This 2000 sq.ft. modern home was completed in December 2021 in a mix of Scandinavian and modern farmhouse style. Clean and simple but yet comfortable is our goal. It is lakefront with stairs down to a 16'x20' dock. It has a large deck for your enjoyment.
The main floor has an open floor plan from the kitchen to the living room with sliding doors leading out from the living room to the large deck.
The living room has a cozy propane fireplace for you to use on cold summer night or the shoulder season or winter time. Other heat sources in the house is an electric heat-pump that also provides air-condition in the summer. There are ceiling fans in four of the rooms.
The kitchen has all you need for cooking; a full size range, fridge and dishwasher. We have a propane BBQ on the deck for your disposal. There is a large dining room table with chairs for eight people so you can enjoy nice meals together.
There are three good size bedrooms; one on the main floor and two upstairs. All the beds are king size and has very comfortable mattresses. Upstairs there is a queen size pull-out sofa with a memory foam mattress. We have down comforters for winter time and high quality sheets.
Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; one with a walk-in shower and one with a bathtub/shower. The bathrooms have in-floor heat and on demand hot-water. There is also a separate powder room.
The upstairs living room has a 55” Smart TV. We have really good wifi and most cell phones have decent reception.
The deck is large and overlooks the lake. The stairs to the dock and many and fairly steep. We have a 16’x20’ dock for your use from about May 15-September 30 (depending on the amount of water left in the lake). There is a two-person canoe and a small kayak for your use and paddle boards can be rented locally.
We do not allow for any kind of pets as it’s prohibited in our rental permit. Our rental permit limits us to a total of 8 people and 3 cars. Please obey by this rule as we do not want to lose our rental permit.
The cabin is located about three miles from Joseph and seven miles from Enterprise with restaurants, galleries, shopping and the bronze art walk.
We live in Wallowa County ourselves so we are available should you have any questions or if something needs attention.
While this cabin is new to the rental pool we have been Airbnb Superhosts for the past six years with another property.

Our rental permit limits us to a total 3 cars. Please obey by this rule as we do not want to lose our rental permit.
There is no room for boats, trailers and RV’s. You can put your boat in the lake at the boat slip on the South or North side of the lake. You can park your boat trailer on the South or North side of the lake. You are welcome to park your boat at the dock overnight at your own risk.
We have shared driveway with our neighbor. It is fairly steep and in the winter you need 4 wheel drive, traction/studded tires and chains available. We will provide the phone number to a towing company should you get stuck. Tow bill is at renters expense.
