The area has seen tremendous growth and investment - many homes have been recently renovated like ours, while others are still in need of renovations. If you are not comfortable with this, and feel as though this type of location may negatively impact your review, we kindly ask that you do not book our home.

Well ..

AC was on the fritz so he moved me to another awesome place but had to leave the next day because of code problems. .I was refunded tho and he really did try to do everything he could for me.. I'd definitely rent from them again ..

Wonderful host, Questionable Neighborhood

When we booked this VRBo we were well aware of the fact that the neighborhood had renovated homes and others that were in need of repairs. We never felt unsafe during the day however, as a family with children, there were situations that happened at night that made us uncomfortable (neighbors screaming/fighting/cursing, feeling like someone was right outside of the windows, sirens at all hours of the night, etc). I am not quite sure I would advertise this home as being in a diverse, working class neighborhood. Even with these issues, I would book this place again, just not with children. That said, Mike was a WONDERFUL host! He answered all my questions quickly before arrival and during our stay. He offered suggestions for attractions. The house itself is cute and charming. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There were beach towels available. There were some cleaning supplies and laundry detergent which came in handy. The kitchen could possibly use a few items...maybe some mixing bowls and containers for leftovers, but if you don't plan to cook, not a big deal. Also, we were able to make do with what was available. The location of the house is SUPER convenient to the area attractions. We were able to get most everywhere we wanted within 15-20 minutes. Also, there is a seafood market just a few minutes from the property. The house is VERY fairly priced, and even with the few minor complaints, it beat staying in a hotel.
