Have a picnic or dine alfresco on the screen porch while enjoying the ocean breeze. Additional TVs, a Blu-ray player, two stereo/CD players, and surround sound are also on hand for indoor entertainment.

There are two main bedrooms, one with a private jetted tub, when it's time to get some shut-eye.

Gail's Force boasts other great amenities for you this year! A lockable storage space is available to store beach equipment and other items, and high-speed WiFi for your laptop is offered for your convenience. Free Netflix streaming is available through the Blu-ray player.

Great house

Great house in great location. Home was very clean and spacious. Parking was tight with full size trucks and rod racks but manageable with some careful navigation.

Lovely home

Overall, a great experience. All the comforts of home. Easy check in/out. Plenty of games & puzzles for rainy day or family game night. Walls actually very thick. Hard to hear anything in the other rooms. Great views from the deck while having morning coffee. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a nice area and the house has a decent layout. The housekeeping was very disappointing. Dishes were put away dirty, stove was dirty, shower curtains all had mildew stains, Grill was filthy and rusty, one closet was partially filled with window screens, doorknob was missing from one closet door and two lamps had bad switches.

Location is perfect, but the rest needs help.

The house is large and happily held our families for a birthday week getaway. Bring your own sheets and towels. And some tools just in case. The kitchen sink dripped the entire time. And the knob to control the hot tub in the master bath was missing. Several screens were missing or torn. Just general disrepair. But the location was great, great views of the ocean, the lookout was a favorite of ours.

Very clean with some maintenance issues. The dryer did not work, sliding door locks did not work on any of the doors. Piece of ceiling was falling in one of the bedrooms. The worst part was the dryer did not work though. Overall a nice house.

Gail's Force 330

This is a lovely, spacious, clean home with a terrific view and our family truly enjoyed our stay for the week! The beds and furniture were all super comfortable and we all really loved the reading nook with the pretty view. One of the King bedrooms might be better served as a Queen, as there is little walking room, not much space to access the closet and no bedside table on one side. The kitchen was well stocked and there is plenty of seating in the dining room for the whole family. Minor issues with the house would include the A/C on the upper story just not able to quite keep things cool enough during the day. The thermostat remained at about 78 for the majority of the day. Also, just some light maintenance that needs addressing, as we weren't able to open the main balcony door upstairs at all and we weren't able to turn on 3 of the lamps in separate rooms. Bathrooms were lovely, especially the largest one with the jacuzzi tub. We would definitely stay again!!!

Thanksgiving Rental

House is very nice and comfortable. Great location. Spacious kitchen for cooking. Beds are very comfortable. Thermostat was hard to control and Heater on lower level needed repair. Was fixed in 2 days—we had 2 cold nights. Large stains on carpet and some minor repairs needed. Overall a nice house.

Great location/Disappointing bedrooms

Although the location and views were awesome, I was very disappointed in the bedroom furnishings. No headboards, extremely cheap furniture, very cheap pillows and lamps, no mattress protectors. Peeling ceiling in foyer.....I will not stay here again. I expected more for the price.

Comfy home

One of the best houses that we rented in 15 years !

Spacious, comfortable and clean ! Great views, close to the beach , conveniently located . We're been coming to the outer banks for 15 years and this house was the best house we've ever rented. I will say the Wi-Fi was very slow. The AC needs to be better regulated. Hot on the top floor and cold on the second floor.

Wonderful Week on the beach!

The house is beautiful, location is optimal to grocery store, restaurants, etc. 5 bedrooms all on the main level. Kitchen, dining and living room are big and comfortable. The decks are spacious. The viewing room up from the living room is when I stayed mostly, watching the waves. Very nice quiet neighborhood with beach access about 3 houses down. The house is as beautiful as the pictures.

Excellent Home with a Great Location

This house is perfect for a family vacation. It is centrally located in Avon near the main shopping center on Hatteras Island. Very close walk to the beach, locally owned restaurants and shops. The house is very well maintained and is very clean. The large living room and dinning area provides enough seating to accommodate the entire family. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next vacation trip to Hatteras Island.
