Förbered måltiderna i vårt rymliga nya kök eller besök en av Marathons utmärkta restauranger. Nyrenoverade badrum och sovrum med alla nya möbler!

Endast några minuter till revet och utanför fiske. Inga långa turer går ut genom slingrande kanaler för att nå öppet hav. Bra SCUBA dykning och fiske! Bara 45 minuter från Key West. Marathon är hem för det berömda Dolphin Research Center och den historiska Pigeon Key.

Wonderful stay and relaxing vacation

Upon entering we were impressed by the view, the cleanliness of the home, and the location was convenient to many restaurants and grocery store. Although the airport is nearby, it is not a distraction at all, in fact we enjoyed watching aircraft flying over while enjoying the pool! The pool was our oasis and the outdoor seating areas were wonderful! The kitchen was very well stocked and organized with everything you would need to cook a meal! This was our first trip with our boat and the dock could not have been better, very adequate space for our 23 ft Key West. We loved every aspect of this home, we hope to be able to enjoy it again in the future! Thank you to the owner’s for providing such a great home away from home for us!

Marathon Paradise House

Property was wonderful. Dining table has sliding glass door with view of bay, facing west so the sunset is spectacular. House very comfortable, fell asleep every night on the sofa after a long day of fishing. Pool was great, waterfall very relaxing. Dock was spacious, plenty of water for wash off. Owner checked in on us since there was a tropical wave in the area. Overall, highest recommendations for this property and property management.

Excellent Keys Vacation Property

This is a wonderfull vacation property. Excellent location and beautiful house. This was our 6th time and we plan on coming back next year. Love the Keys!

Location, Location, Location!

To me vacations are all about location. If you love the water and the easiest access to open water this house gets 5 stars. The location cannot be beat and the amenities are all there for a perfect vacation. I recommend this house for many reasons and you cannot pick a better location in the middle keys!

Very Nice Place

I loved this property! This place was very clean; not many places are as clean as I prefer. I loved the amenities. Quick access to the bay and vaca cut. The pool was great to get refreshed after a day on the boat. Definitely would stay here again.

Exceptional Vacation Rental

This was the BEST vacation home that we have ever stayed in. The views are of the water/ocean. No channels to maneuver to get to the ocean. The pool was perfect. The house is gorgeous and abundantly stocked with towels, spices, you name it! The owners are super nice and fast to respond to any questions. We spent the week boating and enjoying that beautiful paradise. It was absolutely perfect!

This house & the view were amazing! We loved the upgraded bathrooms, new furnishings, & large deck!

We have stayed at this house twice now and it's definitely a place we have fallen in love with! The nice renovations have enhanced the charm of this lovely home. The scenic views from the large deck makes it feel like our own private oasis. Our family and our dogs definitely plan on returning to this comfortable, clean, and open concept home for another vacation in two years.

Amazing Week in paradise!

The house/property was just perfect for us. The house was very nice (newly remodeled) and had an amazing kitchen. The dock and yard worked perfectly for our boat and trailer. The pool was wonderful and the neighborhood was very quiet in a central location of Marathon. The owners responded quickly to everything and we had an amazing week! Thank you!!

Great stay!

We had a fantastic time at this property! Right on the water, warm sun by day, cool breezes by night. The home was very clean, well apportioned, and very comfortable. The back yard of the house is the star with the excellent deck and patio, comfortable adirondack chairs, and a great pool! There were two minor issues during the stay and both times we had a response from the owner within 15 minutes that took care of the issue! Overall, you cannot go wrong this property!

Great way to spend Spring Break

We absolutely loved the house. It provided us with everything we needed. The pool was wonderful. The house was very close to the Turtle Hospital, The Dolphin Research Center, Bahia Honda and the 7 mile bridge. We loved walking the old historic 7 mi bridge at sunset. On the days we felt like leaving marathon and driving up to Key West it was an enjoyable car ride across the many keys and bridges.

Fabulous Family Vacation

What a wonderful home! Rod and Sandy were responsive and super easy to work with! The outdoor space was wonderful and we watched beautiful sunsets every evening. The kitchen was awesome - the best stocked kitchen we've ever had in a rental! The renovations and new furnishings made the house so comfortable - we didn't want to leave. Thank you for sharing your marvelous house with us!!

Fabulous Vacation Home for Families and Friends

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Has all of the amenities of home and then some. Easy access to both the Bay and the Ocean. Great fishing and diving! Awesome sunsets, and wildlife (right at the dock or in the cove. Turtles, manatees, birds and fish). Loved the use of kayaks! Stay in for a home cooked meal or visit one of the many restaurants in the area. Our family really had a great vacation! We will definitely come again! Thanks again to Dr. and Mrs. Duncan for allowing us to stay in their lovely home!

Paradise

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in the keys this house was superb. Loved the amenities the kitchen was fully stocked the outdoor area was beautiful and the large living area was a plus. The owners were super helpful and answered any questions. The cleaning service was still finishing up the day of our arrival and Ms Beverly was so sweet and wanted to make sure we didn’t need anything else. She even came back to bring a roll of paper towels. We definitely will be back and are planning our family vacation at this rental for next summer. Would highly recommend this property 10/10.

Marathon Retreat Rental

Rod and Sandy's home is welcoming in every way- I usually travel with a giant plastic bin filled with everything from detergent and toilet paper to spices and my crock pot, WELL... this property has it all (even the crock pot!) which makes all the difference when you arrive to the rental. They have you ready to go allowing you to settle in and go to the market the next day... or the day after that ;). The house was very clean, organized and comfortable. The decor is beautiful, whimsical with all that FL Keys charm. You have a peek-a-boo view of the sunset but its a 3 minute run out the canal on the boat (or paddelboats) and the cove its in is peaceful and relaxing. Communication with Rod was great as well. Loved this home and hope to return again and again. Thank you Rod and Sandy.

Beautiful home on the water

We very much enjoyed staying at Island Paradise! The house was beautiful and perfectly situated on the water; exactly as described in the listing and check in was incredibly easy. We were able to pull our boat up to the dock and make use of the bait freezer and fish cleaning table. We enjoyed sitting out by the water every night having cocktails and watching the fish swim around the snook light. The pool was lovely and we spent a ton of time in it! We frequently went out on the kayaks. The kitchen was modern and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of parking for our vehicles and boat trailer. The house was very close to several restaurants and grocery stores, we found it very easy to get around. We would definitely be interested in staying here again and have already recommended it to friends!! Thank you for you sharing your home with us!!

First Trip, but not the Last!

Rod & Barb, We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Keys and want to thank you for the use of your home. It was exactly as advertised, but even more. Sunsets are amazing, the kayaks are a great plus and access (water and land) is great. Couldn't ask for more. This was our first trip to the Keys and I suspect you have spoiled us! We met the welcoming committee (beautiful green iguana) immediately upon arrival and this set the stage for more wildlife viewings. We made 8 dives and got to see sharks, barracuda, green turtle, spotted eel, moray eel, stingray, puffer fish, tons of lobster and many more! Took trips to Key West, Key Largo, the Turtle Hospital and several local restaurants. Your home made for a great "base of operations" for the week and each day we looked forward to being home to watch the sunset and feed the fish off the dock. We hope we can come back soon!

Relaxing stay over spring break

Two adults and four teenage boys relaxed, wandered, fished, swam, kayaked, paddle boarded, and watched March Madness while staying at this lovely home in Marathon. We chose this house because of the water, private pool, price, but most of all I read that Manatees will come to visit. Our last day, a mom and her calf swam up to the docks and visited with us. This was a memory we will cherish forever - our photos have them looking us right in the eyes. I suggest renting Paddle Boards from Wheels to Go (down the road) as they will have them delivered and waiting on you when you arrive (if you pay cash, you get a better deal). Our boys loved Seven Mile Grill the best, and the adults enjoyed a sunrise cruise that captured amazing sunsets (Sailing Catamaran, SIRIUS). We were not prepared for tiny little biting gnats though - day three had to get bug spray and itch medicine. Got to remember it is the tropics. ***The updated and remodeled kitchen is to die for***We all found ourselves enjoying cooking, cleaning, and eating as it just has a great feel to it with the colors, new appliances, and flow of everything. Thank you for the wonderful stay and opening up your nice home to strangers so we can enjoy it as well!
