Beach Front Sugar Beach Resort. 3rd Floor, Ocean View Unit. Beautifully updated unit with sweeping ocean views. Enjoy all of the amenities in a clean, well-kept property. The entire complex sits ocean front, there are no roads to cross to get you onto the beach! 305 is mid floor resort living with views that go on forever. Unit is accessible via elevator or stairs.

The carefully chosen furnishings and decor in this updated unit will allow you to melt into 'Maui Time'. Dine on your lanai while watching the 'green flash' that can occur when the sun sets into the ocean. There are many green sea turtles swimming in the surf in front of Sugar Beach Resort, and magnificent humpback whales as they return each winter to enjoy their calving grounds in the Maui waters.

Enjoy walking the more than 5 Mile continuous beach every morning or evening. There are many pieces of lawn and garden furniture spread throughout the resort grounds and pool area. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is heated and kept between 80 - 85 degrees (one of the warmest and only heated pools in Kihei). 305 is part of Sugar Beach Resort which won Management of the year for 2011.

The Unit is very well equipped, it has all of the linens and towels that you will need. There are two cable TV's, one flat screen in the bedroom and a another flat screen in the living room, both have DVD players for movies. A stereo system with CD is provided, high speed broadband internet is available in the unit as well. There is a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen is completely stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, microwave, etc. Food is available nearby at: Costco in Kahului, while Kihei offers a Safeway, Food Land, Star Market, and a daily Farmer’s market.

Sugar Beach 305

Check-in process was super easy ! Resort manager and Host were very knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful updated unit with a breathtaking ocean view. Close to amazing golf courses and restaurants. Also, can walk out from resort to beautiful long sandy beach AND the best shaved ice in MAui. A great choice to stay when visiting the beautiful island of Maui. We will definitely be back!

Amazing trip

This condo was fantastic! King size bed, which was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with any pot/pan/appliance/utensil you may need. Recliner in the living area. The grounds and pool were beautifully kept, and the access to the beach can't be beat. Gorgeous sunsets every night. Quick access to any area of the island. Onsite concierge to help you with excursions, as well as a sandwich shop/bar if you don't want to cook or go out. We had a great time!

Great place to stay

We have stayed in different units of sugar beach resort over the years and this rates as one of the nicest. Great view, excellent amenities, covered parking, and walk out access to the pool and the beach. Perfect for a week away!

Wonderful place in a GREAT location!!! Apartment was neat and clean, grounds are very clean, maintenance guys cleaning every early morning, even wiping the railing around the pool. Apartment has has everything you need, super well equipped kitchen (literally whatever I needed to prepere meals was there), 3 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas(we used one) a small cooler backpack and even flashlights which were super useful when we went to see the sunrise above the clouds. Each morning we started the day with a walk on the beach followed by breakfast on the balcony listening to the ocean waves. Will be recomending this place to my friends and hoping to be back one day. Thank you Kristi !

Great Location just a little unclean

Great location with a great pool and hot tub! Loved that it was right on the beach and was easy to access. Check in process was smooth and easy. Inside the actual room was just okay. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t actually been really scrubbed in quite a while. Let’s just say there wasn’t a lack of mold in the shower.

This condo is in an amazing location! The views were spectacular. The condo had everything we needed and more. The pool is right next to the ocean. Convenient to all parts of the island. Host was very responsive.

Amazing Condo!

My family had a wonderful time! The condo was clean and exactly what we needed. It's in a great location, has plenty of free parking, and a great pool and beach access. Kristi, the owner, is fabulous to work with and very helpful! We will absolutely stay again next time we visit Maui!

Perfect in every way.

Location was great, steps from the beach. Loved the view from the lanai. Grateful for the insulated bag and ice packs. We used them every day. Extra nice that they provided laundry soap. Pool was clean and just the right temperature. Great location for enjoying the sunsets. just the right temperature.

Convenient and Spacious

This unit was well stocked just like the description states. The unit is spacious and has all the comforts of home. Nice view of the beach. Close to restaurants. Only 75 minutes to Haleakala summit to view sunrise. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect!

We had an amazing stay! The property was perfect for us and our 4 year old girls! We had an awesome week of fun here! The condo was clean, had everything we needed, pool and amenities were great and steps from ocean. We enjoyed the close beach walks to the farmers market, abc store, bakery and shave ice each day. Owner was quick to respond and answer any questions! The entire trip was easy and awesome. We’ll be back for sure!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We loved this condo and resort. The condo was clean upon arrival. There were beach chairs, towels and an umbrella that we put to good use. The kitchen was fully stocked. We loved that the condo has an ocean view from the lanai. The resort was great with a large pool, hot tub and access to the beach. We enjoyed being able to walk to get shaved ice close by. The beach was clean and the sand was soft. It was nice to relax in the provided chairs as well. We will definitely stay here when we come again!

We enjoyed our stay here. Our unit was adequate and quite clean. We had the amenities we needed. Loved the location which was central to everything we wanted to see. I feel the exterior could use use some sprucing up. It's an older place and in need of painting. Hall by our room was drab. Pool area is nice but offers little shade. When we stayed the water was too rough all week for swimming. Management promptly helped with an issue we had.

Great Home base for Maui

This property was fabulous! Easy to park, on the beach, quiet, clean, fully stocked kitchen. Even had extra long grilling tools for when we took advantage of the gas grills onsite. We stayed w/ 2 adults and 2 teens. It felt bigger to us than the pictures looked. Would have liked a blender so we could made smoothies with all the fabulous fruit stand fruit :) Our only complaint was that the day before we left we tried contacting the property manager and it stated it was a restricted number and could not leave a message. We were trying to get an extra hour on our checkout from 10 to 11. I emailed, texted, and called both the property manager and the owner and did not get a reply. Thankfully I did not have an emergency but it was a little concerning. That is why we left the 4 stars instead of 5.

Kristi Poole är värd

Zach and Kristi Poole bought this condo in March 2022. We also own/manage 2 other condos in this resort Penthouse 1 (property id 461914) and 108 (property id 242977).
Zach grew up coming to this property as a kid, and then in 2002 he married Kristi and they returned here for their honeymoon. We dreamed of owning a piece of this beautiful property one day. Then in 2008 we had the opportunity to purchase 108 and Ph1 with other family members and since then have been able to return year after year with our children having fun and frolicking about Maui.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This property is updated and is located in one of the best spots on Maui. The entire resort is oceanfront...no roads to cross to get to the beach...no large expansive grounds to get across to the ocean, you are essentially right there on the beach.

The pool at Sugar Beach Resort is heated and is kept between 82 to 84 degrees. There are very few heated pools in Kihei and Wailea.

The hot tub is a wonderful and there is a sauna as well.
