Soundside Vacation Oasis
If you're in the market for a soundside sanctuary with lots of natural light and plenty of amenities, Drifting Sands is the beach house for you. Located in the beautiful Monteray Shores Community in Corolla, this 4 Bedroom, 3.5 Bathroom beach house is the perfect place to enjoy open spaces and beach breezes. Take advantage of the countless amenities provided as part of the Monteray Shores Community including a tennis court, boat ramp, basketball court, and fitness center. Watch the priceless Outer Banks sunrise from the furnished top sun deck or go for a swim in your private pool. And when sand and sun are calling your name, Drifting Sands is only a 3-minute drive/0.9 mile from the Sailfish Dr. Public Beach Access, which has parking, a lifeguard, and a wooden walkway, meaning that nothing will be standing in the way of you and your perfect beach vacation.
As soon as you enter Drifting Sands, you will be met with calm, beachy vibes and an absolutely pleasant atmosphere ideal for vacation relaxation.On this floor, you'll find a spacious Queen bedroom and a room with 2 twin beds. A combined hallway bathroom with individual sinks means no fighting over bathroom counter space. Go directly out back from this floor to access the luxurious private pool and a patio with reclining lounge chairs.
Head upstairs and you'll find the spacious living area where a Palladian-style window opens up the space to bathe the room in natural light. Enjoy a quiet evening cozying up on the couches as a family while you watch your favorite movie on the flat screen TV or simply spend time together prepping for the next days' adventures. Prepare a luscious breakfast in the modern kitchen to enjoy in the dining area, which can seat 6, or at the breakfast bar with its 2 additional chairs. At sunset, take a walk out onto the furnished sun deck to enjoy an evening seafood spectacular or an adult drink as you lay back on the comfortable outdoor furniture and watch the stars appear in the sky. You'll also find the King Master Bedroom (with private deck access) and the Queen Master Bedroom on this floor, each with their own private bathrooms with another half-bathroom down the hall.
When it's time for some fun, take the stairs down to the private pool for a swim or getting a tan out on the patio. With the beach only 1 mile away (3-minute drive/15-minute walk), it's easy to spend the day in the waves before coming back, rinsing off in the outdoor shower, and tossing the laundry in the downstairs washer and dryer. Be sure to take advantage of all of the Monteray Shores Community benefits including a clubhouse, fitness center, and playground. And don't forget to bring the boat since the community also offers sound access with a boat ramp!
