Great Family Vacation Spot

The property is in a great location! The neighborhood is so cute; it is a quick walk to the beach and an easy drive to plenty of food locations. For us, this place was ideal; it was close to many things yet away from the crazy crowds of people. I recommend visiting Henderson State Park, as well as Grayton Beach State Park. The house was very clean and well-stocked, and the pool was great for the kids. The arcade games and foosball table were a big plus, too! The garage has a beach wagon, sand toys, chairs, and an umbrella. I would recommend bringing your own toilet paper and paper towels. Though the house had plenty, they are both very thin. Callie was very quick to respond and help us when we had to reach out to her after we managed to lock ourselves out of the house, lol. I definitely would recommend this place to others, especially families or a girls/guys trip. I'm hoping to book again during the summer.

Decent Property

Overall this was a decent house conveniently located near the beach and restaurants/attractions. Owner was quick to respond which was nice and appreciated! Cons: Two of the bedrooms did not have dressers to keep clothes in and did not have any hangers, the owner was quick to have hangers delivered which we really appreciated, but there was still no way to keep non hangable clothes stored which was frustrating. There were no spatulas in the kitchen so we had to buy our own, and the oven mitts were dirty so we had to wash them before we used them. The ice maker on the fridge did not make much ice at all so we had to buy ice for our coolers. By the description on the listing, we thought that the tv had streaming services that we could use that were provided by the owner but that's not the case, you have to log in to your own accounts, so if you don't have directv you won't be able to watch cable, which wasn't a huge deal for us but we've never stayed anywhere that did provide cable so we we're kind of surprised. All of the things mentioned are to help improve the stay for future guests, especially for the amount of money to stay at this property. Besides those things, we enjoyed our stay.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have been visiting the Destin / Miramar Beach area for years on vacation and wanted to have a small piece of it for ourselves. We love the spacious floor plan, private pool, and short walk to the beach. With our beach wagon full of essentials like towels, chairs and sand toys, we can easily make the walk in about 10 minutes with our small children. The neighborhood is nicely secluded but also close to all the action that Destin and Miramar Beach have to offer.

The home has a spacious floor plan with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with one of the largest floor plans in the neighborhood. The kitchen bar is huge with seating for 6, and the dining table can also accommodate 6 for large gatherings. The homes are close together in the neighborhood, but the privacy fence around the pool and backyard make it feel like a private oasis!

The beach is a short 10-min walk from the home and the neighborhood has private gated access. No need to worry about limited public parking to access the beautiful white sugar sand beaches of the Emerald Coast!
