very cozy.... dogs welcome. Walk to coffee shop or bank. 4 miles to OWA. 7 miles to beach express that takes you to our beautiful white sand beaches.

3rd time at this property. Very comfortable. Great location. Cannot beat the price, especially on a holiday weekend. Continent to Fairhope, Foley, and the Gulf Shores areas. Quiet, established, peaceful, neighborhood. We walked to breakfast one day, and had door dash another. One of our favorites to stay at.

We didn’t stay a single night because of bed bugs. Host refused even a partial refund even after admitting to having to treat property for bed bugs. Host accused us of bringing bugs in.

Can't beat it!

This is our second stay at this property. Very convenient to our family in Fairhope and Elberta, easy access to the beach, and shopping as well as food places.Non pretentious, comfortable, reasonable, dog friendly. Will stay again!

Great place!

Nice kitchen and bedrooms! We moved TV into the bedroom so we could watch TV in bed. The tub is nice!!

Nice 4 night stay

The house is not fully renovated yet. Despite this, it was very clean and did not cause a problem. The bath was sweet and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning! A red headed woodpecker made a regular appearance. We will book again.

Housing while husband was in Rehab

While on vacation my husband broke his hip and spent several days in the hospital and rehab before he was able to travel home. I spent several days hotel hopping until I found this VRBO. Home was perfect and affordable for my needs.

Great Location

When we first walked in it had an odd smell, my wife thought it was smokey, I thought it was the smell of an old closed up garage. Not a big deal for us, but it could be aired out. The space was nice, and clean. The couch and chair in the living room area could probably be replaced or recovered but we didn't use them much anyway. Our dog loved the place, for us it was mostly just a place to crash at night. The other item that others have mentioned is not having a shower in the bathroom, the shower head on the tub can be tricky but it works. It is in a great location, in a quiet neighborhood off the main street, and close to everything we needed to get to. It was also nice to be able to walk our dog around the block, and down the alley. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will consider it again should we get back to the area.

Windows was not covered, no hot water for the first day. He was upset because I covered the windows with towels. I don’t feel like there should be uncovered windows when renting a property and then get upset when the tenants cover them for privacy

Very comfortable

We had a weekend stay to do some mardi gras time with family. The house was perfect for us and our pooch. PLENTY of room. Comfortable bed. HOT water for the tub- no shower but but that does not affectour stay

Honeymoon getaway

Stayed here for our honeymoon. The cottage was overall nice. It was under renovation which was ok. It has a bad smell, kinda like a damp basement.

Cute place. Spacious two bedroom. The power company shut the power off when we first arrived, but it was turned back on in the first 10 minutes. The handheld shower was tedious and cumbersome to use when shampooing hair after a day at the beach. A real shower would be nice. We did see one massive cockroach one night. But other than that it was a really cute place to stay. Private. Quiet. Side street. 5 minute drive to just about everything.

Great place to stay

The listing is accurate and the host was wonderful. We arrived for spring break to find our original accommodation was not going to work and were desperate. Found thus great place to stay and were able to salvage our trip.

Great property for our stay

We needed an affordable place to stay for quite some time to help with a family member who had surgery. This was perfect. We had our privacy and the location was perfect for all of our needs.

The property fit our needs. The shower situation could be addressed. We were aware of the shower situation going into this but didn’t think it would such a inconvenience.

Perfect location for baseball tournament

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel setup this is not for you. This was perfect for our family of three to stay in while in town for The Perfect Game Gulf Shores baseball tournament. Clean and closer to the main fields we played on. Shower is awkward as it does not have a curtain so it was more of a sit down shower. You can tell it is still not completely remodeled, but for the price it was perfect. Would stay again. Even the dog loved it.

The location was very nice . Roomier than expected. The cleanliness was nice. The furniture could use an upgrade but worked okay. It was an overall good experience. Would like to have a shower. Would stay again.
