Spacious house in a convenient location to shops and walking distance to the shore. Easy check-in and check-out process. Outdoor grill worked fine. Was a little surprised to see the cupboards and frig completely empty other than a few spices!

Awesome Setting - Near Beach (0.8 miles)

This house is very accommodating for a group of 8 or more people. It was clean and had everything we needed for the time we were there. It is conveniently located to Carmel and Monterrey and Big Sur even. It is also close enough to walk to the beach if you want to get your feet wet. We had a great time while there.

Great house! Great location!

We stayed at this vacation rental for a family get away. It's a very comfortable place that can accommodate a large group. The location is fantastic! Easy access to beach, downtown Carmel, and Highway 1 to Big Sur. It was nice to have a grocery store close by as well. The host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place!

Nice house and location

The house was very large and comfortable. It was stocked well with dishes and cookware. We had a couple small issues and the property manager was pretty quick to respond. Overall the stay was very pleasant and we would recommend it to others.

The booking was easy and the house was welcoming and spacious for our family reunion. It comfortably fit 10 of us; the large dining table perfectly accommodated everyone and there was plenty of seating in the living room for a movie or game night. The kids loved the ping pong and mini billiard table. We only had three cars, but could have fit at least two more in the driveway. We recommend this rental!

Our Carmel weekend

Beautiful house. Very comfortable and clean. I would suggest adding to the kitchen more glasses, more flatware and some kid friendly dishes. I was worried about kids breaking the dishes but all went well. Thanks for a great short visit.

I like places that have salt and pepper, oil, saranarap, aluminum foil. The ice maker didn't work. The host provided us with us but we had to go out and buy our own salt and pepper.

Hello Ray, I sm sorry for the inconvenience that was caused during your stay. However, we tried our best to give you guys the best experience. We dropped ice on the front door after your request, and the salt and pepper was certainly located in the kitchen cabinet during your stay.

Perfect for Girls Weekend

Our long weekend stay in this VRBO home was great. It fit our group of 11 women perfectly. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed (except maybe could use a few extra coffee cups!) The house was clean and in good working order. The location was perfect. We both walked and drove to downtown Carmel by the Sea. It was large enough for us all to sit in the living room and talk each evening. We had a great time.

We were very comfortable in the home, just wish it could have been for longer

We were all disappointed that it did not have the ocean view that the picture online depicted ??? We think you should remove it and put a corrected picture of the house and it's surroundings

Dear Cheryl, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. We have reviewed all photos on Vrbo and found one picture that shows the property and its surroundings (including the nearby ocean) from areial view/imagery. Based on your feedback, the owner of the house is going to remove this picture from the propety description page to prevent any misunderstanding. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and hope you choose to stay with us again when your travels bring you back to the Monterey/Carmel area. Thank you.

Ladies weekend this

This is a beautiful home. It was very clean and very well appointed. We were unaware of the game room, so it was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the weather was extreme so on Sunday we lost power from 10 AM until we left at two. Our reservation was to extend until Monday, but the storm, and the lack of power sent us home early.

Thank you for wonderful family weekend in Carmel

Spacious, impeccably clean property in a great location in Carmel. 7 family members. across 3 generations shared the home. Big beautiful kitchen and dining area for shared meais. Walking distance to safeway, and a bit further but still walkable carmel river beach and/or carmel beach. Communication was superb, and access was straightforward. We had no problems getting 3 cars in and out of the driveway. One of the best properties I have stayed in.

Great family house

We rented this house for its proximity to the Mission and bed/bedroom configuration. We had 12 adults family members staying in the house for a wedding. Everyone had a comfortable bed. The house is spacious with the added bonus of a game room with a ping pong table which provided hours of entertainment. Parking was a bit tricky because of driveway incline —turning cars around so as not to back out into the major street - but not a show stopper. The only thing missing was a hot tub for the chilly nights.

Big House Just Outside of Town

This property worked out great for us. We were coming into town for a wedding at Mission ranch and had a larger party. The house was about a 15 minute walk from the venue and about a 30 minute walk from downtown Carmel. Since there are no short term rentals in the town of Carmel, this was a great option for the weekend worked out great. No issues with anything and would definitely recommend this to larger parties or families for shorter trips.

Our family get away was on the New Year’s Day. The booking process is smooth and the instructions are clear. We arrived in the rain and were happy to open the door to a house that is clean and spacious to accommodate all our family members. Everyone can choose their own bed and easy access to the bathrooms. The condition of amenities is good and there are enough kitchenware and appliances to host a two-straight-day feasts. However, you might want to bring your own condiments if you have special taste demand. Brian, the host, was very responsive to answer our questions. The game room was a hit. We all have a good time. The location of the house is superb, easy access to the grocery store and specialty shops. Close to the charming town of Carmel, 17 Mile Drive and Pebble Beach is a plus. It was an unforgettable holiday getaways. All my family members agree that this place is worth every penny we spent and will definitely consider it again if we are to return to Carmel-by-the-Sea.
