Calm Kaua‘i Delights. Located in the leading resort community of Princeville, Kauai, Wyndham Bali Hai Villas truly captures the splendor of Hawaii. Princeville and the neighboring town of Hanalei offers an abundance of restaurants, beaches, galleries.

Your 2 bedroom sleeps 6 It has a king-size bed in the master bedroom along with a Jacuzzi tub. The 2nd bedroom has either a queen bed or two full-size beds. I have both, so if you have a preference please let me know, and as long as it's available we will do our best to get that for you. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Your condo is fully equipped for cooking with a full-size kitchen complete with an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, glassware, silverware, and full-size refrigerator. There are flat-screen televisions in each bedroom plus in the living room.

Upon arrival, the 24-hour concierge will check you in and provide your keys. The resort collects an occupancy tax for the State of Hawaii of 6.24 (subject to change) per day, not per person, per unit.

At the time of booking, please provide the name and address with zip of just 1 adult who will be present at check-in. It is important to note that the guest whose name is on the reservation, must be the one checking in, and must be at least 21 years old at the time of check-in. This person can only have 1 reservation in their name. This is who the resort will give the keys to. Please be sure of the name you provide for checking in as if this has to be changed, Wyndham charges $129 for a new guest certificate.

Nice place

The place is nice and clean. Best part is, you can opt in an air-conditioned unit which by the way should be in every unit! The unit is upgraded basing from the first time we've been in Bali Hai years ago.

Great place in Princeville!

We had a great time at the property. The Wyndham resort provides just enough "resort-like" amenities without the high cost of some of the large resorts in the area. The town of Hanalei with lots of restaurants and shops is only a short drive away, so staying at the Wyndham is perfect. We also enjoyed driving the opposite direction to Kilauea which was only about 15 minutes away. The unit itself was well-stocked and perfect for a family of four. I would definitely recommend this property vs staying at a high-cost resort for any group that wants to enjoy Kaua'i without the high cost of the big resorts.

Expected more for the price

We rented a 2 bed 2 bath unit. At first, we were happy to be on the bottom floor until the people above us got in. I don't know if the ceiling is just too thin but it was like they were moving furniture all night, literally until 10:00 PM. Then first thing in the morning it started again. In addition, they were up at 6:00 AM talking on speaker on their patio. I called the front desk and they said they would send security... but It never happened. We started not being in our very expensive condo because of the upstairs people. By the third day, they left and new people arrived... but sadly... it was the same. I just think the ceiling separating us was just too thin. In addition, there should be clear rules that there is a quiet time between certain hours for talking on your phone outside. People think they are being considerate to their families by going outside, but what about the guests that are beside or below them? Also, I was not happy with the cleanliness of our unit. When you walked in barefoot your feet got really dirty quickly from the wood floor. Also, the dishes and silverware were gross. The worst part was the blender. We opened it and although they may have washed it, they didn't take it apart so there was a horrible mold between the part you unscrew. It was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom shower had mold growing in the corners and the towels were clean but soiled from prior use. We love Princeville but will never return to this location again. I do have to say that the staff was very nice. The pool looked nice too but it was crowded. Oh... we also used their barbeques. They were okay but there was no place to sit when your food was cooking. We had to stay there and stand. It was just too expensive to stay there for what we got in return.
