We would come back to this vacation house. Gina was a responsive host!

Raz Rd. House

This house is very comfortable for family members sharing living space if you are not routinely living together. Plenty of comfortable bedrooms and baths. Lots of privacy. The screened in porch is the place to gather and just talk until after the sun sets. Perfect vacation if you wake up, make pancakes for breakfast, go in the pool all day, make dinner, chat on the porch and go to bed (repeat every single day!)

Beautiful house and property with lots to do!

The 6 adults and 4 children completely enjoyed the pool, the basketball court, and the fire pit. Also the house is charmingly decorated and cozy. with everything we could possibly need for the pool and the beach. We were all able to get to the beach many times. My only suggestion is that maybe when the house isn't being rented you go through all of the kitchen items! There are way too many and not exactly conveniently placed. We did do a lot of cooking! It took us most of the week to figure out where everything was. But otherwise seriously we loved the house and would go back again! And not that you have any control over this, but some neighbors were smoking pot and the smell drifted over. Ah well! Thanks! Diane

Amazing house for multi-generational families!

This is the second time my family has stayed at this beautiful house, and we hope it’s not the last! We had a multi-generational group ranging from age 1 to grandparents, and the house is perfect for everyone. Lake Michigan is such a short bike ride away, but the pool is so nice for those times in between when you don’t want to go all the way to the beach. The hot tub was also a nice addition! We love how well stocked the kitchen is since my family loves to cook. But close to great restaurants too if you don’t feel like cooking.This house is a gem, don’t pass it up!

Perfect home for a family of 10

We met Gina upon arrival, a nice welcoming touch. Our three-generation family enjoyed the clean and spacious home. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need. Our grandkids loved their comfy beds. The heated pool, basketball/pickleball court were exceptional. These amenities, along with New Buffalo/Union Pier shops and beach, made for a perfect stay!

Great House, Great Pool

Our family gathering of 13 was a huge success largely due to this great home. Although this was supposed to be a beach vacation, we couldn’t get the children out of the pool. The large, well stocked kitchen made preparing family meals a breeze. Comfortable beds for all.

Family vacation

We had 15 family members from 13-78 for our yearly vacation and had a wonderful time here! The house, pool area, and all outdoor areas were all very well kept up and extremely clean. The pool and pickleball/basketball court were big hits with everyone and used everyday. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook and serve meals in. We enjoyed the screened in porch as well as the fire pit at night. This was our 20th year of doing a big family vacation and I would say this ranked as one of the top houses we have rented! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Fantastic Weekend at a Beautiful Home

This house is amazing! It's gorgeous, so roomy, beautiful open concept main floor with two bedrooms, each with its own en suite (also a main floor powder room). Upstairs were three more bedrooms and a bathroom. The hot tub and heated swimming pool were perfect for creating a fun and relaxing weekend for our entire group! Gina the host was super responsive and helpful, everything went so smoothly, between the amazing house and great host, it was a perfect weekend!

Fully stocked home, stress free stay

We had such a wonderful stay! We have stayed at a variety of homes this size and this was by FAR the most well stocked home, from kitchen utensil to pool toys and games, there were no items we missed! It really made our stay stress free. Three couples plus kids made us a family of 10, and we were so happy that the table and living room could accommodate us all (I looked at so many homes with 4+ bedrooms but only had seating at a table for 6 or so!). We had a few questions during our stay and Gina was very kind, helpful and quick to respond. This is a gem of a vacation home, we will definitely be back!

Family Reunion

Spectacular home fit the needs of 10 adults and 6 children under the age of 4. Layout of the home was great and made the flow great with a great screened in porch when it rained for 1/2 a day, basketball court, pool & a fire pit. Refrigerators out on the porch and a great deck for BBQ. Didn't need to wander off the property very often. One of the best trips ever!

Loved our stay

This was our first trip to Michigan, we had several families from different states who met and we all loved this property. Everything you could possible need is there, the beds were comfy with many sleeping arrangement options. Extra towels, plenty of dishes, host responded in a timely manner. 5/5!

Wonderful house and property

A terrific home with well stocked central kitchen and dining room, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, and a beautiful pool with lounge chairs. and outdoor dining table with grill, all in a woodsy setting. Short bike or drive to the nearby beach. Short drive to New Buffalo to the south and the Warren Dunes to the north.

Perfectly Peaceful

This beautifully curated, cozy cottage is nothing short of incredible! Nestled in the peaceful woods of Union Pier, Gina has thought of nearly everything to make this property as accommodating as possible! From outlet covers for our busy babies, to a fully stocked kitchen that made every meal an easy task; it’s open concept was the perfect setting for our families to gather for meals, games, and endless laughs! The screened in porch was the perfect transition to the outdoor space; allowing us to enjoy our morning coffee before pool time and continue those late night chats, when the air cooled, but we just weren’t quite ready to call it a night! Poolside felt like our own private resort! Tons of seating, canopy umbrellas providing ample shade, and a pool hoop for the kids (or husbands) who need to stay active! Traveling with four families of young children is not for the faint of heart, but this perfect rental made our stay SO easy and enjoyable! We are so grateful to Gina for her hospitality, making the first vacation for two of our babies truly unforgettable.
