Reser med familjen eller ta tid för dig själv, kommer du att älska att komma hem till denna vackra hem. Tre sovrum med egna badrum anpassade badrum i marmor. Bara en kort promenad till Makuu klippor att titta på valar går förbi. Den asiatiska inspirerad inredning är fantastisk. Jag har samlat konst i hela Asien och du är säker på att njuta av de många ristningar och målningar. Den "Man Cave" har en gigantisk platt-TV, biljardbord, darttavla och mer. Hemmet är på ett tunnland och jag bor i en stuga på egendom. Den anlagda Fastigheten har många fruktträd för dig att "plocka" från. Jag har cyklar för din användning för att utforska området.
Hemmet ligger i Hawaiian Paradise Park underavdelning. Centralt beläget till flygplatsen, 20 minuter, lavaflöde 30 minuter och Volcano National Park 30 minuter.

Beautiful house for vacation and retreat

The place is located in a quiet and peaceful area. It is only about 20 minutes from Hilo. The place is amazingly beautiful and spacious. It is filled with arts the owner collecting from traveling many places in the world. The house is fully equipped for both short-term and long-term stay. The garden is beautiful with many fruit trees to admire. Highly recommend for travelers/visitors looking for quietness, peace, and nature beauty.

Honeymoon Stay

Great hideaway on Hilo side of Island

Spacious, clean, furnished "home" located in quiet area. Host very responsive to inquiries and requests. Fully furnished with sports equipment. Property full of fauna that produces fruit (albeit we were there at low season) One drawback - house is located some time from Hilo (depending on traffic) so plan your excurstions accordingly

Great house and host with caveats.

House was well kept and clean. Layout was great for us, beds were comfortable. The multiple patios were wonderful and the majority of our time at the house was spent at one. Loved having the bikes and would ride to Paradise Point in the mornings to catch sunrise. It really doesn’t get any better.So the caveat…no where in the current listing does it mention no AC. Mornings and evenings are fine. But if you’re there in the late afternoon, it’s uncomfortably warm in the house (if leaving house earlier in the day and closing sliding doors per owners directions).Yes, there’s some warning about bugs. We didn’t find them bad, and if you’ve ever lived in a hot humid location, it shouldn’t bother you. But if that’s a foreign concept to you, take warning.

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood.

The property was stunning. The ocean is only a few minute walk which we all enjoyed after dinner. The view and ocean sounds from the lanai was wonderful anytime of the day. The Weber grill made it perfect for grilling dinner every night. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms in each bedroom were large. My wife likes to bird and there were no shortage of birds on the property. There are no negatives to say only positives. We truly enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay here again if we return to the big island. Thank you Howard for the wonderful hospitality.

Christmas break on the Big Island

This property was perfect!! Close enough to everything while keeping us out of the busy tourist areas. The home was clean and cozy. Howard was away for the holiday. But, left us with contact info and a binder full of his island favorites. We particularly appreciated the instructions left by him that took us to the Puna trail, which led us to a private(ish) beach. There, we got to view the sea turtles soaking up the sun. We loved staying here, and plan on returning again in there future! Mahalo Howard!!

Great spot for a family

Stayed 5 nights over Thanksgiving. The house is super roomy, the property is beautifully landscaped and the kids loved the pool table and darts. The beach is super close and the sunrises were amazing. This place truly is a tropical paradise!

Plenty of room, gorgeous property

House was great, plenty of room. Lots of fun things for the family, bikes, pool table, etc.. Nice to know host was close but didn't need anything. House is not far from the coast which is nice, bit of a drive to store, etc..Very quiet and peaceful, especially in the mornings on the big deck.

Great place!

Our family flew to the island for my daughter’s Graduation to UH Hilo. This was a great place stay. Plenty of room, clean and peaceful. I highly recommend this house.

My sons are now grown and have families of their own and I felt that it was time to share my home with other travelers. I live in a cottage on the back of the property so I can give my guests privacy when they need it and assistance with questions or issues that may come up.
