From the library filled with Texas books and memorabilia to the tasty coffee from her favorite local roaster, you will be immersed in the Texas experience! She is also a very experienced natural gardener and advocate for preserving Dallas' natural plants and greenery. You will definitely notice the lovely natural greenery around the property. Many have commented on the cozy feeling of the home and how it might remind you of being at Granny's.

Guests are welcome to use the driveway, front yard and patio spaces, as well as all interior rooms of the house. There is no guest access to the garage.
This Austin Stone house is set in the Dallas era of trains and art deco. The walls have been painted by a local artist to echo suitcase silks and leather trunks. Televisions are a modern touch in each bedroom and the living room. The kitchen is accented with black and gold handles on cabinetry while still sporting up-to-date appliances. A reading room is stocked with games and Texas themed reading.
A car is nice, but not necessary. This home is less than a 10 minute walk to great restaurants. With the hottest Dallas attractions within such close proximity, Uber and Lyft are wonderful options - often more affordable than the cost of parking your car! If you prefer public transportation, the closest bus station is just a 5 minute walk.
