A perfect place for 1-4 people to stay! You will have plenty of room, shared use of a grill, backyard, and outdoor dining area. Location is fantastic - it's only a 3 minute walk to the lagoon/beach, 20 minute walk to the Oak Bluffs harbor, 25 minute walk to downtown Oak Bluffs, and 7 minute drive to State Beach.

We have central AC and heat to keep you comfortable no matter what the temperature is!

The owners live upstairs with their two young kids (5 & 7) and a dog. As such, this listing is for early-risers ready to enjoy the beauty of island mornings :)

Perfect accommodations for my wife and i to revisit our wedding site on MV. Flight delays caused us to miss the ferry in on day 1, and Josh was so gracious in offering us another day. Clean, comfortable, close to restaurants, super nice host. Will stay there again next visit.

We had a good stay overall! The check-in process was smooth and easy, and Josh was incredibly accessible and helpful throughout our visit. He was quick to respond and handled any issues professionally, which we really appreciated.The house is in a very convenient and private location. It’s only about a 10-minute drive or a 25-minute walk to Circuit Ave. Just note that part of the walk doesn't have a sidewalk, so it's something to be mindful of.The house itself is comfortable, but there are a few things future renters might want to know. If you’re driving a low-clearance car, be careful with the driveway, as it could scrape the underside of your vehicle. Also, we had read in a previous review that the bed was quite low, and it definitely was, plus a bit creaky. The floors are also thin, so you can hear footsteps, movement, and voices from upstairs pretty clearly.We would’ve loved more natural light in the space, as it felt a bit dim during the day. When we first checked in, there was a cleanliness issue with the carpet, which seemed like it hadn’t been vacuumed, there was laundry left in the washer machine, and the garbage can was missing its lid (we didn't realize until later). Again, Josh handled the concerns quickly and professionally, which made a big difference.All in all, a good stay with a great host, just a few quirks to be aware of depending on your preferences and needs.

Great stay

The location was nice, in a quiet area. It was a short drive to downtown, which was convenient. Everything we could have needed was provided, and the place was very clean. The property owners were delightful to talk with. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

The bed is to low to the floor. I got 3 different cramps in my legs getting out of the low bed.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, comfortable apartment. It has everything we needed to enjoy our time in Martha's vineyard. It's a 5 minute drive to many great restaurants and shops. The beach at the bottom of the street is great to sit and watch the boats and enjoy the water view. Josh and Tonya were helpful with lots of local info and we enjoyed talking with them.

Cozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a quiet neighborhood away from the town (if you want to get to the Oak Bluffs "town," it's over a mile walk). Our host, Josh, was upfront about the family noise from his home upstairs and it wasn't an issue for us.

Quiet and pleasant

This is the second time we've stayed at this location. Loved being just a few steps from the pond. Bit of a longer walk (about 20 minutes) to get to town but still very walkable. The host family was extremely responsive and helpful. 4 stars overall due to the apartment needing a dehumidifier. The apartment could get very muggy which was sometimes uncomfortable after coming in from a hot day.

Great apartment!

My husband, my 5 year old and I visited the island and we really enjoyed our stay here! It was very clean and had everything we needed including beach gear. The hosts were very accommodating. Location was fantastic. I would recommend this place! It was a 10/10

Nice Unit in a Family Home

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. Everything was clean and neat. Very close to lots of great sights in Oak Bluffs. Affordable price for the island. Owner was very nice to deal with.

This was a great place to stay

We had a great time in this property. Booking it was seamless. Check in was seamless. Along with the key there is useful information on the island. Josh proved to be a great host within an hour of our arrival when my husband accidently locked us out. Josh didn't make us feel bad and was very accommodating. The property was just as pictured...clean, cozy and spacious. It is perfect for two adults or a family with small children. The kitchen appeared to have what was needed though we ate all meals out. The front room was a perfect place to do a few hours of work while my husband slept. The bedroom had a Queen bed and a hanging rack for our clothes. There was a family room perfect for watching tv. The property is the first level and Josh and his family with young children live on the upper floors and could sometimes be heard. I am an early riser and my husband sleeps hard so that had no impact on our vacation. Its a little over a mile but we walked into Oaks Bluffs a few times during our stay. It is an easy relaxing 25 minute walk into downtown Oaks Bluff. We rented a car and walking avoided the parking issue. We drove into Tisbury and Vineyard Haven. There is a small lake steps from the door...a great place to watch the sunset. The property came with linens, beach towels and a few chairs. It was perfect. If you are looking for comfortable and well kept lodgings for a value...this is it. We would absolutely rent again and recommend it highly.

Great stay

This property is lovely and larger than expected. It’s a short drive to downtown OB. Check in was easy and communication with Josh was smooth. I would certainly choose to stay here again.

Perfect location

We had a great stay! It was the perfect size for my husband and I ! We were able to get to our friends house in Oak Bluffs and Downtown so easily! The little beach at the end of the block was so beautiful and peaceful!

Perfect for our needs

We stayed for three nights with our two children. It was perfect for our needs at a fair price. Extremely clean and comfortable with ample room for our small family. The space is neither rustic nor fussy and it felt safe for our toddler. We particularly appreciated the parking space and beach gear, washer dryer, pack and play and mini-split AC. We felt right at home with the family atmosphere of the property. We will certainly try to stay here again next year!

This place was excellent! Super clean , everything you need whether cooking, going to the beach or staying in. Hosts were very responsive and super accommodating. 15 minute walk to town, 2 minutes to the lagoon beach Would stay there again
