Nicely furnished with large balcony for sitting and enjoying your view of the marina and Intercoastal Waterway. Wharf has nightly laser light shows, ferris wheel, movie theatre, shopping, dining, concerts, fishing tournaments, etc. Always some fun activities going on. Large Oasis waterpark with pools and lazy river. Tram to waterpark or a short walk. Assigned parking in parking garage with direct walkover to 3rd floor unit. Beautiful gulf beaches are just a short drive away.

Great weekend location!

Chose location for a concert at the Wharf, couldn’t get better location location location. Initial walk in/ through was wow this is nice but a few things could have been better… coffee pot didn’t work, water filter on fridge needed to be changed (I live for coffee). Patio is fabulous but was in need of a little attention . Sliding door very hard to open and close. Overall stay was good and would stay again.

Great getaway

The location is fantastic, very clean and Main Street has so many things to offer for a fun family experience. Having access to The Oasis was such a blessing and being close to so many other options for food and entertainment made the entire trip so relaxing for us. I love that this condo was close to the elevators and on the 3rd floor. However, the coffee maker did not work, thank goodness there was a K-cup option, the kitchen could have been equipped a little better, the toilet seat in the master bath needs to be replaced, the jet tub wasn't working which was disappointing, and the sliding door needs a new track or we did the Hulk during our next visit. Overall, good experience. We will be back before the end of the year.

Great condo but…

The condo was great. No issues with that, however we rent using Vrbo often and I have never been to a property that only provided one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. (Our reservation was for 4 adults for 3 nights) There were also no plates or cups in the kitchen (did have wine glasses). If this is how the property is stocked all the time then the listing should be updated to state that there are no essential items included (Toilet paper, kitchen utensils or plates and cups). The back slicing door to the AMAZING patio is also very hard to open and made it difficult to even enjoy the porch. The unit is beautiful and clean, just be prepared to bring daily living items.

Nice condo, convenient location

Stayed here for 4 nights during our trip to Orange Beach for cheer competition. Condo was nice, easy check in/out process. Conveniently located to beach and places of interest in the area. However, condo was not properly stocked with enough basic essentials like toilet paper and garbage bags. Only 1 roll per bathroom and 1 trash bag provided. So be sure to bring your own items or be prepared to buy some from the local grocery. Dishes, cookware and silverware were not clean, had to rewash just about everything we used. Still had a great stay regardless.

Family vacation

We stayed here to be close to several beaches while having the option to stay in the Wharf with lots of food, drink and entertainment options. Managed to keep the wife and 2 teenage girls happy. Would stay again.

Very poor communication

The Condo itself was very nice with a wonderful view and great location for the Wharf Concert Venue. However, we were suppose to check in at 4. when were almost there at 6 when we realized we were never sent the access code. WE reached out to the property manager asking for the code. We heard back at 6:30 saying there was a mix up and that the condo was not clean yet. This was not communicated to us before we reached out. When we got to the condo at 7 the condo still was not clean. Asked several questions by messaging the property manager with no answers. We did not know if we would have a CLEAN place to stay after the concert was over. We got one message that said we have processed your REFUND. We were not told what the refund was for or how much. To us it implied for the stay.The Condo was clean when we got back. But the lack of apology, explanation and the lack of communication from the property manager made the stay very stressful. To me the refund message implied for the whole stay. We found out days later that it was for 75 which was 1/2 the cleaning fee. This was never stated. The communication was awful. Again the CONDO was nice and the view watching the boats on the large balcony was nice.

Wharf at O.Beach

Spacious condo close to the action in the Wharf District. Check in process was not good... entry codes were not delivered prior to arrival, had to wait almost an hour in 90 degree temps to get into the condo.

Stay at the wharf

317 is a gorgeous condo. Great location. Huge balcony on the marina. The kids loved the Oasis with pool & lazy river. Family friendly activities & shopping in the evenings. Good restaurants without having to leave the property. We were I town for softball tournament & played at Foley so it worked great for us!!!

Overall great place to vacation

Property felt nice relaxing and clean.absolutely love the location. The only problem is that we could not park on the right floor at our reserved spot or get into the downstairs door to the elevators because they gave us the wrong code. It was hard to get to our room for the first couple of days as well as bring our luggage up the flight of stairs.

Excellent location and beautiful condo

If you're planning on attending an event at The Wharf this is the place to stay. The condo was immaculate, not sure I've seen such a clean facility before. The view is spectacular, it may not be beach front but we weren't there for the beach, just the entertainment. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping literally within 5 minutes of walking out the door. Surprisingly the craziness downstairs quiets down at a reasonable hour. Unfortunately we missed out on the lazy river and pool area, just ran out of time. My only negative comment is from the viewpoint if I were the condo owner. If I paid that much for such an amazing condo I'd expect to have a reserved, covered parking spot, that seemed kind of odd but the fault of the builder/management company and not this listing. Ultimately, highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

Very disappointed

Have stayed at The Wharf 12 years in a row and have never been disappointed until this most recent trip. The issues were related to the unit we stayed in, 317, not The Wharf in general. There was jack-hammering going on above our unit for 2 full days, probably removing tile flooring. The dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen floor the first time we used it. The wifi information provided was incorrect. I called the property manager and it took two days to respond! That in itself was very disappointing. (I will add that we did tried the dishwasher again and it did not leak). There were many other issues including some concerning safety issues that were bought to her attention: cover plate missing from bath outlet, grill ignitor dangling, missing smoke detector, some dishes visibly dirty, one TV had no cable/streaming, shower hardware falling off, etc. Not sure who this falls on, the owner or property manager, but someone needs to take responsibility. Our son, DIL, and two small grandchildren drove 12 hours to Orange Beach from Texas, only to be frustrated because of the toddlers not being able to nap because of the construction noise. We feel that we should have been notified of the construction noise prior to our arrival, to give us the opportunity to re-schedule or move to another unit. I honestly think that if either the owner or property manager experienced what we did ANYWHERE, they would not be happy, too. Treat your clients how you would want to be treated!

Spacious, nice, exactly what I expected

I read the reviews before we booked & thought…I can deal with those things. Yes, a curtain was hanging, the ice maker broken but NOTHING that was a big deal. There was ice in the freezer. Some people are just more picky than others. We had a great time! Huge back porch, the rooms were at different ends of condo, so that was nice & private with two couples there. Grill fired up easy, bathtub in master was perfect for our 2 year old & I felt at home while I was there. You will also be on the 3rd floor which is a blessing because you walk straight over from assigned parking to your room. No need for elevator if you park in assigned parking. You have a great view of laser light show at Wharf from front balcony area. I’d stay there again for sure.

Property manager was very responsive with questions. We enjoyed our stay! The only cons were that the property was not as clean as I would have liked if it was mine… toothpaste on bathroom walls…bedroom trash wasn’t emptied…. Deodorant lid was shoved down master sink drain….chips under the couch and socks under the dresser in guest room…. Jets didn’t work in master bath, no dish rag was left for us to do dishes with, there are no pot holders in the kitchen and no tv’s in either bedroom so the kids made pallets in the living room at night.

Wharf vs Beach side Condo

MS O Wharf area very nice. However, we would rather Drive/Uber to the area from a place with a close all day pool. Did not enjoy driving to pool everyday and not being able to enjoy all our own food and drink we prepared to bring. Also would rather have private beach/Bay access area close by. Condo was not stocked with some necessities needed. No blender, blow dryer, ice bucket, wine opener, or mixer. Ice maker broken! Go figure!!! Bath towels were very thin and small. Balcony furnishing filthy dirty. Drapes falling off rods in master and living area. Found peeled nuts under bed. I mean really!!! Vacuum cleaners reach under beds. GREAT WORKING A/C, FRIDGE, WINE COOLER AND OVEN. We are constructive criticizers and hope the next renters have a bit better info and experience. Ms J

Definitely Stay Again, It was SO NICE!

Let me lead with this, YES, we would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to other family members. If you are like me, I read review after review and thoroughly scout out a place before booking. I hope to help anyone with questions or concerns. This was a very impromptu trip with my 4 member family. Our kids are pre-teens and had no trouble sharing a room, so this 2 bed/2 bath worked for us. I will list the PROS and CONS, and please keep in mind, this is our experience and our opinions. PROS: Close to the Elevator, The key pad entry was so nice not having to deal with a front desk person, It has an outdoor grill (we did not use it, but will next time), the Balcony is HUGE, Balcony had 2 sofas (my son loved this area!), washer and dryer in condo, The balcony view was impressive, (my son liked watching the yachts and barges go by), decor was very neutral tone and beach themed, THE POOL, Oh my goodness, the Pool Area was like a tropical Oasis- It was NOT crowded at all (we felt very safe and comfortable letting our kids wander around), HUGE Master Closet to hide all your mess, Provided extra blankets in the closets, there were family games in the pantry closet (we added a set of UNO cards), fresh bouquet of flowers were on the dining table, the A/C unit was fantastic (it kept up with HOT HOT days), the kitchen was nicely stocked with pots/pans etc... CONS: Ice Machine was Broken (no big deal), Battery was out in the big clock in the living room (My OCD let that bother me), Only 1 TV (I REALLY wish I had known this- there are NO TV's in the bedrooms), 2 small rolls of toilet paper that lasted 2 days, Not enough bath towels and rags (I washed a load every day), only 1 Dish Towel (aggravating), Smoke alarm broken in guest room and left laying on the dresser, the Mirror in the Guest room was not connected to the dresser and it made me very nervous with my kids, The Jet Tub jets in the Master Bath was broken, The dryer needed 2 cycles to thoroughly dry heavy laundry, only 1 dish washer tab was supplied along with 2 laundry powder packs (I brought my own anyway), The living room light fixture had 2 out of 3 light bulbs out. All in all, NONE of the cons were deal breakers. They were minor inconveniences, that need attention, but would not hinder me from booking again. I will say this in closing, THERE IS A LOT OF WALKING INVOLVED. If you have bad feet or knees, you are in for some pain, but it was worth every bit!
