My friend and I had a pleasant time. Your property is beautiful, quiet and overall peaceful. The inside of the home is of course very cute and novelty in the best way possible. Unique guest house near Hilo

Amazing little guest house near Hilo! Hawaiian decorated with wood carved pieces. Every detail is thought of & home is very comfortable. Good location for everything around Hilo & Vocanos National Park.

Enjoy your visit to the Big Island as a "resident"

A restful, peaceful and private guest cottage outfitted with everything needed and more. Located less than 30 minutes south of Hilo Airport, it is well-situated to enjoy all the offerings of the region, including the active volcano. For us, it served as home base while visiting family. We especially valued the owner's masterful wood carvings that helped give the cottage its uniquely Hawaiian vibe. We also appreciated the detailed guest guidelines intended to keep the ohana in its best condition and preserve it for enjoyment by others.

Great tropical retreat

Hale Hapu’u was a wonderful retreat. Very clean, cozy, had most everything we needed, and we especially loved the lanai which is beautifully done and the perfect spot for eating, studying, and just spending time. We really appreciated to attention to detail that was put into this guest house!

Hawaiian Paradise

The ohana was absolutely beautiful with original artwork and other decor that msde it feel like Hawaii inside and out. We loved the outdoor tub and everything in general was comfortable and well situated. No issues finding it, though I could see how it may be difficult to find in the dark, the owner's instructions are clear and pictures help guide you. Awesome smashburger stand just 8 minutes away. Highly recommend.

Above and beyond expectations

3 lovely nights at Scott and Tracy’s place. Decor was so cool. Frogs, birds and evening downpours were extra bonus. We loved our stay. Don’t miss out - use the bathtub!

Everything was amazing !

A 5 minute drive to a scenic ocean view with places to sit on the rocks , close to the highways to get to volcanoes national . The house was beautiful and everything we needed !

Wonderful location, fully equipped, every detail has been thought of. There is a beautiful area. I’ll talk where you can have a bath, which is so well set up and private.. We were so glad that we booked this place, zero regrets!!!!

Hawaiian getaway

This house was an absolite delight to stay in. The Hawaiian theme was so fun, the home was clean, and extremely well organized. They have the cutest outdoor areas to spend time hanging out in too. Also, the bed and pillows were the most comfortable i've ever slept on while on vacation! Would definitely recommend this property!

This property is absolutely amazing!! Every little detail has been thought of. Very clean! Owner was very responsive to questions. I wish we had been able to enjoy all of the amenities but the erupting volcano kept us in the park. The outdoor tub with the lush surroundings 
truly is paradise! Comfy beds too.thank you for hosting us in your beautiful property.
