"Hummingbird Cottage" (dubblat av våra gäster) är en berättelseöversikt över hjärtat av centrala Ventura. Fristående Gästhus med privat badrum, hål och pentry på fastigheten med ägarens huvudhus. Treehouse är också en separat struktur och rymmer en.

Privat frodig blommaträdgård med full utsikt över bergen och en kik-a-boo av havet med Kanalöarna på klara dagar, rådjur som betar på Grant park vid soluppgången på kullen. Bara steg till historiska huvudgatan och det är trendiga butiker och restauranger, nattklubbar och gallerier till färska råvaror på Farmer's market på lördagsmorgnar. Ta strandkryssarna ner miles av strandpromenad förbi Surfer's Point, mässområdet, flera campingplatser, den längsta piren i Kalifornien till hamnen och därefter. Vandring, surfing och nattliv ligger alla gångavstånd. Ojai och Santa Barbara ligger snabbt bort. Rummen är mycket små men charmiga, boendet är för människor som vill utforska vad området har att erbjuda. Fire Pit, Fontän, Barbecue, Porch Swing, det är romantiskt och subtilt för den perfekta resan. Så nära vad du vill se men känns som den perfekta djungeln Hide-Away.

Super beautiful and cute place, really fun design and great amenities. Perfect for a romantic getaway and if you have a 3rd wheel they can sleep in the adorable treehouse! Sandra was super responsive and got us checked in very easily and made sure we had everything we needed. We’re planning to return very soon.

We had a great 3-night stay over the weekend. The big backyard garden is truly wonderful. The plants, seating areas, fire pit, and water fountain create such a relaxing atmosphere. Based on its stellar location, this rental was great value for its price. There are so many great restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. We walked to the farmers market on Saturday morning. Just as it is advertised, the cottage is a small space. However, the amenities, over-the-top kindness from our hostess, and overall vibe completely make up for a little lost space. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Sandra was a great host there were lots of little extras to make the stay more enjoyable. The outdoor space was great and secluded. Just a walk down the hill to downtown for dinner. Lots of cycling routes in the area.

The location of this adorable property was within a short walk from many restaurants and shops on Main Street, a street without cars. We enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds feed on the bushes outside our window.

Despite a short stay, I had a great time!

The cottage is clean, quaint, and beautiful, it was perfect for my trip. I spent a lot of time in the tree house which was very quiet and cozy. Thank you Sandra for the lovely stay!!

Hummingbird cottage is a delightful getaway with a peekaboo view of the sea on a clear day. There is a beautiful garden to explore which is teaming with birds. Although it is a small house, it has everything. Plus it’s a 5 minute drive or a 12 mins to walk to downtown Ventura

Lovely stay!

Beautiful little get away cottage with easy walks to downtown main street and the beach. Cozy with a quiet, pretty backyard, we did not use the fire pit but it was nice to see it there for next time! The tree house bedroom room is tiny but fun. Everything very clean and pleasant.

Really enjoyed staying in Hummingbird Cottage. The property is quirky and might not be for everyone, so read the accurate description carefully when booking. We were looking for something a bit different so it really suited us. It was great to wake up to birdsong. The property is up the hill from the town so you need to be reasonably mobile if walking between the two, which we found simpler than driving.

We rented the Hummingbird Cottage for our family to stay at during our wedding , and had our wedding cake in the beautiful backyard area! Our experience here was absolutely wonderful- the host was so accommodating, check in easy to navigate, house was very clean, and the outdoor area and lower yard were stunning!! Tons of plants and a neat tree house to explore- I especially enjoyed watching the birds bathe in a fountain through the cottage window while getting my wedding make up done…Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for the magical experience : )

Summer getaway

The cottage was perfect for my wife and I, it was close to both Main Street with the shops and restaurants, as well as it is within walking distance to the beach. Wonderful time, and Sandra was very helpful in responding to our questions and needs.

Perfect place for an Enchanting Get Away

Beautiful location! Very close to the beach and downtown. I had visited Ventura before, but the host recommended some great eats and entertainment around the area. I would recommend this cottage to anybody wanting a break from the outside world with their own little slice of paradise. :)

Small house with very nice gardens

The cottage was in a nice location, easy walking distance to Ventura downtown. The rooms were small but ok for a solo traveler like me or a couple. The gardens around the cottage were very nice and I felt like it was a very pleasant experience.

I am a business owner, a mom and a former art director in the film industry. I love Ventura and all it has to offer in the way of daytime adventure and nature, nightlife and art. Forbes magazine lists Ventura as one of the top four places to live in the U.S.! I agree. I have been surprised and pleased with the lovely guests we have had to enjoy the property and all Ventura has to offer..

Varför värden valde detta boende

Just one hour North of Hollywood, one half hour South of Santa Barbara, and twenty minutes West of Ojai, we have the best of the ocean, the city and the mountains right here and a quick hop away. Pets are also welcome in the cottage. Securely fenced and ready to roam, the large garden and wild lower yard are, as recent guests described it, 'Dog Heaven'.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The treehouse is tiny and enchanting. Completely wired, WIFI friendly and heated, it is perfect for naps for adults or children to sleep in. Best view on the property of the green, untouched mountains to our North. Some guests have had to draw straws to determine who gets the treehouse!
