Weekend Trip

Lovely stay here! The condo unit is nicely refinished and outfitted for a nice stay. We enjoyed the pool, ocean and grounds with our pup. Nice little dog park area at the rear for his morning outing. Recommended!

We were comfortable and it was perfect, with one exception, the check out time was too early. 10am is too early and I’ve never had a check out time that early, where we are rushing to get out of there without getting charged extra.

Hidden Gem

We had a wonderful experience and will stay here again!! It was clean and updated! My daughter had a blast at the pools. We had no idea this place was here. We live in Houston and frequent Galveston. This is the perfect place to stay for kids and pets! We have recommended to our friends with kids! And we love this unit/condo and will stay here again! Thanks so much!

Noise above was brutal😞

Overall, this was a beautiful condo. Thursday night was great and quiet. Friday was a different story. The people above us were running and jumping and very loud. We had to finally complain to the property manager, and he told us he couldn’t do anything. The people/kids were running around at 5a. Needless to say, we probably will not be staying again.

Friendly! Very dog friendly!

We have had nothing but nice staff and residents welcome us. We brought our 2 big dogs and 2 kids. Kitchen had everything provided for cooking. One complaint I do have is, the people staying above us had loud continuous stomping around until their children got ready for bed. And loud stomping again bright and early in the morning. If you stay here, make sure to be mindful of people sleeping below you.

Family Getaway

The elevators were very janky and finicky. With the rain, the stairs were slick. A member of our family has knee issues and lugging things up and down stairs was difficult. The unit itself was fine. The floors were dirty and we had to use a washcloth to mop it as best we could. The unit wifi never worked. We had to use the Maravilla wifi instead. There were no curtains or blinds on the sliding glass doors. We had to do a makeshift curtain with a sheet to provide some privacy. The bathroom was the only spot that was completely private. The unit also would not sleep 6. It's a one bedroom with one queen bed and two twin bunkbeds. The couch is fine, but only one person could sleep on it. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I would look for another spot to try before going back to this building.

They control the a.c … we were hot the whole stay it was set to 79 and it hit up to 81 at night . Tried to get ahold of the property manager and no response. The sink was clogged 5 out of 7 days we were there . SAVE YOUR MONEY. I WILL NOT RENT HERE AGAIN !

Short but sweet

Our over all stay was good. The weather could have cooperated better but considering the time of year you take your chances. We made the best of the situation and visited many places . As far as the property in general it was being updated which it definitely was in need of. Our unit was nice as it show in the photos. The kitchen could be better equipped with more baking sheets/pans, the shower handles was falling off and so was the bedroom door knob but everything else was newer and was nice. The biggest issue was the filthy floors. They were disgusting. A better cleaning service would be recommended. Over all a nice place.

Clean, cozy, perfect small space.

Enjoyed our quick 2 night stay here. The space is very clean and put together. We used the grills by the heated pool to grill chicken our first night there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The resort property is perfectly put together for fun. We used the heated pool twice. The other pools were gorgeous but too cold for us to enjoy at this point of the year. It was just me and my 2 kids (ages 7 and 9). The bunks seemed like a great idea but ultimately were small and they said not really comfortable to sleep in. For sure the top bunk is only usable by a little person. Lol. My 7 year old daughter was able to use it but it’s very close to the ceiling. The master bedroom was small but put together perfectly. Very nice linens and mattress was comfortable. Only complaint on the bed was the bed frame was a cheap metal frame that moved every time I changed position in the bed so definitely was annoying. This could be an easy fix. Tips for the owner: need a basic broom in the unit. We ate popcorn and of course it was all over the floor. Looked all around for a broom to sweep up. No extra trash bags in the unit to change out the trash. Not a huge issue for our short stay but couldn’t change out the trash. The handle on the shower is missing the screw to keep it on so you have to hold it on to turn the water on, another easy fix.

233 condo maravilla

Beautiful condo some view of gulf, end of sea wall. Exterior of property needs updating. Condo owner had all wonderful little extras. Coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, shower gel and soaps and lotion, lovely towels, bedding, furnishings, tissues, super clean, sleeps six, refurbished beautifully, huge tv, need small tv in bedroom. Great out door chairs lovely terrace. Loved the location and pool. A beautiful experience and priced so very well. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy Condo!

This condo is in a perfect location away from the bustling hub of the Pleasure Pier, but still close to all the fun attractions Galveston has to offer! We walked into a very neat and tidy, cozy condo with pool and gulf views on the 2nd floor of the complex. Our girls are 9 and 13 and even though there were bunks available, they ended up sleeping on the pullout couch. The top bunk is really not that accessible for most children due to the distance from the bed to the ceiling. We would have rated this location 5 stars if it wasn't for the herd of buffalo that were staying on the 3rd floor above us. All we could hear was running back and forth across the ceiling late into the evening. Of course, we know that comes with condo-living and there's not much that can be done. We loved the convenience of having multiple pools on site, and we're grateful that one was heated since our girls were desperate to go swimming in 55 degree weather. The check-in process was a little funky. I followed the emailed instructions for late check-in, but didn't realize I also needed to get a parking permit from the main office the following day. Parking availability was ok for the most part. I'm glad I asked another guest how they got the code to get into the pool area because they were the ones who told me I needed to get the code and wristbands from the front desk. The checkout process was a bit more difficult to figure out. I never received the emailed instructions as the guest online dashboard indicated, but I was able to find it by clicking the hamburger menu and it was in the drop-down options. Overall, our stay was great! Everyone left Galveston happy.
